    You have a nice accurate swing. It looks like tulip poplar. That's what I would use simply because it's an abundant source of straight timber in my area.

      Thank you! Keen eye friend. It is tulip. Large logs. A little soft, but they will be covered so it will work out nicely.

    Awesome footage! I just ordered a broad axe. It's flat on the left side. I've been dreaming of building a dovetail cabin in Alaska when I retire

    Get the sound and action in sync, sound should not be heard before the axe hits

      Not quite sure on that. There does seem to be a slight delay on the log scoring section, but not the rest of the vid. I'll see what I can do about that in future vids. Thanks for the critique.
