Yes, the only reason "Old World" is back is due to TWWH. Ran a local game store ages ago, and even with 8 army books coming out in a year, no one wanted to play.
Reddit can complain about AoS all day but clearly it was more fun because it sold better.

Also if you want to try a fun little meme game where you have to helplessly live with consequences of your bad decisions Mechabellum is a great strategic autobattler. Highly recommended for sore hand days.
Mechabellum is pretty fun. I only play vs. AI, but it's got both nice visuals, quickly resolved battles, and surprisingly deep gameplay.

I've been watching Turin since he had 10k subs... hundreds and hundreds of hours into warhammer 1 and 2. But i don't know if I'm just getting older or what. But Warhammer 3 I just can't get into it. I always listen to Turins tournaments because his community and commentary is pure gold... but i think Warhammer has been put out to pasture for me, which is sad. Just waiting for age of warhammer rts play style.
Grail Knights had an extremely unfavourable engagement against some of the most expensive cavalry in the game (Entourage) and still knocked them down to 40% or so health. So strong!
The bret player threw all of his cav away, it was painful to watch esp. when you consider he's top 10 on the ladder

Around 30 minutes in you mentioned how you weren't sure about how worth it tutorial videos about army picking for Total Warhammer 3 and how you weren't sure how useful they would be. I understand that they would be tricky and time consuming(especially if it's videos all done by you), but I can say that as much as you can pick things up from just watching videos there is still a barrier to entry from just being uncertain about how to start.
Yeah maybe a 5 to 10 minute intro video could be nice, just to showcase how tournies work, how you join in and so. Nothing too long, just a short explanation video.
@@tobiasL1991 I think one on the mindset of picking an army would be a great video. Probably your most useful asset is your approach and understanding of your army and your opponents.
A big problem with army building as a noob is that you have to know what the enemy faction has and does to competently make your army for your faction in different matchups, that said having a "basline what is good at what quantities for each faction" would be a god send for new players.
Another thing would be a video on "what this faction's gameplan is and what you can bring to counter it" for each faction, though I imagine that would be long winded
CA could make this into a multiplayer evergreen with a little effort. I hope they get their shit together.

You should do an Old World Mod PvP Empire campaign. Maybe an undead player, Chaos and Empire for a 3 way battle? Mod is great though.
I don't remember the other Wood Elf guy, but the two guys who play WE MP routinely are so good. And with my favourite faction!!

I’d love to see a random faction and random army comp. I feel like we see the same meta builds every game. With randomly generated armies, it actually shows the players skill and how they adapt! Would be really fun to

Ever since the patch that added the new units to Kislev the game crashes before it even really launches. I've updated my gameready driver a few times, did a full reinstall and still the game crashes. Anyone have any ideas

Man, I was an AVID viewer of all your TWW2 MP tourneys and replays, I watched everyone of them for like 4 years…but man, it’s just not as interesting to watch anymore without the “Big Four” of Aerocrastic, Felkon, Soothsayer, and Enticity. Not only from a talent level, they were the S-tier of WH PvP, but they were also great for the community, with the podcasts from Aeroand streams from Enticity. Feels like the MP scene lost a lot of juice when players that talented stopped playing.
Such is life brother, nothing lasts forever!

I agree to a certain extent but there are new players who have emerged who are incredibly fun to watch! Turin himself- one of the best, Subotai, house plant and cat, Tim the W, many good players on twwh 3, fun to watch.

@@MrDantjleMy impression was some of them preferred land battle....then others maybe didn't feel that way but we're affected by the splintering of community since the change drove certain ppl away and they were missed maybe making it less fun for some.

I wish Vampire Coast had some better capture weight options! They really just dont have enough of a balanced roster for dom... no cavalry, no mid-tier standard infantry

All the comments about tww just being different now - i honestly think the switch to domination has more to do with it than we realize. Its the mp mode we asked for, solving all the old quirks that were hard to regulate, but it just doesnt carry the same mood that good ol fashioned land battles brought. Loose win conditions allowed for an infinite variety in army comp and tactics that you just cant use with objective-focused matches. The further out we get from "the golden age" of tww content, the more i miss land battles
At either rate, just happy turin still has anything to do with tww

Man hearing the channel progress and this game get old is really sad. Talking about "not buying servers now with lottery money maybe a year ago" and VC being the peak, or in other videos wondering when support will stop. I've been here since TW1 man. Since you'd run foot/horse Empire lords to avoid getting double terrorgheist sniped. Hearing about gobbo king, remembering "ninjahund" coming into chat hahaha. What a blast to th past.
