They've had plenty of time to get him the "help" he needs. Rather than doing such, they enabled this now adult. Thus, any assertions related to help, care, or concern are BS. They are trying to play the sympathy card as to enable him to avoid accountability... which has obviously been a long standing issue with this young man. They assert he has the mentality of a 6 year old. A 6 year old who behaves like that should be introducted corporal punishment by the parents such, said behavior is never seen as an option... like they used to do when I was a kid. Autism is one of the many things which fell under the label Mentally Retarded. Just a couple decades ago, the Paremts/handlers were respondsible and they laid out expectations, with measurable ramifications for lack of adhearance. A 6 year old knows right from wrong, acceptable and unacceptable. I know folks who have such individuals in their family, those individuals behave because such was a defined expectation and rules were enforced from early childhood... like with any other child. That "mother" is a prime example as to why we have many of todays problems.
I don’t care about that autism excuse. You cant be brutally assaulting a school officials like its all good. You just can’t because there are consequences for things like that. Idc what the adopted mother says, you can’t be doing that…PERIOD!!!!!
He will definitely learn the hard way in prison way worse. His mom definitely is so ignorant! Playing the race card and denying her son’s crime! She never apologized to the victim! But making her son a victim! He will never own up to his own choices and would never take responsibility and no accountability!😡
3:50 so if he gets triggered by something then he can almost murder someone and it's ok bc others didn't adapt to gis violent nature.. if he's that dangerous then keep him in prison
He definitely needs consequences but it is also clear that he has issues. His sentence was 5 years in prison and 15 years probation ina group home, my question is why not sentence him to the group home in the first place? He definitely needs to be in a controlled environment but prison may not be the solution.
So you think he deserves only assistance in a "controlled environment".........no punishment? No punishment for attempted murder? Run for office; the Democratic Lib'tards will LOVE you.
Because prison serves more than one purpose. You’re so focused on rehabilitation that you’re ignoring the other three purposes of imprisonment. Separation from society for the safety of law abiding citizens, justice for the victims, and punishment for the convicted. Those group home staff are no more equipped than the teacher he almost killed. Justice for that teacher is not found in a group home. Punishment for that man is not found in that group home.
There is no way you could home school this kid, he would not listen to his mom period. My grandson is autistic and has some aggression, he is on meds and intense therapy , but he needs more then i can give him . Takes a village to raise these kids and i am one person, i can not do it alone
Those school employees deferred to the student and didn't pull him off of the teacher fast enough, like they didn't want to hurt his feelings. Then they were more concerned with comforting him than helping the injured teacher.
Maybe they'll be special circumstances to where he gets the help he needs. wrong is wrong and especially you know what you're doing you can't blame disorders on every decision that you make even though it may play a intricate role but not in every scenario.

You notice how all of a sudden he's not having some mental outbreak when he's in the courtroom I know he's handcuffed but he's not trying to act crazy and violent now because he knows it's severe consequences involved if he attacks the judge
Autism is real! Help is needed! Jail
Is not the place. And if that’s what it is.. he needs help in there. He said it don’t matter if you have autism you know right from wrong.. maybe some…but does he know what autism is?! Smh this world! Prayers for both parties!
Thuggish behavior needs be done away with
They've had plenty of time to get him the "help" he needs.
Woman stop giving the kid a pass. That kid became a adult that day and guess what if that was you teaching and that same kid did you like that.
Is not the school ….is the mother false
The guy on the panel needs to stay away from kids period.
SPEAK THE TRUTH!!.AMEN! AMEN AMEN
His IEP behavior Plan was not followed. It was escalated by removal of his switch it's not a game console to him it's a pacifier.
He will definitely learn the hard way in prison way worse. His mom definitely is so ignorant! Playing the race card and denying her son’s crime! She never apologized to the victim! But making her son a victim! He will never own up to his own choices and would never take responsibility and no accountability!😡
Just 5 years ? 10 years min with at least 25 years of paper.
He will do fine behind bars. Five years will pass rather quickly so he will have time to mature.
3:50 so if he gets triggered by something then he can almost murder someone and it's ok bc others didn't adapt to gis violent nature.. if he's that dangerous then keep him in prison
Why allow people like him to be in our schools???
cause not everywhere has a school designed for people with special needs.
Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent.
-Adam Smith
He definitely needs consequences but it is also clear that he has issues. His sentence was 5 years in prison and 15 years probation ina group home, my question is why not sentence him to the group home in the first place? He definitely needs to be in a controlled environment but prison may not be the solution.
Definitely not prison. So sad
So you think he deserves only assistance in a "controlled environment".........no punishment? No punishment for attempted murder?
Run for office; the Democratic Lib'tards will LOVE you.
he's going to get picked up by a gang or cartel. with his size and underdeveloped brain...
They would sent him to group home if he was getting disability but the judge denied it
Because prison serves more than one purpose.
Whelp he will definitely miss Switch 2, new mario games new zelda games. Now it turned to NEVER coming out.
He straight tackled her like she was a safety on the football team.
All those people that just stood there and let him do that before finally doing something astounds me.
Dude clearly had an advantage physically
Stop making excuses for people this is what happens
he needs way more than 5 years...
You can not attack other people, straight to jail… Period. Parents Parents parents
There is no way you could home school this kid, he would not listen to his mom period. My grandson is autistic and has some aggression, he is on meds and intense therapy , but he needs more then i can give him . Takes a village to raise these kids and i am one person, i can not do it alone
Good sir:tell them the truth about the mother not showing this kid no dicipline …mother not rather been in TikTok and dating app
“The school district failed him”
LADY YOUR SON IS NOT THE VICTIM
That kid has been getting his way his whole life
I saw the Marine take his sweet time getting to help the teacher.
I noticed that, too.
The mother should be charged
Yes, always play the autism card...
“It’s a spectrum” 😂😂😂🤦🏽♂️
@@ZpapM92 I know that, and no matter where thier kid is on it, they yank out that card....
Hate crime. Cause the guy needed more time. Autism is not a badge to allow people to attack at will.
True
It looks like he still mad about it.
Well he will be happy when the prisoners take there joystick back after playing all night with him
Why would he even bring up the parents being charged?
Those school employees deferred to the student and didn't pull him off of the teacher fast enough, like they didn't want to hurt his feelings. Then they were more concerned with comforting him than helping the injured teacher.
I have two kids with Autism he really doesn’t knows better the whole system failed him
Disgusting
It’s the parents that failed him not the school
Maybe they'll be special circumstances to where he gets the help he needs. wrong is wrong and especially you know what you're doing you can't blame disorders on every decision that you make even though it may play a intricate role but not in every scenario.
Wow there's a lot of Bots leaving comments on this 🤔
While watching the video and saw another teacher walked pass the brutal attack on the teacher's aid and didn't nothing to stopping him. 😢😢
Should have gotten 20 years minimum
funny how 1 black dude was hiding at the back didn’t even hesitate to help.
Kid should have life sentence for that
That might just be THE most ignorant statement I have ever heard. Congratulations!
Excuses.
He needs to be in there for the 5 years
The system failed both of them. If he has a known violent behavior problem it should have been addressed especially because of his size. 😢
Mother protecting her pay check
Good for that dad! "I would've given him 10 years!"
My 24 y.o. ,200 lbs son, is autistic (Asperger's). He knows right-from wrong.
All I heard from the attorney was excuses. And to pull the race card. When someone doesn't agree with your feelings or your opinion your racist. SMH.
The mother had to put that kid in a group home because he was so violent.
Damn first lady to get there lacked courage … that was tough to watch
Well this was a flagrant conversation for sure. No matter how you feel about it lol
