Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

That Pepsi rant was NEXT LEVEL GENIUS! This guy needs Mexican pizza vouchers for life.
Facts!
He was so enthusiastic/pissed about it, made me laugh so hard
Yeah but it also makes me want to boycott those locations until they start paying real wages.
@@michaelmain1990 It's not totally all KFC/Taco Hell's fault. In Washington state, the minimum wage is now $15 - and that was fought over for a while because the minimum wage applies to ALL companies. Not just food
Omg.. that WAS GREAT!
I loved the Pepsi guy’s subtitles. They were super creative and made me laugh harder 😂
i loved "smells like savings" haha
I came to say the same. I almost died when I saw that savings lmao 😂
I rewatched that part twice just to catch all the subtitles since I was laughing so hard. 😂
The captions were literally the best thing about the video. “I just want a Funtime Mexican pizza!”
Who doesn't know about 0# its just 0 sometimes snd sometimes it don't work the phone just hangs up
The worst that happened to me was....my house got robbed, called the police, took forever, blah blah blah. Not 24 hours later I am getting mail and phone calls from security companies trying to sell me an alarm. I asked every single caller how they got my number and no one would say a word. I got lucky finally and got a newer employee who told me they buy a list from the police department. It's one thing to get a report of all robberies and mail stuff but to give out my personal cell number? So much for serve and protect.
I watched a video from a CZcamsr yesterday who set out how much money each state government in the USA gets for selling their residents information. California's haul was insane!!
Believe it or not, scammers buy these lists legitimately from your government.
@@Rionnagan they sure do. In fact each state has a Comptroller (like the state's bank) they have a list of unclaimed property which is money that people never received. to get your money you search and then claim it....for free. There are companies that request those lists and then contact folks saying they found money and for 20% they can get it for them. I work for a state agency and actually went through legal to get agencies to not accept their requests.
Dude, $20 says it's your microphone, not the police department.
@@psychedelicspiritualityno, it’s the cops, because they are ALL bastards.
yeah, they also buy access to videocamera doorbells without people's consent. And of course it's been abused to spy on people without a warrant, or probable cause.
I’m a stay at home mom, and I was filling out some paperwork at a bank several years ago, the lady helping me asked what I did. I said, oh I’m just a stay at home mom, she said, okay, and as she’s typing in my occupation, she said “domestic engineer”. I’ve never forgotten it, and that’s what I put on paperwork now. It’s the truth, there’s a lot that goes into what I do, and a lot of things that other people pay people to do for them. Just because I don’t get a paycheck, doesn’t make what I do any less important.
My brother was once approved instantly for a $10,000 credit card because he told them he was a 'petroleum transportation technician'. He pumped diesel fuel for truckers at our local truck stop. I recently subscribed and love your videos! I would love to share some of my best petty moments, but I would have to research the statue of limitations on some first... lol
My ex did that once, except he used Propane transfer technician. He worked at a gas station in downtown Toronto that serviced taxis, which at the time (90s) mostly used propane as it was cheaper or something. He had to take a course and get a certificate so he figured he might as well get a title out of it.
Spill the tea! 😋💕
"but I would have to research the statue of limitations on some first..."
Oh Hon! We DEFINITELY want you to share those experiences! Spill the tea, I'll get the popcorn!
She has a form you can submit some of your stories.
What's a good one for office amin person? I will be getting a loan in a few months and want to skew things in my favor as much as possible.
The earphone trick....be careful and don't do it at work! You get caught, you'll be fired. Worked with an extremely paranoid person who would leave hers in the office when she went on walks because she was convinced people were talking crap about her. She learned personal info of a coworker and let it slip that she knew about it. That employee reported her, and she was quickly shitcanned.
The same thing goes with wiretapping laws and two-party consent states (in the US). Audio recording can get you in way more trouble than video a lot, if not most of the time. 🤐
Was her name Georgette Costanza? 😂
I mean, she was not only an idiot for doing it but also for repeating something she learned in the process.
There's actually a LOT of places that have laws regarding recording of phone calls and private conversations - the UK for one, you might as well just assume that the UK is an "all parties consent" jurisdiction because you are likely to get fucking savaged if you record a private conversation without consent if that recording gets out.... The only caveat is if you're only recording for personal use and can guarantee said recording will never be listened to by anyone other than yourself, in this case consent is not required but who can actually make that guarantee without knowing the future??
The very moment a third party hears a part of that recording or its made public without the participants consent, you just broke the law and can be savaged for it.
Spying on your partner is never going to end well though... not only is it likely to end the relationship (possibly for good reason), but the person you spied on to garner the relationship ending material will probably out you for secretly recording them using this sneaky method to everyone you both know which will probably completely destroy any trust you had with other friends and people you both know going forward - you are clearly rather unscrupulous when suspicious and cannot be trusted at all as a result.
People who don't have a filter and don't know when to stop talking have to learn eventually. I had someone at work who never learned this and everyone at work turned against her. She never understood why. Drove me nuts because I liked her but I learned quickly not to tell her anything personal
Pearl mania is the reason why I’ve been stuck on political tiktok for months now but I just can’t get over how good his videos are. The cursing, bleeping it out and then using a positive word in the captions has to be the greatest thing of all time.
Not many things make me proud to be from Philly, but he sure does
RIGHT?! He's amazing and I've learned so much from him!
As someone who currently works for a Yum! establishment (The Habit Burger) I'm not surprised at all. When we were acquired by them all of our quality went so far down and our prices KEEP going up. Our bags for orders? Sh*tty, they fall apart if you look at them wrong and half the bags come already broken or with no handles etc. Our lettuce and mixes? Absolute garbage, we used to get heads of lettuce etc that we chopped in store ourselves and now we get bags of already wilted greens. Everything is going downhill and everybody is tired of it. Yum! absolutely sucks.
Be careful with the car insurance thing. If you ever need to claim, they will go through all the information you provided with a fine toothcomb to try and find something so they can invalidate the claim..
Can confirm. I work in insurance too and you should never try to disguise your occupation or relationship status. In the event of a claim they will check. You’re needlessly jeopardising your chance of being paid out for the sake of a cheaper premium. And in the case of content creators, it’s not about how much money you earn, it’s your higher than normal profile to others that presents a greater risk. Celebrities are frequently the target of vandals/haters.
Material Misrepresentation. Its also a thing in life insurance - occupation and especially health. Health it's extra stupid to lie about because they check multiple sources and databases for info.
@@marie-andreec5164 sounds about right. If it was home or car insurance the conditions she abides by will apply to anyone to whom the policy concerns. So if she’s not declared it they can use his history against her. She may not of known about it but, frankly, that’s on her.
@@becorations1 maybe b/c she was honest? People literally just said they go over all that with a fine tooth comb and you want her to lie to get a payout? smh.
I'm guessing once his criminal history came out due to a home insurance payout, its b/c obv a criminal, past or present, is at a higher likelihood of scamming the system. If you want to claim his property as damaged as well as your own, he would need to be on your insurance plan. So yeah, kinda dumb on her part.
GAP insurance is the worst to try to get payouts for. Even if you dot all of your Is and cross your Ts and hold your mouth just right, the chances of getting that payout is slim to none. So anyone that signs up for GAP, I highly recommend you know your policy inside and out and advice by it to the letter!
Another quick way to skip to CSR for large organizations...Call their sales line (someone ALWAYS picks up right away) Tell that person you were placed on hold and suddenly transferred they'll skip you through the line to the right department. This works 90% of the time.
True but please don't. I used to work in Expedia and all calls coming into the sales department are considered sales calls. They'll divide the number of sales/bookings we have during the day by the number of calls we receive, even if they know we sometimes receive customer service calls. So many sales agents get in trouble daily because of how this drags down our sales percentages for the day, which is so unfair. That's why I left. I really feel for those who had no choice but to stay.
@@lifeisagem no one has to stay in that kind of work though fr and you know it's quota based when you go the the interview to be any type of sales rep
@@tiffanydaniels227 we're from the Philippines and life here is hard so people will try to stick to a toxic work environment because they have not much choice but to do so.. Like I said not anyone has the freedom to just jump out. We are aware that it's quota based but you don't have any idea how the metrics change daily/weekly/monthly in Expedia it's insane.
Lol does it work with the IRS
Yup I’ve done this. Also swearing horrifically at AI. It’s trained to immediately recognize the words and put you through.
The Pepsi/Coca-Cola story escalated REAL quickly 😂
Beware: when you provide your information to museums, they sell it to each other and other organizations. I'm a former museum employee and when I found out, it finally made sense why I was getting info from different museums I've never been to. P.S. info is sold in batches!
The Taco Bell rant took me out 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Man I threw my headphones across the room🤣
Man was angry like angry angry
Me too!!🤣🤣🤣

