I’m getting plant-mom Lisa Kudrow vibes & absolutely living for it. Also I love that you’re not using a “special soil” bc my grandmother never did, & hers were always stunning- I don’t seem to have this luck😑
I came here seeking information on what to do with my propagated succulents after they sprout roots/pups and I found this refreshing, REAL, down-to-earth lady with a sense of humor ta’ boot. Thank you for the laughs. Oh! And the info. And thank you for not having loud, annoying background music! 👍🏼 🪴 😁
I just came across this video, being the first one to actually match the information I was actually looking for as far as transplanting the forming baby-succulents/next steps of propegation... And ended up just dying laughing in my chair a little because I am 100,000% this type of Plant-Mom and your energy just resonated in me. Losing it when you say the same things as I do like "Teeny Tiny Itty Bitty" in the same voice. Thank you for your great video. 😊 Your puppy is beautiful. ❤️
I enjoyed this so much! I just love your sense of humor and please do a video of potting the propagated ones and when you know when to as mine are all growing quite well but still attached to the mother leaf/petal 😂❤
You are much more diligent in your placement than I. I tend to just throw the little guys in random pots. I just bought a very interesting succulent that I need to transplant so, good timing with your video. There are so many interesting varieties. I keep most of mine outside during the summer. I live in Idaho so I put some in the house and some in the garage when it starts freezing. Many of them winter over just fine but most won't tolerate the single digits. Thanks Lou. I really enjoy your videos.
I have just recently tried to propagate my little babies from leaves, not sure what I was doing, so thanks for your video...you have a great personality and made me laugh...
You my dear are so funny! I have the same humor - ha! Love this. Thank you for sharing your succulent journey! 👏🏼❤️ I am going to get that terrarium tool set now, so thanks for that! Haha
Thank you, it was helpful watching this. I’m just starting out and looking for very basic ideas on growing and propagating succulents, and from what I’ve come to understand so far, it really isn’t hard at all. The little plants do a lot of work on their own to get started.
I have planted roses and different types of bushes around my fence and i did the same in a small area in the middle of my yard. now I want to get rid of all the plants from the middle of my yard. I am sad that I wasted time on that hobby then spending time with my kids.
Hey Lou! I would love to propagate some of my succulents. How did you remove the petals/leaves? I see that at first you clip them off with scissors, but when you remove each individual leaf, do you pluck with your fingers or cut with scissors??? Thanks in advance. 🙂
Mad Rian gently work the leaves off with your fingers. Make sure to get the entire leaf or it will have less chance of propagating. I usually twist it back and forth until it comes off. Then just set them on a thin layer of soil or in the same pot that you took the leaf from so you know which plant it is. Once you see roots, start to mist them every few days but don’t soak them.
Subscribed! I'd really love it if maybe you could introduce yourself! I'm not sure if maybe you do now as this video is old! But loved the video regardless☺
Seriously love your humor!! Propagate, ovulate, master...😂 killer content with snarky undertones. I. Am. Here. For. It!!!!
I all most died laughing when she said that lol

If you’ve seen the price of succulents in a garden centre, you know this is a great idea.

I can't wait to see them in a month or so. Great video bombing there, Jax... Have a magnificent day, Lou! xoxo
Although my propengating days are LONG over, I enjoyed the video. Nice dog cameo "walk on"
They will look fabulous. Just my trick; use a coffee filter at the bottom so the soil holds better. Love your channel advice.

Your dry Bill Murray humor is awesome ha!
How deep did you fill the soil . Your great!
Can you put those outside or when you propagate them, is it best to keep them inside for the first few months?

What's the ID of these succulents?
Especially the "leggy" one
You're too funny. Can you show us what it looks like a couple months later?
How often do you water newly propagated succulents? Thanks!
