Breaking the Rules - Inktense on Fabric

I know I’ve said it many times before, but I simply can’t follow the rules.
It’s not that I think they don’t apply to me, it’s just that I hate being limited by them.
This particularly applies to when I am being creative and experimenting with my art and making.
So, when the fabric wrapping says make sure you wash before use…
And everyone’s tutorials, including the product manufacturer's, tell you to use a hard paint brush and not too much water…
What is a rebel to do???
