- A Houston man has spent a month in the hospital and had to have his limbs amputated all because of one flea bite. His family spoke with FOX 26's Sherman Desselle about the scary ordeal. He was more on what happened and how to prevent the scary ordeal.

I’ve sprayed my yard, house, dog and myself several times. These Texas fleas are persistent. I thought I had it rough with always scratching and itching at my ankle where they have bit me.
