Sifd, I don't know if you work this out by the end of the video, but efficiency increases things. If you have a thing that gives 500% efficiency, and to the right something that reduces max HP by 8%, that 8% becomes 40%. If it gives 12% damage, it becomes 60% damage. Everything is divided into 3, high efficiency/low frequency, a happy medium and low efficiency/high frequency. Lungs of the Bullfrog for weapons, Lungs of the Narwhal for summons.
5:32 the reason why the "Lung of thr Narwhal" does not work is because it has an attack speed of once every 9.8 seconds (as indicated by the rate stat), which is longer than the duration of the boomerang.

As i understand the randomized connections seem actually pretty good, since it enables organ combos that would otherwise be impossible and just increases the possible mayhem that can be caused.
34:00 The reason why the eggs didn't work was because previously they were spreading on the ground due to the intestines, whereas later on they were just "activated" which meant it was the thing following behind you (haven't watched further than the point where you give up on the eggs)
I'm pretty sure that in this case, it is a bug, since Spines are a legit way to spawn eggs/pets.
I just finished a run where I had a monkey spine spawn both eggs and mutants, and I I swapped spines a lot to find the best one ^^
@@ShimizuHisagawa I have to agree. IME sometimes things don't work as anticipated in test mode but do when in the level, and vice-versa.
The thing following behind him was just a visual indicator of the equipped trait. There should have been little stationary eggs deposited every second or so
I think it was a bug calculating the eggs fertility. I dont think it actually passed greater than 1, therefore would not spawn anything. Try it again with the strongest spine type.
I’m looking forward to more of this game. I guess it can get pretty complicated at times… I think what made some things not work in this run was the random compatibility on the right side.
One build that is fun is spawning ants, that on death spawn imps. Then you make it so whenever these imps take damage they activate weapons. You're allowed to damage the imps yourself, so you can see how insane this can get.
The choclea actually also triggers on the death of the target as the effect technically expires along with the target, making it useful in a pinch when there is no retina available
I think thet the glands and the offsprings must be on the same connection line for them to work because in the glands’ description it talks about a specific type of organ (for the snail, it’s wings, for the ant it’s ant eggs...). It’s like an upgrade to a certain organ
Hey, I'll try to explain glands (organs that say they connect stuff), as it's something weirdly worded and difficult to experiment with (especially in a video) :
The glands are an effect that apply to a target (you, enemies, or even projectiles, depending on what triggers them) and they usually connect TO the thing they name.
So for example, if you have a character that is buffed by WINGS effects, and you have an attack that triggers "Gland of the Snail" on hit, enemies hit will be linked to you for a while.
You can do some pretty sick stuff with those, especially when you spread a lot of Debuffs/DoTs and then apply a gland to a lot of enemies that link them to every enemy that suffers from debuffs/dots. These links going everywhere like a spiderweb look awesome ^^ (and you can get pretty good damage with enough efficiency and enough links)
Anyway, I'm enjoying this game and your videos on it, have fun, and thx for the content :)
Note : The randomized right side connection is not "just nerfing the player". Since non-randomized connections don't allow everything to connect to everything else, but just a selection.
Having randomized right side connections allow you to do stuff that would never be possible to do if it wasn't random. I was actually very happy to see that.
Also, (but that's just my opinion) the fun of the game is to work with what you find to try to make a broken build, so randomization in that regard is just more fun for me.
Defend potions are one of the most broken mechanics. It is basically spirit hearts.
Also on hit with atomized poison is absolutely busted.
The spider web didn’t work because the minion needed to be affected by a wing (organ type) to be connected.
I found your channel a couple months ago and your video’s have entertained me on a daily basis ever since, I hope you feel better soon!
One observation from me is: it seems like you can scroll down in the upgrade screen, dont know if its actually possible, but maybe there are some upgrades to buy you havent even seen

Seems like an overly complicated looking game for me. But I see the appeal for those that are into this type of interface.
In the end it isn't that complicated once you start to understand what each stat/organ does.
But I have to admit it is noticeably more difficult deck building compared to other bullet heaven styled games so I understand if it's not everyones cup of tea.
That's why I watch other people play it instead.

