KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS MASTERPIECE
Yes it is!
I would recommend the extended director's cut if you haven't seen it.
the wrost movie .ever
It's shite. It was very disappointing for a Ridley Scott movie. Same with Robin Hood
It is so woefully underrated.
Kingdom of heaven. A underrated masterpiece 👌
Robin and Marian. The final sword fight between the sheriff and Robin is the most realistic I've seen.
A knights tale, The Messenger, flesh and blood, dragon heart, the 13th warrior,
timeline, king Arthur, black knight
13th warrior is an underrated gem.
13th!
Flesh and Blood is a great movie
My all-time fav is Excalibur, but Kingdom of Heaven is one of the best.
The remake of The Lion in Winter starting Sir Patrick Stewart & Glenn Close is worth mentioning as well.
Rob Roy, Robin Hood 1991 and 2010 special mentions Highlander & Princess Bride :)
Braveheart was a pure Hollywood product. Excalibur is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen.
The King and Braveheart are my favorite
I would have put "Excalibur" in the top five! Nigel Terry's portrayal of King Arthur was excellent!
El Cid (Charles Heston) was also good.
I agree with your choices except that i think Outlaw King should have been on the list not just honorable mention, it was more accurate than Braveheart, don't get me wrong I loved Braveheart even with all the errors(historical)
Well, I am for The Name Of The Rose, Becket, Lion in winter and Seventh Seal, but there are lots of masterpieces not mentioned and far more realistic, such as Andrei Rublev and Marketa Lazarova. Also, Kurosawa movies like Throne Of Blood and Ran happen in Japan in the same period.
Brave heart is my favorite movie
Very very great epic list I like it a lot very great job 🙂
Arn: The Knight Templar
is a top-notch movie/series of movies.
Excalibur is my favorite medieval drama (Monty Python and the Holy Grail resides in a different catagory for me.) I even love the odd sound editing of Excalibur.
Info on streaming platforms would be appreciated.
"Braveheart" as number 1? Seriously?
The King, wow! !
Has Timothee Chalamet been in a Jack Black movie after the success of The King in 2019?
I just watched "The King". This is the best so far
The last duel was Epic. Its sad only a few appreciated it.
well its kinda hard to watch a movie that has a rape scene not once but twice shown. Personally I enjoyed the movie but I think it would have been a better movie to show that jacques actually didn't rape her but sadly its shown in both perspectives that he did.
A great film, subject was tough with the times we live in.
That’s cause they rushed the making and the mfer eats with his mouth wide open in every movie plus he voted for Biden soooo yeah😂
Everyone asking for "Troy" needs a timeline!
what about, 'EL CID'?
Ironclad, 1,&2,capture the spirit, & authenticity, also, Black death, with sean Bean.Superb acting, direction, et al.If you love this, genre, & haven't seen, the, aforementioned, & are,
seriously,.. Missing out!
Kingdom Heaven Directors Cut is top 3 for me
The king should have been higher on the list
when i was 16...i won a great victory - King Baldwin IV
More appropriate, if you mention the platforms where movies are available
Atleast you could have given a mention for The Physician (2013)...all of these are medieval war movies..the physician also speaks about the hardships in the development of medical science...
The Name of the Rose… sooo good.
Kingdom of heaven 👍
Baldwin IV was a great king.
No. 1 and No. 10 should be reversed Kingdom of Heaven is the best
My Number One...Excalibur!!!
Braveheart is so historically inaccurate I'm amazed it's even taken seriously. It's nothing but the story's of Spartacus and Queen Boudicca slapped together, with William Wallace name attached.
1. The Adventures of Robin Hood
2. The Holy Grail
3. The Seventh Seal
4. The Lion in Winter
5. Beckett
This might be the best comment about this film I've ever seen.
Foda-se se é impreciso historicamente, o filme é foda e ponto.
this is the same list my grandpa would do it, if he would have died in 2005
Kingdom of Heaven. The best.
i agree only braveheart but where is robin hood 1991, 13th warriors, Arn.
Kingdom of Heaven deserved a far better fate. Braveheart is tripe. Honourable mention to the original Robin hood with Errol Flynn.
i mean who make that list ? kingdom of heaven is 10 times better than any other movies in list...
I know it is fiction, but what about Lady Hawk?
some of them actually made in medival ages
Troy was great
true but not a medieval film, the story is set in antiquity.
