I like the dashboard of the 2023 model better than the 2024. I hate that they removed the word "Wrangler" from the grab handle. I would sooner buy a preowned 2019-2023 model over the new 2024.

I’ve read the bracket is there from crash safety improvement. Most people remove it when upgrading to bigger tires to improve clearance. It has to say part time 4H to differentiate from 4H Auto. If it just says 4H then you just have part time 4H. Its labeled part time because you shouldn’t use it for normal road driving situation as this locks the center differential and can cause uneven wear and damage to your tires and car parts. Hence you should only use is “part time” when in low traction area like dirt, mud, gravel, ice, off the paved road situations. However you can be in 4H auto all the time as this feature allow the jeep to sense when it has limited traction and engage 4 wheel drive on its own when it needs it and back to two wheel drive when it doesn’t need it. Hence the name “auto” because it switches automatically without input from the driver. Hope that helps.

Why is there no fully enclosed car cover version for very hot and very cold refuges, and why is there no Tipo diesel engine like the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Hardtop 2024?

In the spirit of Jeep I prefer the 1976 CJ-7. 😀

bracket is to prefent the tire/wheel from intruding into the passenger compartment in a frontal collision (I think...)

Pass on the red dash..Doesn't work with certain exterior colors.
Just got a 24 2door Ruby X 6spd with 4.88 gears.. added 35's...about as good as it gets.

24 is not better, it just looks different. You could buy 22 Rubicon souped up with all the goodies (aux switches, heated leather seats, adaptive cruise, bumpers etc), but even then - the price difference is insane. Did you get the floating rear axle thing? - the only functional novelty I like in 24.

My guess for the wheel well bracket would be for mounting a side bar step or guard??✌️ You're going to need a bigger garage soon 😊

The Rubicon and Rubicon X have different transfer cases. NP241 (Rock-Trac Part Time) vs MP3022 (Rock-Trac Full Time). The Rock Trac Full Time has clutches inside for front/back torque distribution when in 4Auto. Interesting, the 392 also has 4Auto but no 2wd (and no FAD). So, NP241 has 2WD (FAD), 4Part-Time H, 4 Part-Time Lo. The M3022 has 2WD (FAD), 4Auto (using clutches), 4Part-Time H, 4 Part-Time Lo. The '24 has full floating Dana 44 rear. The '22 has semi floating Dana 44 rear.
