hi mr build it, is there an episode this week? loving the content, I look forward to your vids and it seems like ages since you last posted, I hope you and your family are well, and look forward to your next one.
Tim has great camera presence, great at explaining his process clearly, too!
I found you over a year ago and your mantra "courage & sweat" is what gave me the courage to fix my 50+ year old dining room table. I didn't think I could do it as I have NEVER done anything like that in my life! Now I am sitting at my dining room table watching THIS video. It took me 6 weeks, but being able to finish this project helped me gain the confidence to want me to do more projects around the house. Thank you so much for your videos. I look forward to them every week! Next project, changing the tile around my fireplace! By the way, love the workshop!
I was surprised you didn’t want do your floors before you brought everything to your new place. Exciting to make it there after hard work.
If its to flip long term, its possibly the best idea to not do the garage floor. Better to wait that the house is fully done and finish with the garage floor. There is a too high chance that he will damage a new floor for no reason.
I think your gonna regret this day when you gotta move everything out again to do the floor. 😂
Just what i was thinking
😂
Now that it's a dedicated woodshop, I don't think he's gonna care about the floors anymore. A woodshop is meant to get dirty and dusty.
@@FactsBrakeStupidity he called it bougie and textured the walls of course he gonna do the floor
Need to epoxy that floor!!!
Not being able to stand up an 8 foot board would drive me insane!
Whats the plan? Are you going to Fix up the house and and move in or just use it as a workspace/ office?
Wondering the same thing
I got an idea Mr. BUILD IT
how bout maybe once a month you visit a struggling family that has gotten behind in their house repairs for no fault of their own.
Use the money your viewers are paying and you get to help others than yourself.
You'd be suprised with the views and it actually helps a family in need more importantly!
I have about the same size garage and it’s crazy how close my setup is to what you did. Just shows is the right way lol.
For everyone saying why didn't he do the floor, I'm pretty sure this is just a workshop to fix up the rest of the house so why ruin a floor for a potential buyer. He can do it right before he leaves.
This was the episode we’ve all been waiting for. Awesome
Looks great. It's always tough finding the right fit for tools and their spot. I think the walls would better like the old shop wall... black or dark gray
Holy shit, I didn't realize that it's only been 3 months. You work pretty fast for doing pretty much everything by yourself!!!!
Apoxsee floors make the garage looks so much better. Wish you would’ve done that.
Turned out great! The amount of work you put into this house so far is just amazing.
strongly recommend a side mount garage door opener to keep the space above the door free and clear
I've enjoyed your channel from day one. Congratulations on the remodeling and restoration project. Keep up the great.🤗🙋🏾♂️ work.
1. Courage and sweat
2. Ain’t nothing to it but to do it
Hearing those mantras and seeing you live by them has been super inspirational
No pressure washing, etching/sanding and epoxying the floor (or just throwing on a primer/sealant)? Was the perfect opportunity.
Only thing I think you should have done was do the floor before you moved in all the tools. But such a good job man. Looks absolutely amazing.
You might want to put a fire rated solid core door between the garage and office to meet code.
Code might be different in his area.
@@WinchesterxNL that's been standard code across the US since the 90s.
@@stevefuller7805 I wouldn't know. All I know is that across the US there's a lot of differences. Lol.
For a wide space such as the garage using a 9 inch roller is weenie roller, put a 14 in on and go to town.
Looks amazing! John Malecki should be jealous
Tim does a great job on the video. He has a good personality for it
Glad you have your own place for your workshop now! Waiting to build my own someday! Love the channel, keep up the great work!
Good to see you went the simple route of screw in panel LED lights. Those things are revolutionizing lighting solutions for garages, shops, storages over the traditional long tube lights. I remember spending hundreds on shops lights with T12 tube bulbs for my garage on my first property. Now I just wire in a few lamp holders into the ceiling and pop in these panel lights for so little money.
Please tell me youre moving that meter can and panel to the outside and put a flush mounted panel inside? With OH service its easy to do and would look so much cleaner/functional. Looking good on the shop!
This looks awesome, Alex! I’ve really enjoyed watching this series, and it turned out great! 🙌🏼
Nicely done. Would have added a winfow in the shop or maybe in the garage doors. Alao would have made the ceiling volted. As you have the head room
Super happy for you man, and super jealous of your tool kit.
Man you're not kidding about the price of double doors! Even indoor ones for closets cost quite a bit. The shop is really coming together great, I'm excited for you!
I would extend the curb whatever distance you need to fit stuff on that wall. A couple 2x4s screwed into it or extend the slab
Need more Tim!!!