Exactly 😂😂😂
As a Tech Support representative for a big cable company. We can hear you when you're on hold.
It's my favorite thing when people go "Ugh. I got a woman. She clearly knows nothing about technology." I un-hold the call, and in the friendliest voice I can, I say "Oh I'm so sorry sir/ma'am. Did you say something?"
Charlotte needs to hand over her petty crown!!! That is hilarious!
With our chat feature we can also see what people are typing as they type, including if they fix their typos. I find it fun to watch
SAME! Some will literally say, "Can you get me a MAN on the phone?" If pressed, I'll get a male... SALES rep. 😂😂😂
Lol that's why I mute
You shouldn't have released this bit of information. You're about to hear some real messed-up stuff going forward. "Yeah, listen, Carl, we'll clean up the body after I'm off the phone. No, shut up, take the gun to the river."
Here's one for customer service lines. Doesn't ALWAYS work but if you have a robot trying to force you to say words or make a selection on the phone from a list of options that you know will bring you to MORE automated menus... say NOTHING. When prompted to say 'in a few words explain the reason for your call' just keep saying nothing. Sometimes the robot will put you through if "representative" or "0 # " doesn't work. Maybe the robot thinks it can't hear you will enough and connects you to a rep.
Yeah. I remain silent and don't press any buttons, and I get put through to a person straight away. As someone who has to call companies all the time for work, I just put my phone on speaker and do other stuff while I wait for the menu to implode and someone answers.
On a personal level, there's an app for that (here in the UK).
They can hear you when you are on hold because they are muted, not the customer. Reps also get in big trouble if they talk crap about clients because sometimes they forget to push the mute button or it doesn't take. 😂 I worked at a call center for 2 years so I know. Also, when they transfer you from one department to another and the music is playing, the transferring operator is on the line on hold with you, if you talk about them while listening to the music...guess what? Yup. They hear you.
I work at a call center for a theatre. Yes, we can hear you when you're on hold. I had a customer say nasty stuff about me when I put her on hold, so of course, I didn't tell her about any deals and said I couldn't help her when I absolutely could. Be nice to people on phones! Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they're not a person!
At least if your going to be an asshole just put your phone on mute too lol. Most ppl forget that exists
Can confirm as well!😂
I worked at HP in call center, I heard a customer say, "This girl needs to hurry my coffee is kicking in and I need 💩." 😂
I never get why people are so mean to people they are getting services from. We don’t have much power, but we still have some.
@@MalcolmReynoldsQuotes This legitimately confuses me. The person on the other end didn't kill your internet, didn't file their nails ignoring your call for an hour, didn't set the service schedule, doesn't set the price, but for a low wage is trying to help... so why are you screaming and badmouthing them? Are you expecting them to go "hyuck, ya got me, it'll be fixed in 10 minutes. I'm secretly the CEO. You're the first person to scream enough to qualify for our special instant-service! package"
A neighbour used to do this, but finally got him to treat at least the first people he gets as humans... he still reserves his vitriol for the people it escalates to though /swt
As a former call center agent, I confirm. We do in fact hear what the customer is saying when we put you on hold or when you're on hold waiting for for a person to help you. If you don't hear hold music we can hear you, because all we did was mute our mic. 😂
My favourite is that our company actually has timing policies, so we can't keep a caller on hold for more than 2 mins without checking in with them. I've interrupted people saying some of the rudest stuff with a "Hi! I'm just checking in with you while I'm pulling up these details to ensure you're still able to hold!" Then I put them on hold again out of principle.
Yup. Last time I got a scam called, told them I know they were scammers because gov agencies dont pick up phone that fast. The next time they called, when transfering me, they let me wait. So, I pretend to talk to myself getting agitated that my battery is at 5%. Girl quickly get back online. Lol
@@wynnedm1941 We had the 2 minutes rule too. 😂
Oh gods… that means those super-helpful and nice ladies at tandem heard me baby-talking to my cat while trying to reorder my pump supplies. Well, Ashes my dear… someone else knows you are a fat little gremlin tat tries to eat my pump and purrs too loud but I love you anyway!
She’s sixteen pounds, and should be, like… twelve. She a chonky kitty!
how about those calls when you have to click a number and if you need to speak to a staff you are put on hold because all the staff are busy. Will they still be able to hear you? because i assume that the call hasnt been allocated to a person yet. Hope they don't because i always never put on mute :')
Airline tip my sister-in-law learned after traveling so many times with her baby: if you don't add the baby to your ticket until your already checked in and at the gate, they will usually have to redo the check-in and change your seat to the best available, which is usually one with significantly more leg room cause they cost more to directly book
How do you get to the gate without a ticket for the baby if you have to go through TSA?
@@keshianserenity i can't remember how she got past that. It mightve been at security that it happened. Less than a week after I posted this they stopped letting her do it cause the baby turned a year old so I think it might only be with newborns/infants
When it has gotten to the point where you feel the need to "catch them cheating" the trust in the relationship is already gone.
Relationship is over anyway, whether you catch them or not.
Just walk away. You don't need to prove it or disprove it.
Wise words.
I ASK FOR PEPSI SPECIFICALLY EVERYTIME AND SETTLE FOR COKE!!! 😅😅😅 That Pepsi rant was fire!!!! I loved the subtitles the most!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

