BRO when i type cd desktop it literally just says cannot find the path specified

You have to make sure you are in the "user" sub-directory which contains "Desktop" directory "Cd" (change directory) dos command can only go to a directory that's within the one you are currently. Co you can't go "cd desktop" when you are in your root directory, you'd have to go go in the sub-directory that contains "desktop" .

My desktop is set to my d drive, and i have folders i moved from c to d with a program, then i moved the other c drive essentially root files to d drive so now i cant move the files back because path isnt specified and nothings working:/

@@potatochipappi The problem is "desktop" is not listed in your user profile. when you paste the command, change the "desktop" to "documents". It'll save your file to Documents folder.
