Plateup is if overcooked and cooking mama meshed together and made a roguelike, you create a restaurant as a group and have to survive to your 15th day. If a single customer is un happy, the whole restaurant closes down.

I was lucky I decided to fast forward to the point of only rare steaks a few minutes in, but found myself at the end the video... then legit confused, i went to check title, then thumb nail, and now I'm here.. but I'm not upset. Just shedding some light

It takes serious comedic skill to make 'bad comedy' itself a funny skit. Just like one of the most difficult roles for an actor is playing a bad actor or impostor. Props to you, itsgng! Maybe Skootie shouldn't leave you alone like that... or maybe he should do it more often...
I find that cooking alot of rare steaks at the beggining helps cause if they want medium or well-done you can jsut reheat the rare steaks and let it cook more
Best is actually medium.
Reason:
1º you have a storage of medium
2º need to heat for 1 stage to well
3º from raw to rare is also heat for 1 stage
While in your solution you get
- storage of rare
-heat 2 stages for well
-heat 1 stage to medium
this is not accounting for display stand.
Hey Skoottie! Just started watching your channel cause of your plateup videos!! I like how detailed you are with your runs.
As far as I'm aware, you have to plate the dishes that go on the display stand. Could be wrong, but that's what I've always done and I've noticed a significant difference
Yes, the wiki says that you have to place anything that can be served to customers for it to have an effect. For example you could place plated food or icecream. I'm not sure if they will order the same flavor of icecream as the displaystand though.
I've never liked steak but never once did I think about display stands, that's genius lmao

As far as I can tell pretty much everything is based on the seed except blueprint tables. With rerolls, they will always be the same as long as you have the same blueprints when you reroll. If you buy one one round, and then reroll, those will be different than if you had all five, it won't just be missing one. But again, if you purchase the same one every time, it will always be the same/different. If that makes sense.
The results of Upgrade tables aren't seeded, either. I've managed to save scum for a more pertinent upgrade before (wanted a Conveyor Mixer instead of a Heated Mixer for my pie automation. The latter renders it useless, former saves me a grabber).
@@genericfakename4372 I actually thought they were, but right when you said this I went to go test a round, and for the first time my research table didn't upgrade properly... I can't believe I was getting so lucky until now, it happened like 10 times in a row :O

If you throw away the research desk after buying a copying desk you have increased chances of getting another research desk of which you can copy, buy, and research the original to get discount or blueprint desks faster. Optimally you would've thrown out the research desk day 4, before you had enough money to buy the copying desk so that the next day you could buy copy desk and have the increased odds for the research desk to tuck into the blueprint cabinet for copying.

How do you get the blueprints to always spawn at the front? I see that in all the youtubers for this, but whenever I play, they seem to always spawn in some nebulus 'near where you were when day starts`, which turns managing kitchen an annoying puzzle of moving around appliances and blueprints.
There's a setting you can turn on to have them spawn outside. C:

The Starter Hob is .75x
The Safety Hob is .75x
The Standard Hob is 1.0x
The Danger Hob is 2.0x (I think)
So starter is just worse than safety

how do you get the blueprints to show up outside? that's so much better than scattered everywhere.

In settings under Game> Drop letters outside

the dirty plates will appear on the table with the number above it (it's the last table that's put down when the tables are connected) so in their first attempt the plates were not appearing on the table that had the smart grabber attached until the correct table was picked up and put back down again