I absolutely love pepsi! Also I love Jordan and his little bathroom “fastfood secrets”. Companies contact him all the time to ask him how he knows all this things. He won’t tell them😂😂😂
Lol, the Sonic one isn't a secret. Not only is it advertised all the time (probably to encourage app usage), but when you're in the app, it's almost always being promoted at the top and even reminds me about the half drinks before I check out if I don't have a drink in my cart. You also get various app-only specials pretty frequently.
The rest were good to know, though, lol.
Oh, and I HOPE companies are still recording when I'm put on hold! I always wondered about that and in case they did, I make remarks about the crappy CS I'm being given or my grievances with the company in general. 😄😄
Also....that Pepsi dude is gonna have a heart attack with that combo of eating habits and disgruntled-ness. 😂😂 My man needs to smoke a bowl and chill out a bit. 😳😂
They can't hear you when you're on the initial hold before a person. BUT, if an agent asks to PUT you on hold, they could have just hit the 'mute' button, which means they can still hear you. Used to do this when I worked for FedEx customer service and didn't want my 'hold time' number to go up but had wiggle room on my 'call time'. Usually if you hear music you're on actual hold.
Jordan has the best fast food hacks and he delivers them in the most anxiety ridden voice. He’s great ❤
Sadly, the kfc chicken bucket refill is a hoax.
The president of the fast food secrets club!
Sorry about the news, but the KFC hack is an hoax :(
It seems like he's worked at every fast food restaurant in the country

