My camera has been broken for almost three years and when I took it to Canon they offered to fix it for $300!! Thanks to you, I was able to fix my camera within an hour. Thank you sooo much!!! Also, the screws for the camera need a PH000 screwdriver incase any one is looking for an affordable screwdriver kit.
OMG, THANK YOU so much, i have fixed my camera!!!! It took me ages and some of the micro screws were not coming off, but I was a little forceful. But most importantly my camera is now fully functional thanks to you.
Really great step by step tutorial. I accidentally dropped my camera while filming and it ripped about a millimeter in the ribbon. The camera still works fine and nothing is physically broken on it but it just doesn't show anything when I turn it on. Its still recording perfectly and everything works well just has a black screen. I'm wondering if replacing the ribbon will fix the issue or maybe its needing to be replaced on the interior. Hoping to give this video a go but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions- please let me know!
Question before i buy a whole new one. My screen detached completely and no screws at all but the lens is also stuck outward even when charge battery and turn on to turn off to get lens in without the screen it doesn’t go back in. is this bc of the screen detached and once fixed lena will go in? and if so, can i fix my detached screen if it completely detached without screw and all?

Hi I have cannon g7x mark ii and using USB charger it is not charging...soon as I plugged in orange light comes on for 3 seconds on the side of camera and light goes off...have tried different USB cables still the same and camera won't charge...any ides? Thanks

I spent 3 hours doing this and it didn’t work, no idea what I’ve done wrong 😭 I’ll try again tomorrow and see if I didn’t clip the flex cable in right not sure though thought I did

me too. I am going to try again but it took me 3 hours.. I will try just check if the flex cable is clipped in right on both ends so annoying though :(
Hey all! I'm hoping to attempt this, however the Camera I have seems to turn on BUT when turning off the lens won't close and the power light flashes. It tries to close, immediately pops back out with the power flash. Thoughts? PLEASE let me know if yours had a similar issue and powered down normally. I'm hoping it's a normal response when the screen is not functioning. Thank you!

Gabe Tran damn that’s suck. Richie should have at least give you that channels since you the one that did most the vids. Your Datsun content was good. Should just post update or mods on it on this channel. Start your own car channel like illiminate 👍
