I got my 18i about a month after duck season(Utah) closed, my first semi auto shotgun. I had the gun for two days when I got a call to hunt snow geese with some friends and it blew me away! Top notch performance literally right out of the box! Hope you love it!
I have a Marocchi Super Start Super Magnum best gun I ever had, pretty similar to the Weatherby they could be twins but it comes at a lower price perhaps because is not as popular but it never fails me.

I love my Stoeger M3000. That Weatherby looks like a fine looking shotgun though.
Shot a benelli supernova until last season. Switched to a Super Black Eagle 3. Love that gun. Hope I wont ever need another gun.
I have been using a Supper X one for 50+ years and I broke down and got a Supper X 4 two years ago because two and three quarter inch shells are getting hard to come buy .I have had no male functions with it .I love it so far.
Nice looking shotgun. As far as gas guns go, SX3 SX4 are so soft shooting and i only clean them once a year with no mis-fires
I shoot a Franchi affinity 3. Love it! Shoulders perfect every time and super clean. All the things your pointing out in the video. Nobody feels recoil when shooting at ducks…
Great looking gun, Elliot. I bought a SBE 3 12 gauge last season, has run flawlessly with even light target loads. It was my dream gun and it’s been a dream to shoot, the Charles Daly I had for 20 years was having issues so it was time for a new gun. I can relate to the jamming and clicks, that sucks when the ducks are dropping in, so happy for you getting a new gun.
Beretta a400 12 guage..and Beretta a 300 ultima 20 Guage..gas guns love them bullet proof . I also use winchester super x 3 inch a d 3.5 love them no issues
Gotta get a aftermarket choke and video the pattern the factory vs aftermarket
Nice looking gun. I enjoy my maxus 2 gas gun for the softer recoil.
Broke med student, so I am rocking a basic Benelli Nova 12.
What's not to love? Durable polymer, cycles any load I put in it, magazine selector to clear chamber without emptying the magazine, easy to clean, and cheap enough I don't mind getting it dirty and beating it up.
Love to get a Franchi Affinity someday though

Benelli M2 20 gauge this year, I've been shooting the 12 gauge for over a dozen years.
I bought a retay last season and absolutely love that gun

I got a Weatherby Element last year. Didn't fit right out of the box for some reason. Had to adjust using the shims and I finally think I got it shooting good. Other than that I love everything else about it.
Now you gotta get the Weatherby Sorix

Thanks for the review does look nice.. Stoeger m3500 is my gun and with Carlson extended chokes it does pretty good. Hopefully we'll get some more rain to have water here in Texas for the left- overs you miss (lol). Thanks and have a Blessed season.

I'm now shooting a Weatherby Element. Shot Nova up till last year. Looking forward to this teal season!
I started with a 20ga youth sized mossberg 500, then stepped up to a 12 Remington 870 express, and now have an Escort 12 magnum semi. Never felt like the high end guns fit me well straight out of the box like the cheap to mid priced ones do. So don't really have much of a dream rig haha but happy with what I've got !
I’m glad they fit you. My beretta a300 never fit me very well
I have a Remington v3 waterfowl pro shotgun I love it this will my 3rd season with it
I currently own a Remington 870 Express Super Mag in 12 gauge but I would not mind owning either the Weatherby 18 i deluxe or Franchi Affinity in 20 gauge. One of the new Montefeltros from Benelli would'nt be bad either.
Well good luck with the gun weatherby has been around for quite a long time and has a good reputation I think you'll enjoy the gun I sure hope so I'm surprised you're going number three though but each gun's different my Remington 1100 for some reason three's didn't pattern very good but number four is work great
I put a Surecycle oversize bolt release on my 18i just order for a SBE III as they are the same. Also have a Patternmaster Anaconda Long Range choke in for ducks, I put in the Anaconda Black Mamba in for Geese.
Why would I need that?

I am getting one. It's a gift. I know your doing water fowl. But, the question I have is. Is it safe to use larger loads? Like buck or slugs? I'm not a water fowler or big into skeet. I deer, and elk usualy. I am currently using a mossburg 500 18.1 inch. With slug and magnum buck. Should I take up skeet and waterfowl? I love shooting sports and hunting. I also feel there is no such thing as a safe queen. If it is not used, sell it and get something to use.

Kinda funny yrs ago you were bragging on the A300 maybe clean or replace the spring in the stock
I enjoyed shooting the A300 but over time there were just too many misfires.
So the 18i is the newest version right? & shoots 3 1/2

I have been shooting an A400 unico for going on 6 years now and have had very few issues. However last year I picked up an a Benelli sbe 3 I liked it but not as good as gas guns. This year I got the Browning maxus 2. Guess I just love 12 gauge shotguns. Plan on using all three at different times. I would say I already have several dream shotguns lol. What happened to shooting boss shells?

I love the weatherby but the bolt pin Flys out all the time
Weatherby is made in turkey and all their previous shotguns have been cut of out production relatively quickly. Seems like a paid promotion to me.
Element is made in Turkey, but the 18i is made in Italy.
