As you should
Protip everyone. Get to 100 meter and then do DI into Tyrant Rave if your opponents are new. The super in DI does absurd amounts of chip damage, so if they don't know to FD it, they just melt and panic. This works exactly once per person and is hilarious every time to me.

I have a friend who finally got around to trying xrd because of rollback and he gravitated towards sol. I hope this'll be cool for him!
If sol still had riot stamp in strive he would be top 1
If he was exactly the same, but had Riot Stamp on his movelist, the character would be the lowest tier
If Sol Badguy had no moves except for riot stamp, he'd be mid tier probably
If Sol had no moves, he'd easily be top tier.
If Sol has dustloop in strive they start you one round down
They never expect another riot stamp round start

Thanks a lot Sajam, I just went back to Xrd from Strive and since Zato is so different I started to give Ky and Sol a chance, but Sol didn't click for me. I'll try it once more.

Jam is as easy as it gets lol. The problem I see with people picking up Jam for the first time is that they're SO SURE there's more to the character than what they're seeing at face value, but there isn't. She's actually that easy lmao.
Thanks for making this video, Sajam! I just started getting into Xrd the other day and Sol is the character I want to learn, so this video is perfect. But I wanted to ask, when exactly should I start learning or trying to do dustloops? I come from Strive, so that is as far as my FG experience goes. tl;dr should I start learning dustloops as a beginner now or later?
Definitely later. While they're saucy and one of the most damaging combos of his, the timing between the dusts is small so learn easier stuff first. My personal favorite that I do is Fafnir (Or whatever good starter that I get in corner) > 6P > 5H > j.D > j.D > land and after running jump j.D > j.D > land > j.D > jc > j.D > j.214B > Either Volcanic Viper > Knockdown or 6P > 6H > Gunflame feint depending how I feel. Or you can even Tyrant Rave after j.214B.

This may be a weird question but I see good Sol players always doing j.P whenever they jump. Is there any reason for it?

It's never going to get as saucy as this. That's what happens when your game isn't combo heavy or full of options.

From what I've heard, the rkd matchmaking is region locked and still puts you in 55 delays matches.
That's the answer I've got when wondered about it 2 years ago

Call me scrubby, it's fine and prob accurate, but I feel so free and fluid with Sol in Strive, whereas picking him up in Xrd I feel stiff as a board and uncertain of my approach. Admittedly I've next to no time in Xrd.

Sol has more mix, more tools, and is more of a threat in xrd than in strive. yet they strive version of him is still broken as fuck despite the numerous nerfs. Why? Strive fails to give the player Options to deal with strive Sol. Anyone can cook with Sol in strive; only kings can cook with xrd Sol.
