Oh.. I don't know... I think he navigates the ship Andertons just fine... top U.K. Retailer, one of the top EU retailers, with the help of Chappers (or really the Monkey Lord at the time), he started internet videos and marketing long before it was really a thing, not to mention the multitude of informative 'opinion' videos on guitars and gear. You know the... "here is what it sounds like" and if he, and/or Chappers liked/disliked it - not really a "it's good/bad" which I appreciate, as everyone has their own tastes. Then the actual starting and investing in their own CZcams channel...
In the end, I'd say he's sailing that ship rather well! As evidenced by the Porsche, Rolex, and multi-Thousand ÂŁ guitars! đŸ˜âœŒđŸŒ

Not only that, blindly fumbling around on a guitar for a few seconds doesn't tell you much about how the guitar plays or whether you're going to have a long term appreciation for the tone (And I'm a Gibson player by the way; I don't have a PRS.)

colintraveller Haha. So by that argument why make it to look so flashy in the first place if how it sounds is the most important thing? Note also what Paul’s first focus on that guitar is... it’s not a comment about how it sounds it’s “have you ever seen anything like that on a guitar at this price point?” It’s very much an afterthought from him to then go on to talk about how it sounds. đŸ€·đŸŒâ€â™‚ïž
As such I think anyone saying they think it’s looks are horrible is more than entitled to state that opinion when it’s been designed and stained/painted that way in order to look visually good first and foremost.

Been a PRS guy for 2 years now (check my unboxing vid) and I'm never looking back. I love Gibsons...don't get me wrong, but my PRS is just so much easier to play, and 3 POUNDS LIGHTER. My old back likes that.

  • @michaelmarshall1713

Price point ??? The PRS are very very expensive and Paul never states the price on these videos. But the guitars are nice ( I am a bass player) and the Grainger basses are just out of reach for most . Love the tops though and many cannot match them.