You had me at dream shop and then lost me at texture in a shop. Love your work love the channel. Love the courage and sweat modo and sign
Happy birthday Mr Build it!!!
I'm glad you got your shop back, well earned brother.
That sure is a dream shop! Nice work!
Great enthusiasm, great effort i would not worry bout the floor or walls just give it a go and wait what happens in 6 months or so
Great job! That was a ton of work
Great job on the shop my man!
Great job and series
It looks amazing!!!!
Congratulations 😊 amazing hard work!
Wow looks awesome!
Man, you've worked so hard. Kudos 👏
those boats look hilarious with shorts mid summer lol
AWESOME JOB!!
TIM IS THE MAN
Love the shop
Came out amazing! When you going to epoxy that floor?!
Congrats dude - nice setup now.
I love these videos Alex so thank u so much.
If someone says u have “to many tools” they are way to negotiate be around.. boot them! 😂
Courage & Sweat baby! Great job!!
Its possible that it was already said in a previous video but I just don't recall. Was it said what was the purpose of buying the house? Was it to have an "office" at an other location then their house or the purpose was to renovate and flip the house? If its the later, this is basically the best way to have a second way to monetize the channel. Basically being paid to buy and renovate the house and make profit on the sell. Its a win win win situation. Win for him, win for us with content and win for the buyer that will have access to the best documented house renovation directory ever.
Any particular reason against from running an air ducting / dust capture system?
Love the videos man huge fan!
Looks great all your heard work paid off congratulations
Hell no! You don't have too many tools! Those words don't even belong in a sentence next to each other! Lol but what I was going to say is that concrete curb by the house entrance in your workshop/garage. You should build cabinets over that area, and you can build them where they concrete take place of your toe kick! Anyhow, just a thought brother! Can't wait to see what's next on your channel! I think building some stuff for you new shop would be pretty awesome! Jmo! Take it easy man!
That welding tank should be stood up. If the neck of it breaks that thing is going through whatever is in front of it. It’s literally a missile.
I am ASTONISHED to brought all your tools in before doing an epoxy floor. Regardless, garage lookin good so far!
Happy belated birthday!!
Mr build it here is a idea before doing the outside of your house you could build a awning for your cars to park under
Another great video keep up the good work 🏆
This is something you should be proud of doing!
I like the new guy
Good stuff mate, come up good. I'm surprised you didnt do the floors while everything was out like your last shop/shed. Is it something you'll do in the future? Don't stress about the negative shit mate, half of them probably wouldn't attempt it to start with.
Alex you didn’t seal and paint the floor. Now your going to have to move it all out again.
Super cool!
Happy Birthday young man
didn't leave room for the golf simulator....but love it!
I think it’s so dumb to have textured walls for shop. Those walls are gonna be so annoying to clean with all the dust from the wood.
he didn't think that far ahead
He typically never sees the woods from the trees.
texture is done when your drywall work is bad.
But its his shop u dopes…geez!
Looks great 😀
awesome
Textured Walls ,bad idea in a shop also you need to build some custom work benches for better use of the space.somethonk you will no doubt do in the future
Very cool work shop 👍😵
Build your shelving unit on that concrete ledge.
Love the shop..now what’s the plans for the house.
you need a fire door between the garage "shop" and living space
Glad you're painting it, and not keaving like every other home garage in the us.
i KNOW they will get dirty. but it's so stressful you didnt atleast wipe down all of your tools before putting them in that new amazing space. that said, i love it! Cant wait to see the rest of the house!
Where’s your washer and dryer going?
I think this shop is really nice but, to me your past two shops seemed better. Either way its sick though.
What are those tool holders, and where can we get them?
Looks down at his feet....
WHAT ARE THOOOOOSSSSEEEE....😂😂😂
Mate. Where's the fridge?! Can't not have beers in the shop
Happy late birthday🎉🎉🎉
Get job on your shop. Hopefully you're putting in cameras .❤
Gratuliere zum Geburtstag und zum Einzug in Deine frisch renovierte Garage. Außen rum ist ja noch was zu tun, oder ?
Epoxyfloor 😭 why did you not do that first
Not sure what happened to Tyler, but your new help seems like a natural.
In electrical tool Ryobi is better than Dewalt?
I think it better to move some stuff somewhere else and organized it
Epoxy that floor!!
How was Tim able to make a straight cut on the bottom of that door without a $700 Festool track saw?
Hey! Whats your Ryobi racks ? Where you hang your Ryobi tools :)
Link system from RYOBI
Bring back tyler hes the best 😢😢😢
should have epoxied the floor before moving everything in tho ;) but its looking great!!
I guess that's why it's so easy to boon these doors 😂
No black walls for your shop is really throwing me off haha
