    top work mr lama, should be called eEurobike I get the feeling watching these that the bicycle is relegated to the domain for only the fit and healthy and there aren't many of us leftđŸ€Ł re the nose glasses we've all had a mate in Oz with skin cancer and the source can be the nose, so kudos to the glasses, in fact my ride mate has had 2, 3 skin crafts on his nose and these were what I suggested as protection. I hope you're getting to the tour to watch some cycling.

      I just purchased one for my brother rather than wait for him to get around to making the decision. The Garmin Varia is one of the best designed devices I’ve ever seen, and the single most valuable electronic edition to a bicycle you can make.

    I ride in the Desert. I see many white noses covered with either Titanium Dioxide or Zinc Oxide. The new glasses remove the need to use that or a nose cover.

    while the SCION glasses look horrible from a UV protection standpoint its an excellent idea. the nose gets tons of rays in summer while sunscreen gets wiped of often within the first minutes of riding

    Thanks for showing the SON light and hub. The SON lights and hubs have been a standard for night riders for more than a couple decades and to see an integrated battery addresses a significant complication in using the generator for other devices.

    Apparently the nose garage was designed for the spring classics to protect from rainwater on the nose fogging up the glasses, Groenewegen just wore them at the tour cause he felt like it!

    I just waxed my chain for the first time using the Silca wax kit and it was easy and worth it for me. Great solution that's purpose built. Cheers from Southern California đŸ»

    Hi @gplama, just built a bike with Ltwoo Erx ('yellow version'). In the app you can change the continues shifting from slow, med all the way to fast. Another cool feature is that you can toggle the setup to be 10, 11 or 12 speed.

    I have the ltwoo e-gr groupset on my gravel bike. You can choose the speed of changes when you hold the lever button in the app. Looks like they used the slow mode for the show.
    I went from a SRAM apex 1x to the ltwoo, and the shifts are way better. Very impressed. Only annoying thing is you can't configure the buttons (yet) to go SRAM style or control a computer.

    8:40 Alex Dowsett did a video using Body Rocket, from memory. If it doesn't ruin the ride, it can basically tell you during a TT if you are optimising your position or not. Assuming you can see the info in a fugue of lactic burn.

    Room for the tt bars on the new pro handle bar, just what I wanted to know, thanks Shane. Maybe in my purchasing future. I’m using a round bar because I can’t get a compatible one piece with clip on options, and I don’t want the wing look that those di2 buttons hide on the pro.

    Correcting assumptions with better information is a process of baby steps. Congrats on the baby steps made on the bike radar front. Next up: actually talking to Campy to get facts on that "downward spiral".
    Is Favero not there? Are they gonna put the new power meter axle in an SPD-SL compatible pedal?

      I surprised that after launching new wheels, a lower end gravel group, and a power meter in the last few months that Campag didn’t bother coming. They’ve taken themselves out of the conversation entirely.

    One thing I've not seen much of is aero bars for aero road bars. Many have a very narrow centre that has no space for round clips. Relatively niche but a lot of triathletes use road bars. Flat bars aren't standard of course but some kind of cushioned adapter, or multiple adaptors like for seat tubes and lights/radar is an option?

      Radar is the single most useful road cycling device. It is more useful than a head unit, though of course you would pair it with one, more useful than a heart rate monitor, More useful than a power meter, More useful than electronic shifting, and more useful than lights. It is more useful because it is more likely to save your life.

    problem with Bryton and so many other Asian computer manufacturers s that they focus 95% of strategy on selling more and more physical units and 5% on app/customer support etc, if they could redress the balance even slightly they would be on a winner! LTWOO had a tt electronic gruppo in Shanghai,any sign of that?

    I can't believe the UCI banned the nose cover on the glasses. They think it is important to be the fashion police? If so then why don't they ban black socks and brown bib shorts?

      Playing the devil’s advocate, maybe they’re concerned with the safety of them in a crash. What if that nose section was to dislodge and insert itself into the riders eye? Maybe they have justifiable reasoning based on these being ‘untested’.

      I see your point Shame. Projectiles can still be harmless regardless of where they come from but at the same time we have these ungodly “TT” helmets with weird ear fairings and other stuff running amok that can act as projectiles.
      Nose cone tech is already widely tested and applied in glacial settings so I think they should be allowed for people’s safety against skin cancer.

      @@gplama interesting. They attended the National Cycling Show at the NEC here in Birmingham a few weeks back. The National Cycling Show is a pretty small affair (and getting smaller every year). The main attraction, as you might guess, was the bank of Zwift Rides they had available to try (which I did - and loved it).

      @@andrewbolton8611 There's nothing that compares to Eurobike / Sea Otter / etc in Australia. The handmade bike shows in Melbourne that were on recently would be the closest, at about 1/100th the size of this show. Worth attending if you're in Melbourne. Not really worth an interstate trip for.