The King and The Name Of The Rose are tied.
_The 13th Warrior_
A cult favorite for me.
What is the song used in the Henning of the seventh seal?
Need top 10 medieval tv shows
We just uploaded the Top 10 Medieval TV Series at czcams.com/video/s975DyIqq_U/video.html
@@communiTV i saw it today thanks for making a video
Monty Python & The Holy Grail is awesome
Braveheart is a joke! It was so historically inaccurate.
Prove it
Loved it at first but can’t watch it now. I can’t explain why other than Mel’s deathly stare that always makes me chuckle.
Their was an actual person wallace that had a similar accomplishments. Braveheart is loosely based on the story of 13th-century Scottish leader William Wallace
I like Monty Python but there should be "El Cid" with Charlton Heston instead. 😠
Would you put Prince of Persia in this list? I would. Also Troy.
Troy is set 2000 years before the middle ages
They are ancient. We talk about medieval time here.
@@hughdncy Prince of Persia is a movie about medieval time. The story is at the begining of middle ages (around the Ve ou VIe century)
@@Lady_Morgana_HighPriestress oh I didn't know that....thank you...but Troy is defo not medieval is it
@@hughdncy yes, Troy is not medieval. It's ancient Greece
Where is Jeanne D’Arc, Gladiator etc.? Just to seem sophisticated you put some really old movies but missed out many many good medieval movies which is sad.
Gladiator isn't medieval
The Outlaw King is missing (much better than the King btw)
Honorable mentions 8:47
For how wildly inaccurate Braveheart is I wouldn’t put it at number one.
Kingdom of Heaven is way too low.
It is not a surprise that as the counts go downs from 10 to 1 the TOP movies are the ones of the past which explains the dacadency and falling down of Hollywood with the great exception of Brave Heart played by Mel Gibson a piece of master for the years to come,.......................
No First Knight????? Blasphemy
Kingdom of Heaven directors cut is the best followed by Arn and Braveheart is an a travesty of a film.
Agreed
Braveheart should not be on this list at all. It's wildly inaccurate and paints the Scots as backward savages, which they were not. Outlaw King is a far more accurate film. And Seventh Seal easily beats Braveheart for cinematic value. I'm surprised Excalibur isn't in the top five.
Again tell me how Brave Heart is historical and not historical fiction?
The last Samurai?
19th century
The King is the best movie ever!!!!!!
a knights tale and outlaw kingvare by far better than kingdom of heaven
“Pat-tro-nosed” NOT “pate-tron-iced”….there is English….and there is WRONG
Braceheart is and unhistorical pile
ever heard TROY?
not medieval lol
Avis ????
How is Brad Pitt Troy not on this list
Because thats not medieval
Troy?
Mythological
THE NORTHMAN .
Why is Troy not on the list !!
Because thats not medieval lol
What a crap countdown
WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!! Excalibur is #1
What are u on about?
WRONG. The Devils is the best...
please don't be fake and pretentious like watchmojo
Monty python is a parody. It shouldnt be on this list
As is Braveheart.
@@glyndavis3439 no its a serious movie. If this was an attempt at a joke then it didnt hit the mark because Monty Python is literally a parody and has no place on this list. no matter what you think about Braveheart it is a medieval film
Troy
300
Someone old af made this list lol terrible
What about Troy
Troy isn't Medieval.
Boring
Worst list ever made. Delete the video
Worst top 10 ever
Should be #1then Excalibur......at #2 Vikings the 1950 something movie.
Yes but the original is SUPERB!!!!!!
Imagine pretending a movie as awful as the king is a good medieval movie.
Ridiculous modern philosophical concepts. A French princess ranting about all monarchy being illegitimate 😂
Laughable manipulation plot when it’s well noted Henry wanted to invade France before he even got on the throne.
Terrible depiction of the battle of Agincourt.
The only semi decent thing in the movie was the duel that didn’t really happen at the beginning between Henry and Percy. Everything else was just a load of modern nonsense injected into a historical event. “Oh war is a grim thing.” “Oh you got manipulated to war” “oh a guy who just won a major victory an regained a ton of land Richard II lost is a easily riled boy according to a “illegitimate” princess”. That movie was complete ass 😂
I mean if seeing armor and swords is what you’re watching it for. You may get something. If the slightest, remotest hint of authenticity to the period, events or even people are what you’re after. You’ll find absolutely none of it in the king.
