Beautiful setup bro, great to see youngster like ourselves doing this stuff,I just bought a 19ft allterrain coupled to my wildtrack, due to covid it's been sitting for 2 weeks, can't wait for our 1st trip.
Now that's a great setup. Lotus vans have been my choice for a long time and just love the Y62, you are making me very jealous there. If and when you do the west coast, must drop into Exmouth, love to catch up and check out your rig. Enjoy your travels, I'm sure you are.
Great video & van set-up with a lot of planning & thought into all the mod's & design including the suspension & timber rack on the back that a lot of people don't have but makes a big difference when & where you can have an open fire & need timber! Noticed your camp chair's looked awesome too! Could you forward some details if possible? Have been looking for some sturdy chairs that are comfortable & can handle a little more weight! Many thanks & safe travels enjoying your new rig & van!

Yeah mate love it! Helped so many of my massage clients! We now travel full time and replaced both our incomes! Hell yeah that is amazing mate! Thanks for watching the video!
Take my word for it after having vans for over 15 years your are over in the ball weight. Go over a weight bridge with full tanks and see where you stand.
No mate, the van was made knowing we were putting a 100kg bike on the front, 200kg ball weight, with the bike and water fully loaded etc it would of only added 50-70kg if that. Well under our weights mate but thank you for your concern.
Vans nowadays are a hell of a lot better designed when it comes to weight distribution. Being 17’6 twin axle it would be very well balanced. As long as the tow car can handle it you’re better off with more on the ball then less anyway.
@@calleacrazy0 awesome! We are in Queensland at the moment and drove past it I reckon! If you have any more questions, follow us on insta and just message us ☺️

Just wondering, whats the van tow weight fully loaded, with bike on the draw bar and water tanks full. Ready for a month off grid? And do you know the ball weight? (Magic rig by the way, living vicariously)
Is the TARE standard for this size caravan? I have a Triton so am restricted to a max of 3T (3.1T). Is there something that is near that size with a lower TARE ?
Na mate we added quite a few extras, each van is usually different, a standard 17'6 is usually around the 2.5 2.6 tonne tare, you have the 16'9 single axles too which are lighter. Go on Freestyle RV website if you like mate there is a tonne of info on there. Cheers!

Hey mate! We haven’t done as extreme dust with the carafan as we had with the DRS yet, but so far mate I am definitely going to say the Carafan is a better option!
