I live in Rogers in NWA, 44, and I'm disabled. Normally I overland, but I've decided it's time to stop living in fear of my disability, and time to start doing the things I used to love when I was much younger. I'm currently planning to make the full Sylamore hike, and am glad I found your videos. I definitely subbed and will watch many more!

Using a scoop cup makes easier to fill those dumb bags. I use a cut off water bottle and keep the bag and other water extras in it when its stowed. If you find the right one it will fit on the bottom of your water bottle and it won't take any extra room.

Just found you and subbed. Looks like a really cool park to hike in and the fall colors looked great. Good luck on your 2021 thru hike. I'll be following along and commenting on the way. I'm thru hiking in 2022 it's been a 6 year count down and can't wait so I know you must be getting super excited!!!

Great video!! You should look at replacing your Sawyer bag with a CNOC Outddoors bag. They have a much wider opening. I learned this from Darwin. He also supports CNOC Outdoors because they give back to public lands! Best 15 bucks I ever spent!! 🙂

@@kellyhays23 I usually hate people that criticize gear but after wrestling with those damn Sawyer bags for a few trips I just luckily stumbled on a video with the CNOC bags. They work so nice with a Sawyer Squeeze!

@@kellyhays23 Would you believe I found on Facebook marketplace a lightly used Crescent Ultralite Kayak (blue), equipped with deck pads, fishing rod holder, and a cup holder and for a very good price. Haven’t gotten on the water yet, but soon. Now to get a paddle! Any paddle suggestion?