It is incredibly messed up how little these HUGE companies want to pay the people who are making them all this money. It makes my blood boil!!! I hope they reap what they sow.......

@@moonpancake I think so too. I would love to get a mini house and a nice garden and some chickens and some other source of electric.....it would be so wonderful to be completely (or almost completely) self reliant for everything.......I am nowhere near that or being able to do that currently lol but hopefully I'll get there.
@@allisoncardell it's like that w all the big companies....just imagine how much money Taco Bell, McDonald's, Walmart, etc take in in a day and they expect their employees (who do the hard work that brings in the money) to live off of the small wage they give them. I live in Milwaukee and there's no way you could live a reasonable existence from what any of these places pay. In fact I'm personally struggling to find a job that pays enough to survive and currently it's not happening .......
Don’t buy products from corporations and start supporting your local businesses. They will fail as every monopoly in the past has fallen. You could be the catalyst to that solution by boycotting the rotten products these companies “make”

That Pepsi rant and its censured swear words were amazing😂
I worked in a call center, and I can confirm that if you are on hold, they can hear you. So whenever I call anywhere and they put me on hold, I mute my phone before talking my shit lol
I had to read this multiple times...I thought you said "taking my shit" not talking... XD either way. Valid!
Yeah you mute your end at the centre and the music plays and so many people think they can't be heard, sorry but it's only muted one way, so be careful what you say people. I always say nonsense and crack jokes, sing badly, so..I act like normal I guess, they entertain me with tunes and I pay them back with comedy and terrible singing of random songs (meow mix, the duck song, Peter Griffin singing ding fries are done, etc)..they probably aren't listening but generally if anyone was listening in then usually are a bit giggly when they unmute their end.

About what the woman said about using ear pods to listen in to other persons' conversations, I suggest checking with an attorney before doing that. Many states in the USA criminalize this kind of behavior. The laws vary from state to state so be cautious. Also, it's really creepy. I would immediately dump anyone I was dating who listened to even one of my conversations.
Ear buds are 1 way. If you're that suspicious, install a couple of cameras.
Okay kiddos…while it is illegal to record a conversation & all…it is highly unlikely it will reach court unless it is life-altering information. So a boyfriend / girlfriend wouldn’t waste the court costs. But a husband / wife absolutely should go to divorce court, build a case, evidence, etc. If you let your ex spouse know ahead of time that monitors are in place for your safety, & they get caught recorded doing something…- absolutely any of that would be legally eligible to use in court. It is only if it is purposely recorded without their knowledge, that it is possible to become a crime. However, if they admit to cheating, & you live in an adultery state that makes your marriage annulled…then you could get a divorce using that evidence but you could also get a fine for using the recording. Lol. Laws suck 😂
Unless you have to do a undercover investigation on a cheater just for your own sanity.
That dudes rant might be the greatest and most accurate of all time 🤣

