Why wait to earn, when you can learn and do it all by yourself. plus you'll love the sweet sweet boost and that whistle sound it makes every time you hit the throttle and you'll be proud of what you drive.

Im 14 but When i grow up i want to build a 800+ hp evo and i want to start learning so once i do get an evo i want to start modding it Asap. I dont have any mechanics in my family so i have no one to teach me. Anyways, a trade school, CZcams videos (I recommend Chrisfix in particular, but simply searching up whatever you want to do will likely bring up results), you could just consult somebody who knows how to do all this such as a local car enthusiast, or you could always just go to car meets and ask around and make friends, or join a car enthusiast discord or Facebook. There are a lot more ways you can learn the basics, and none of them are never an option!

Ajosay Beats nah I'm all self taught. Best way to learn is to just start tearing stuff apart and figuring out how it works, and why. Once you get a good grip on that, it's all easy. CZcams is a great resource for learning!

You can turbo any car, it will cost roughly 5,000 to do it properly with all the supporting mods.

I just don't see those wastegate dump tubes holding up, I'd figure a 600+ hp car shaking like hell with stiff or solid motor mounts during pulls will rattle those loose and cause the connection at the v band to the wastegate to crack. Something I would like to see is a support bracket that mounts to the down pipe to support the ends of the wastegate dump from excess vibration and future problems that I can assure will happen to owners

when you instal a turbo charger to normalno petrol engine do you need to change the ecu map parameters?
If you sneeze on these engines they’ll need a retune… of course you need to tune for new turbo!

Does the turbo have to be taken apart and put on piece by piece or can I just have the turbo assembled and put the whole turbo on at once after I put on the manifold?
That will work if the engine is out of the car, or if you're using a smaller turbo (7670) but due to firewall clearance on the Evo X, it needs to be disassembled. The compressor covers on the EFR turbos are large, and won't fit between the valve cover and the firewall.
Driven Fab ok. Seems like it would be a night mare to install. Are you guys able to make the manifold with 44mm Tial wastegates instead of the 38mm?
You don't need 44mm waste gates on this setup, because of the twin scroll design, 44mm waste gates are way over kill.

Purple Jello There are usually specific kits for different engines but there are plenty of universal kits. You can always make your own kit too.

Jonathan Enamorado Well the short answer is yes. You can turbo and truck, car, tractor, your lawn mower... Whatever. That said, that's an impossible question to answer, since you likely have so many different options on how to go about it. I'd recommend going to some forums for your car. Chances are, someone somewhere has turbocharged an M35, and posted information on the internet about it. Just Google and read, read, read.

Help, I had an engine swap, the same 4b11. Now my boost gauge in my cockpit pillar doesn’t move, I’m afraid I’m gonna blow the car up. I may have connected a hose into a different outlet. It’s a clusterfuck. I tried scheduling a tow to my local Mitsu but they’re no help since the car is moded.
Sounds like the sensor for the boost gauge just wasn't hooked up, start there.

I don't believe so. You'd need to know if any of the turbo's components interfere with the rest of the engine parts. Some times minor adjustments need to be made (trimming, rerouting) to accommodate the turbo. You can't tell if you assemble it with the engine removed.
