Tottenham literally just had a few days before the end of the season. And winning that final would have been their only trophy since 2008 and they had the manager that has the best ratio in finals maybe ever.... It's just so stupid on every level

He did a great job at Spurs but because he hurt poor Dele Allis feelings, he was labelled as "toxic" .

Don't get me wrong he was clearly hamstrung and stupidly sacked before winning a trophy but he was toxic. We had it at Utd with Pogba (who was definitely in the wrong you can see now) but ultimately it all got very negative. The special one is a legend regardless but he has had a knack of toxicity. Think of Chelseas last season with him!

I think Levy sacked Mourihno as he didn’t see him as a coach for the longterm.
If Mourihno won the final he would get the backing of the fans for Spurs winning trophy.Sacking him later on would mean a larger backlash from the fans.
Nevertheless the timing of the sacking made no sense if Levy wanted to win Silverware.
Levy done him dirty. He chose to make Mourinho leave a club without a trophy, over having his Tottenham team win something for once. He purposefully chose to not win the cup to get one over on Mourinho.

Jose is a class act. A world class manager who accepts nothing but one hundred percent. Obviously his CV speaks for itself but he’s often regarded as an underachiever by many. Someone who’s lost the machismo, lost the X factor, is outdated. He’s not, he’s a genius coach.
Being a Liverpool fan, I despise him in a sporting sense but he’s pure class. I love him as someone not looking at it in a partisan way.
He thrives on confrontation to anger people to do better. Unfortunately footballers are so entitled and fragile that they can’t cope with anyone telling them they’re not IT.
He needs underdogs. He needs people to accept they aren’t the greatest players in the world in their positions but can absolutely batten down the hatches and collectively be the best. A TEAM.
Seeing him leaving Inter and the players crying and hugging him is testament to the skill of the man. To be able to take players places they never thought possible.
He was never a yes man and never will be. Some see that as a negative trait, where he becomes combative. I don’t. He’s got principles that change for nobody. He will tell the truth, no matter who it upsets. One of the greatest managers to ever live.

Hope people don’t confuse this as him being disloyal to the players he managed. He doesn’t have a connection to the club because the *ownership* didn’t appreciate and nurture the connection when he was there. His vision wasn’t respected. He wasn’t allowed to sign players he saw potential in and watched as other clubs swooped in and turned them into massive players. As Jose said, he loves the clubs that loved him back. It’s no wonder why he doesn’t feel a special connection.

When he got the job I was happy that a rival can take that next step with a legend of a coach, but it didnt work out. Levy either needs to change his approach on his next manager or history will repeat itself. Best wishes to Tottenham fans from a rival in Florida. By the time spurs went out of Europa league, they were 2nd highest goal scoring team across all competitions in Europe right behind Bayern. What he did with Kane Son partnership nobody saw it coming. They actually had 2 bad months and boom… cancelled! Problem with Tottenham is that they don’t have players who would give it all on the field like some low level club players do who have less talent but good work ethic, and they have massive egos like they are a big club. It’s a genuinely weird club!

Personally, I'd love for spurs to have a newcastle or man city-like owner, because the club could actually then rebuild into something good. Jose can win trophies when his team are favourite but he has also won trophies as the underdog.
As a life-long supporter of Tottenham Hotspur (50 years plus) I grew up with Martin Chivers and Martin Peters in our front line. We were always regarded as a "Cup Club". We never really competed for the League (early 1960's aside) but we won the FA Cup, League Cup and the odd European Cup (pre-Champions League). Having been to the new stadium as a Corporate Guest (lucky me!) all I can tell you is this - we have a good team, we have a magnificent stadium, we have the best supporters but we can't find, keep or retain any manager that is likely to get more positive press than our Board. As soon as any of our managers appears to be at a breakthough moment for Tottenham Hotspur they are "History!!" I thought this way about another favourite Martin of mine - Martin Jol - whose demise as our manager was a sad day for me. I was there at the old White Hart Lane when we lost a European game and he was sacked. Harry Redknapp was another who got close and then Mauricio Pochettino. Can anyone who loves this beautiful game please tell me how any manager is supposed to start a Premier League season with half his starting eleven "up for sale"? That moment, that point in time, tells you all you need to know about how Tottenham Hotspur is no longer a football club, but a Sporting Venue par excellence. It will make it's owners very rich, but it will leave its once proud supporters ever so much poorer.