So the AirPod thing seriously works. When I was a social worker this was a regular issue! A few people we were helping were spying on us when we would have meetings on how to help them and others. A lot of sensitive information was compromised.
Oh no!
I love the ranting Pennsylvania Pepsi guy. He's hilarious
Side Note on the KFC thing... KFC confirmed there is no such policy. There is NO free chicken and never has been. They did not really answer if the worker and the customer has pre-set this up and the TikTok-er actually paid for that bucket of chicken or if she handed him an empty bucket and then he started his filming while there was no customer in the location at the time.
The guy talking about Taco Bell 😂😂 I share his frustration.
The Mexican pizza rant was absolutely hilarious

They can 100% hear you when you're on hold and it allows them to counter anything you've been muttering. So the next time you get put on hold, just start muttering to yourself that if you don't get off hold soon you are gong to cancel your service. Or yell out to an imaginary spouse/friend asking them to dig up your lawyer's number so you can see about suing the company you're on hold with.
i would actually advise against saying things like suing the company or taking legal measures. I worked for a company that staffed a lot of call centers for big businesses (Apple, AT&T, a few big named Banks, etc..) We were moved between businesses a lot depending on need and call volumes. Every company I worked for had different protocols for what to do if a customer or client ever mentioned taking legal action. Some had us do immediate cold transfers to the legal team for that company. Others had us provide a script, not always with a phone number to the legal team, and immediately hang up before the client could respond.
It sucked. The worst part was, if you didn't do this you would get in serious sh!t with your TM and possibly receive a strike which could lead to termination.
I do the opposite, if I'm on hold I start telling my son, my dog, my cat, my parrot, etc. that this rep sounds really nice and knowledgeable, so I know they are going to be able to help me. I'm very polite when explaining my issue and always thank them even if they weren't able to help.
If I'm contacted later to rate the service I received, I give glowing reviews and use their name (always try to write that down at the beginning). Sometimes the rep even gives me their direct email or their personal exchange number so I can get to them without going through the company operator/receptionist.
On rare occasions when the service sucked, I just don't give any reviews but that is very rare.
Ooooor orrr just say something like oh my appointment is soon/I’m gonna have to just call back later ugh-sympathy works best -we as workers don’t gaf if you stay or go especially if you’re a meanie. 😅
@Lazy I Ranch, as a customer service agent myself, you would be my dream customer. We get treated pretty badly a lot of the time.
The free drink thing won't work unless an employee spills your drink. A venue is not obligated to give you a free drink that YOU spilled. If anything, they'll cut you off for being intoxicated enough to spill a drink. 😂
the FANTASTIC wages and the funtime pizzas and the cars that smell like savings 😂😂😂
I worked at kfc and actually didn’t know this but it’s probably to cut back on waste because at the end of the night (I worked closing shift) there was always so much left over chicken and we had to throw it away😢our store actually fed the left overs to a pack of stray cats that used to sit by the dumpster obviously because it smelled like chicken. We’d just take it to the vacant lot across the street for them. To this day it’s the most wholesome thing I’ve seen in a workplace that I’ve worked in😌
you didn't know it because it's a total hoax, that dude just wanted his 10 minutes of fame, and he got them
not quite as wholesome taking it to a local food pantry, but yeah lets feed a bunch of strays and enable other problems instead of helping anyone