You just didn't read carefully, you don:t take your time to experiment, it's what you don't realize.
I don't know if it works, but you could try "Activate periodically (Quickest you can have) > Spawn eggs > On death (Highest multiplier) > Activate wings (buffs)", maybe even having one brain only for that kind of shenanigans 😀
The eggs were working sifd, you were using organs that made them follow you around, instead of the on the ground one.

Build idea:
Brain 1: get a lot of projectiles with nerve of the boxer
Brain 2: get bladder of the cangaroo that activates every couple or so hundred times an enemy gets hit and then also a lot of projectiles that spawn projectiles when they hit enemy's with nerve of the boxer
Result: infinite projectiles (hopefully)
(You might also want to save your cons for brain capacity)

It looks like a wing/web build could be pretty nuts, you had a few of them at the end when you sold everything.
Sifd, Look at what Vortex put at 34 mins as you dont give time for any eggs to be layed. you were always looking for the the quick kill route where there are so many other dofferent routes using the eye's, Slime & all other add ons which you need to give a little time for you get to know. Stay Safe. Get Better. TF

Strat for OP run
Alright I hope I can explain this well. This requires at least two brains and gets even better with more.
Spine of the mammoth -> offering of the imp -> heart of the Wolf -> offering of the ant -> heart of the living dead -> (any attack you want)
Then put a lot of fast hitting melee attacks with nerve combos on the next brain.
What this does / why it works
The imp has the effect of being able to be damaged by yourself so it will spawn ants when you hit it. you will very quickly hit the ant cap and the old ones will die, spawning their attack very very quickly
Enjoy the explosions!
I have just learned that if you add a DOT to the attack hitting the imp it becomes Exponentially more powerful

Massive improvement over the first run! Were all still learning this awesome game, i think youve got a similar understanding to myself thus far. If was like but sifd the efficiency! And you figured it out. I dont know if it would appeal to you but id be excited to see you try out noita, the customization of the wands i think you'd emjoy. Cant wait for more!

any chance you use summon with on death + aoe puddle execute? for a 1000% (x10) efficiency. or am i missing how some interaction works.
Unlock sheep. It's fast, gets extra cells, but does less damage. Best to do it at level 1
mutants are an op af build, at least in my experience, once you start getting them going you can chain react them to shoot enough bullets to lag the game
What does efficiency do? Does it affect all the stats to the right or just damage and/or just the next organ/thingy?
I think only the bullfrog lungs have an area of affect around them while the others just buff the weapon with the damage type or affect

Hey man try this: Brain1 cast summons than evrey other brain starts with cast buff and when buffed cast attacks!
The cochlea's 'expire' condition may mean when a status effect wears off. Ex. A stack of burn lasting x seconds
It probably does not activate if you kill the enemy that has been inflicted with a debuff, so enemies have to survive the duration of the debuff
In conclusion, cochlea's seem useless for busted high dps builds
the "not randomize" is the tutorial of the first game.

From what I understood playing this game, "Atomize" basically means it converts it to an atom shape, which means the projectile (left side of the lung) is the center of the atom and the effect (in your case the burn effect) on the right side surrounds it. The wording and localisation of the game is pretty bad but with multiple tests you can kinda figure out what they are saying.

Atomize means it convert it in an "spray" and as the effect says it make it sourround yourself with it
You can become effectively immortal with the armor fruit by linking it with an organ with super high efficiency and fast activation speed. You can link effects to the armor drops while they're on the ground. Better than any offspring build + immortality.
Usually the heart that activates after 4 sec is the best I found

IMO nerfing the player is ok BUT it should be the final difficulty settings. Do all the other difficulty stuff first, then if you run out of ideas, start with the nerfs.
