This was a panel of men who are oblivious to a woman's experience of having been sexually abused. Their ignorance about the experience of the abused is appalling. They ask why the victims didn't come forward sooner, they assume that people easily bring such charges, and none of these statements is questioned by the interviewer. It is hard to watch.

Dear Court TV, you need to include an expert on sexual assault who can educate folks on trauma responses to sexual violence. And if you don't then at least provide a trigger warning that all comments will be purely legal opinions and will be ignoring and ignorant of the impact of sexual coercion. All three of these "experts" questioned why it took so long for the survivors to come forward!! There is no excuse in 2024 for anyone to be uninformed about how sexual assault trauma manifests! I cannot continue watching this segment the ignorance of these men is distressing, disturbing and damaging.

No statute of limitations on sex trafficking. I see the US attorney biding his time for Combs to actually refuse to settle one of these cases. At that point, he can be compelled to give testimony because it's civil, and then the prosecutor has easy work on the criminal case.

This lawyer has no clue how the victimization of sexual assaults affect people from contacting the police or a lawyer after being sexually assaulted. Dissociation is extremely common, for example, amongst sexual assault victims. Some suppress their memories of the assault for decades. A psychologist needs to call this man and educate him as he is extremely ignorant.
I think when there is blatant video proof of a crime there should be no statute of limitations.Period.