@@tigressqueen911 also anyone working the night shift at that particular store (that’s didn’t pay well) got to take any left over food they wanted home so we did help people in need before just giving it to the cats that were starving in the streets
Most retail places require you to somehow "ruin" anything you throw away that might be edible, to avoid litigation, and boost sales.
My greatest trick to get off hold quicker is go through the motions of having to use the bathroom.. usually if I sit down on the toilet someone comes on pretty soon after. Idk why but it seems to work for me anyway.
They come off hold when i put a lot of food in my mouth...😂
I've worked QA for several different large call centers. Not only can we hear everything you say on hold, if it's on a call that gets reviewed and it's funny, pretty much the whole team is gonna hear it.
12:20 In marketing you have the concept of "you can always get more chicken, but you can't always get another customer".
I love the taco bell guy. He's completely right and it's not just Pepsi that lobbys to keep minimum wage down so they don't have to give their employees a fare wage... or insurance, or shares, or job security, or any sort of anything our parents use to have. Oh, our lives are worth nothing but a piece of paper, isn't it ROMANTIC!!!! You have to imagine me singing that last part. Anyways, love to you and Charlotte love to my fellow humans🖤😈🤘😝🥰❤🍭🦄🌈🌸🌹
And people ask me why, on the rare occasion, when I get pizza with delivery that I tip the driver 20%. I've had two different boyfriends who worked for different pizza places and low tips barely cover the cost of gas. "I shouldn't have to pay more because the company doesn't pay them fair wages!" You're right, you SHOULDN'T, but they don't, so I do. If you tip poorly or complain a lot they will put your delivery on the end of the driver's route, even if they have to pass your house to drop off the other pizzas first and catch your house on the way back, or they may even blacklist you and won't take your orders. Pizza places out for blood y'all!
We don't do Pizza Hut ever since they started charging a buck extra for pan crust, what used to be their standard crust...oh, and DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! The toppings cost TWICE as much vs calling and speaking to a human. They know millennials, well people in general, will do almost anything to not talk on the phone, including pay more, and they're taking advantage of it! My own dad won't call in pizza, granted he has Parkinson's and his short term memory is very poor.
This is just sad news for me. I’m never buying Pepsi products again. ☹️
In an ideal world what should happen is that nobody will work for them for a crappy wage. No workers, so no premises can open, no money for the company - so they would have to put the wages up to attract staff in order to operate. SO in a true capitalist society workers should refuse to work for such low pay (or buy from such companies) and thus force them to change. Unfortunately this is America, and people are desperate for a job and don;t care as long as they get their burger. Stop giving them your services and buying their products. Use your power as a consumer
I like his point. I completely agree with the fact minimum wage is in the toilet. But his delivery of the message made me scrub through half the rant. I can't stand people yelling like that. Calm the fuck down buddy.
It is hard to understand how any company has the nerve to ask customers to be generous with their tips, as the company only pays very low wages.
As a citizen of PA, this dude gives off Philly energy.
Also not sure if this is a hack, or "illegal" knowledge or anything really, but in my years as a fast food customer something I learned is that if you are really nice to the workers, and take the time to literally get to know them(in a not weird way, just make friends with some of them) that sometimes when you come around they will give you free things without you even asking. I can't tell you how many times I recieved a free McFlurry, free cheese sticks from BK, free sandwiches from Arby's, literally just make friends or be really nice if you regularly go by places like this for work or what have you.
This is soooo true!!!
We are people, and it’s such a wonderful feeling to be just… acknowledged! The little girl that helped a bad day to be better? Extra cookie. The guy that said I had the most beautiful drive-thru voice got a free ice cream sundae.
And now, after leaving fast food, I’m sure to just chat to them, if they aren’t too busy.
@@icarusbinns3156 For sure, some of the coolest folk I've met were behind fast food joints, or just standing in line waiting for my order to be done. I once talked to an older woman that worked at a Mcdonalds who was so busy she missed lunch. I gave her my nuggets and told her to just put them under the counter and eat them. Went back like a week later, same lady took my order through the drive through and I got a free 10 pc. Kindness is great, it really is, and it's so easy.
I worked at the movie theater in high school(05-07). I became friends with people at chic-fil-a. thats when a combo was the price of a movie ticket, i would go to their register hand a couple of free entry tickets over and get my food for free. at some point the manager came up in the middle of our exchange(but i knew him from school) and he got in on the action too. I told him to bring by whatever happened to be left when they close... he brought by a nugget party platter and 10 sandwiches. and thats how i became hero of the day feeding my coworkers free chicken
When my oldest was in the nicu for over a hundred days I used to go to McDonald's after visiting her. The one worker there who dealt with the payment in the drive through would ask me how she was and we'd have a nice small chat each time as I was paying. I generally ordered of the value menu to save money. One time as I was paying she used her mic and informed them at the next window that they messed up on my previous order and got me a few cheeseburger and small fries. Her kindness helped me through some really rough times. That was over 11 years ago (my oldest is doing amazing) and I still remember her fondly. I went back about a year after my daughter left the nicu and she no longer worked there, I hope she is doing well in her life.
Back when I worked retail I made friends with the people at my regular S'bux--we connected over The Postal Service. They knew my name, they knew my order, they got me extras without me asking...they were great! It also makes a huge difference when the staff is having fun and getting along. Whoever their manager was did a great job at building morale. So, yes, make friends with the people who make your food regularly!
The pepsi rant had me Dying 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lewis Black Jr. Talking about that Mexican pizza! He was brilliant!
Honestly, the ear bud hack is probably an intentional loophole for the phone company to be able to listen in "legally" to all your convos.
I honestly for second thought that was actually where it was going, but of course they wouldn’t put the off switch for their listening devices in an obvious place.

Give the guy an effing taco bell😂 i love him. He's my spirit animal😂
The zero pound thing used to work every time, I’ve known about it for years, now most companies have eliminated it and it actually kicks you back out to the main prompt because people have been overusing it. So if you’re like 3 prompts in on some BS call trying to ask a question that isn’t answered through their automated system they’ll now send you back to the beginning, or some like an internet provider that will remain nameless, will hang up on you. Love that businesses refuse to just staff an appropriate amount of people and instead will overhaul their entire system to avoid hearing feedback
But they are hashes and not pounds?
@@FrankAyresUK It was always called the pound sign for over a century. It was since twitter evolved that it was called a hash tag.

