In this video I have installed starlights in headliner of my XUV 5oo W8.
This project took 20 hrs from start to finish.
Power supply to light engine given from 3rd row cigarette lighter socket. Better to give supply from fuse box.

Great video brother...But you could have used normal glue instead of hot glue which could not damage the optical strand..
Thank you. This glue is setting in seconds which other glues canât. And the large diameter gun which damaged optical fiber is just for demonstration.
Mini Glue gun is best suitable for this purpose.
@@MANVIRSINGH1313 That's true but what about Super Glue...Can it be used ? Would it create any damage.?
@@sanketkadam100 according to me using super glue in this project have following disadvantages
1, It release hear when applied which may damage optical fiber.
2, I will leak out through hole and make headliner cloth wet and crystalline.
3, It will be permanent and fiber optic strand can not be removed, which I prefer.

What kind drilling bit you used? (mm)
Bro, no need to use any kind of drill and bit. You can use 1 or 1.5 mm needle to make holes in headliner

In your car there is very leas portion of headliner. So the effect will not be same in my car. You can install it in 8 inch boundaries of headliner.

No bro. There will be some idea but I think car manufacturers have done their best to maximise boot space.
How to hide controller and how full wiring is done
This part of this video is missed out by me. Actually where I have shown temporary mounting of light engine, there only I did final mount of light engine.
I have done wire tapping from the cigarette lighter socket present in last row.

In last low of car there is one cigarette lighter socket on left hand side, from there I took tapped supply. But I will recommend you to run a separate circuit from fusebox. Make sure line have dedicated fuse just immediate after tapping from fuse box.

My car is 2012 model, already out of warranty. But yes if you will do these stuffs under warranty period and something wring happens, it may void warranty.
