but I think we have to agree on something. We can't put "veery good fuel economy" and "speed/performance" in one sentence unless it is a hybrid/electric car. If you want performance and speed then I think you have to sacrifice fuel economy and vise versa.

When this car came out I wanted it so baad, Went for test drive, picking was crap. I couldn't even overtake vitz and demios..
I totally agree with you its really down I had one could struggle with Hills I had to sell as soon as I arrived in Nairobi
After owning it I guess its just a cheap beautiful small SUV but so lazy...That sluggish CVT gets on my nerves. But on the plus side its got a great fuel economy and the baby stands out in a crowd.
It's seriously underpowered and the moment you massage those paddle shifters it just overheats and jumps into limp mode. Generally it's good for the family.
Since you mentioned its competitors as, vezel, juke, XV, Rush etc please consider doing a review on Suzuki SX4.

If I may ask, are there any good performance CVT? Car with a CVT that would drive fast. In theory, CVT is faster juu hakuna gear change but practically it's so slow.
Another question, when it comes to Nissan, if you get one with an automatic transmission, does it have overheating and does it need an aftermarket cooler kweli?

Interestingly, when you look up the ground clearance of the XV, it has class leading ground clearance at 8.7 inches. This is same as the forester. Looking at both, XV seems lower especially from the front.
Subaru boxer engine is the weakpoint though

The XV has an 8 inch clearance. So not so different.
Ebu tuletee upclose and candid with Audi Q5. Mitsubishi RVR is my daily drive for a year + now and I actually love it. Just an observation, stick to one mechanic and the car will serve it's purpose. That 0-100 was an embarrassment lol, but I still think I can do better than 19 seconds.

For what they are, I think these subcompact SUVs are way too overpriced. Is clearance really worth an extra 800k - 1m surely? An RVR shouldn't be a cent over 1.6m.

Did anyone notice, when Wokabi said "assuming" Ibra was the happiest man. For the road noise, I think better more expensive tyres such as Dunlop or Michellin will sort it out a little bit. You cannot do a 0-100 in an RVR without using the paddleshifters. It will disappoint you.

Compare RVR to toyota Cross and not Toyota Rush
We cannot do that because they are not in the same class. The RVR is a sub-compact crossover the Corolla Cross is a Compact Cross Over.
Secondly the Corolla Cross has been in production since 2020 unlike the RVR which has been there from 1990.
The Corolla Cross should only be compared to the Eclipse Cross. I thought you should know.
Mr. Wokabi the ASX is not the same as RVR. You need to drive one. The ASX is powerful, RVR is sluggish.

I think other engines rated above 2000cc to 2500cc mit,subaru,Nissan,vw etc produce lesser power than toyotas 1500cc. I mean 1500cc toyota is far better than those above

In the past I owned Mazda's, Hondas, fords, General Motors and Toyotas. The worse car out of the lot by far is the mitsubishi rvr. Very expensive to maintain because of lack of parts because no one is buying them. You can buy mitsubishi rvr or outlander with low mileage because no one truly wants them. I own a 2014 and i couldn't afford to keep it if I couldn't repair myself. Imagine, I would have racked up almost $11,000 at the dealers in labour and materials after purchasing this car in ,,2020. This gentleman knows not what he speaks about repair , obtaining parts and maintenance. Do Not Buy This Car.

It is not slow it is average . The slowest car I ever drove qas the Ford Focus. what a piece of junk the Focus was. It was the most unreliable car I ever had so far. I have a 2021 RVR so it is newer than this one. I know the inside of the trunk it is shorted than the Civic. I know because I had a Civic twice in my life. In the Civic there is also more room between the front and back seats than this one too.
This would be perfect for gachie now that the govt took away barabara, 15kph is the max.
In other news, why did you stop reviewing new cars? Start with the non-mainstream brands like Hyundai and Kia tuwaogope .