Do you have Pepsi?? 😂😂
I grew up with divorced parents, my dad loved coke, my step dad loved pepsi. I like both, but cherry coke is like absolutely crack. My boyfriend loves pepsi, and the first time I bought cherry coke he told me he'd never had it and said it was so good and freaked out.... he hasn't bought pepsi in a 12 pack since 😂😂
My dad buys Pepsi by the case.
I always ask for a Pepsi too... If they don't have it I'll get something else. I don't like coke
My stepmother is Pepsi and my mom is Voke and neither will have each other. My wedding had to make sure to have both. Didn't want to see to be choosing one or the other 🙈
My parents, my boyfriend, and I always get Pepsi for a mixer as well! Hahaha 🤣
That Pizza rant was God Tier.
The Pepsi rant is relatable. Thank God McDonald's pays more than minimum wage
Oh my god. I love the Taco Bell guy. It took a left turn so unexpectedly.
Years ago, when I traveled by myself, a series of events made me miss all my connecting flights. My mom tried to save money buy buying from multiple companies, so I was forced to call all the airlines my myself, but lo and behold... Put on hold. Out of exhaustion and stress, I just started to ramble about my situation to what I thought was no body.
I told the void that I was a minor, crossing international borders, my check in baggage was gone, and ranted about how tired I was etc etc. As soon as I did, people immediately picked up the phone, which convinced me that they actually could hear me whine. It was a little embarrassing, but boy, did I use that to my advantage to go home. (people were more sympathetic in non-American airlines, just so you know)
Pepsi dude... I'm howling 😂😂😂 but I feel you bro!
The Pepsi rant was an absolutely perfect example of the butterfly effect
Funny thing about the first one, I wish I knew. I'm a menopausal woman who has been receiving emails for almost 20 years for erectile dysfunction from many different companies. No idea how it started or how to make it stop.
Omfg yes!! I have literally gotten one whose subject wasn"dead penis" I think something got lost in translation
@@LorianneMG On Easter, I was showing my nephew a picture on my phone. He said, "Hey, Auntie... You just got an email for erectile dysfunction." Luckily he's in his 20s, but it was funny.
You sure menopause isn't causing you erectile dysfunction?
@@dustinriley8059 No, I still prevent it, lol
As a Pennsylvania resident, can confirm the Yum! ranter's take on minimum wage and why it's more difficult than ever to get service at fast food joints. I'm a Pepsi guy, but I've (mostly) cut soft drinks out of my diet.
$7.25 is the national minimum wage, it’s just that some states, or individual stores pay more. My Target right here in South Philadelphia pays $15/hour
Pepsi is WAY better than Coke. However, minimum wage should stay low because raising it just makes everything cost more. People think that companies are just going to lower their profits if minimum wage goes up. No, they will raise their prices. They aren't going to sacrifice profits for you. So quit trying to make everything more expensive, which just cancels out the raise in minimum wage anyway. It also lowers the value of every other job that was higher than minimum wage. It's not like all other wages automatically adjust when minimum wage goes up. Even if they did, that would just cancel out the raise in minimum wage, too.
Drives me nuts that people are so dumb about minimum wage and a "livable wage." Taco Bell isn't meant to be your lifelong career goal.
@@Karamarikay job that you work 40 hours per week at should be able to supply a paycheck that supports the cost of your rent, utilities, cell phone, and groceries - minimum. How is that even debatable? Every job should pay a liveable wage. Why tf should anyone work at a job that only pays them enough for gas money and car insurance so they can keep getting to and from their job? What tf is wrong with you? What bills do you think Taco Bell wages SHOULD cover if not LIVING EXPENSES. What should EMPLOYEES be WORKING FOR?
Edit: Btw- All fast food places DO sell/promote themselves to their employees as a place to keep working/make a career out of with promises of promotions to higher positions/wages. They WANT you and TELL you to make a career out of it before you even apply! They have promotional videos of people who started off as cashiers decades ago and worked their way up to [insert position with much higher wages here] with a fancier outfit. They just shot one in my hometown!
I feel bad for you guys. I'm in a small town near Seattle and our fast food places are paying almost $15 an hour.
Also I'm a cashier at Walmart and making almost $18 an hour. I'll be getting 20 within the next 2 years.
@Lillian Bartlesby no. The number of hours you work has no bearing on your pay other than getting paid for more hours. It does not mean you should be paid more per hour. It's an absurd expectation that every job will pay enough to live on. Then, you have to determine what level of living it should provide. Should it cover a studio? Support 1 person? More than 1? A whole family? A nice car? A clunker? So many variables.
If you aren't happy with what you're making, you make yourself more valuable. You don't insist that whatever job you have should pay you more because you "deserve a livable wage." You deserve what you are WORTH.
Of course, they are going to advertise the ability to move up. Moving up allows people to make more money and stay with the company, which costs them less in training. Moving up to a much higher position is NOT the same as staying as a cashier or line cook forever. I am not talking about working up to a district manager. I am talking about people who are still working the drive-through and expect to live off of that. That's not how it works, nor should it be. It's fully absurd to expect a job that requires bare minimum skill to pay all of your living expenses. You can't even begin to justify that economically. You will just be making everything outrageously expensive, causing massive inflation, and making it harder and harder for everyone to live. By trying to bring up the standard for the lowest paid employees, you only lower the standards for everyone else. Have some sense.
His rant (Pepsi guy) almost sounded like a Suicidal Tendencies song! 🤣😂🤣
I've always suspected some businesses could hear you while you were on hold. This is why I've always hit speaker then mute and stay on mute until they answer lol. Although that could just be out of laziness. I who really wants to hold their phone to their head forever while waiting!? I know I don't. So either way for me it's a win win lol!
Another way to get to the top of the phone queue for some places is to curse and swear while you're on hold. I have built call center scripts (the program that sends callers to the call center and places them in a hold queue). While taking a class they showed us how to program a way to listen to what the callers on hold are saying. If the system hears certain words, it bumps the caller up in the priority list of the queue. I was curious once when I was on hold with AT&T. I started snarling: "These f-ing jerks always keep you on hold until you give up! I'm so f-ing sick of...." And in an instant I was talking to a real person! This was quite a while ago so I don't know if it still works. But with AI joining the party, it would be even easier to build this into a call center script.
Ya that girl with the glasses wants to talk about people wasting her time then spends two minutes wasting time when she the whole video could have been, “if you don’t want to deal with automation, hit zero a whole bunch of times..”
@@yourlifeisagreatstory No, you can't just press zero a bunch of times. You have to press 0-#-0-#-0-#

