Holy cow thats a lot of people! Cicadas are the same here on the river I live on. If you ever pass through northern IL hit me up and I can take you out on the river behind my house. Far less rapids than that one but a nice river to paddle none the less. You are welcome to camp in your van on our lane as well.

I haven't read the comments on here yet, but on your window, the bottom weep holes looked to be plugged. The top holes should be plugged and the bottom should be open. Hope this helps if you see it!

Actually working on planing a short packrafting trip on the Buffalo. Park at a trailhead near river access. Hike part of the Buffalo River trail. Float back down to my car.

Wow! I was impressed by all the trails you have hiked, and equally more impressed about how you handled those threats you received. I can't even imagine how a person wraps their head around getting death threats for just posting videos about hiking adventures. Some people on this planet are pretty weird. Sorry to hear you had to go through all that stress. Glad you are still posting vids about your adventures and have found a way to handle that weirdness. That's pretty effed up.

Hey Kelly, I enjoyed your trip down the Buffalo River. This river is on my radar, but for a Trout fishing/camping trip. I saw Curt Gowdy on a TV series back in the mid 1960 fish that river.

Omg this brings back memories of my thru hike on the Buffalo River Trail! Most beautiful place! I agree though, the drive in and out of Kyle’s Landing is definitely not for the faint of heart 😂

Public posting up your life will get crazies making threats but it's always empty. It's so easy to get someone to change what they're doing by threats sitting in a chair fantasizing about that. And police! They will tell you to do the most expedient thing which is to stop and hide. If you give in those cowardly bullies win! Be stealthy and carry something!

I can't get over the amount of people there! We're probably a bit spoiled here in Australia with the small population, but even on holiday long weekends you'd never see that kind of crowd at a river.

Eh, I hate restaurants. Supporting all that overhead and the infrastructure! I like a can of good wild sardines and chili sauce, chiciones and asagio cheese wedge for like $3. Just tip money for a 15$ high carb doober. Siesta is ok. Love Beach FL is much better. Clear caribe water and few people. My base is port Charlotte no beach

Heck yea! We tried to get a spot out there this weekend but it was all booked! But we did end up reserving a campsite at White Rock Mountain and floating the Mulberry river. Arkansas is a beautiful place

I've floated the Ouachita, Mulberry and Caddo rivers but the Buffalo is definitely on the top of my floating bucket list...we have an embarrassment of riches here in Arkansas, I'm glad you're showing the world what's up!