LOVE!!! The first tip!! I learned this from a book character back in the day… DID NOT know I could get $$…
The Pennsylvania guy was the best.🤣🤣
I have found that if you book your Hotel through "booking" sometimes the parking fee is included as apposed to other online bookings like exp, and such....it is always best to book directly with the hotel tbh as if anything comes up they can help you directly instead of you having to call the third party who often does nothing
Yes to booking directly. Also I suggest to never book the nonrefundable rate that is usually cheaper. If your trip is far out enough , book the refundable rate which can be canceled 24 to 48 hrs before the date. Check the rates ongoing and wait until the rates go down and rebook. If they don't go down and the nonrefundable is still cheaper, cancel at that time and book that. I just did this today and saved 70 dollars.
I always book directly with the hotel. I'll often do a quick search on Google or some other site, and if a hotel fits my needs, I'll head straight to the hotel's specific site and book it there. I've found it can save me a little money in doing so, plus check-ins are smoother with less issues/complications since they don't need to verify things with a third party.
Something similar I found out...
Back when I still had Verizon as my carrier..
You should ALWAYS call the 800 phone number!!

A fun one from like 10 years ago, so I don't know if it still applies: At Cinemark theaters, you get a free refill as long as the bucket tab is still attached. You can bring it home, and then bring the empty bucket the next time you're seeing a movie. People would go through the trash and bring up empty buckets and get their popcorn for free. Gross, but whatever works for them.
They quit doing free refills when the pandemic started

I’ve actually used the live listen. You can leave your phone, locked, on the counter or anywhere in the room and listen in as well. It doesn’t have to be the other AirPod. I used this when I worked in a phone store so I could go out and smoke and still hear when the phone would ring lmao.

The Pepsi rant was hilarious
I used to be an insurance agent. At least in the company I worked for, the occupation and marital status stuff was solely based on statistics of accidents, reckless driving, etc. This changes as time goes on. There was a time when single drivers, ages 18-25, regardless of occupation, were getting extremely low rates. People with certain degrees did receive lower rates, but you had to prove your degree otherwise you’d lose the discount.
There is sooooo much that goes into rating in the company I worked for, but it is mostly based on statistics.
Can confirm being in pricing for over 20yrs it's a black box thanks to the evolution of rating. Also most departments of ins have ruled you can't surcharge for occupation and education so at most someone is just getting a better tiring score than you. That lady probably hasn't been an agent is years. Your details were awesome to add to the context of what goes into it!
