But this story took a bizarre turn when, just weeks later, Bester was photographed - alive and well - at a grocery store in Johannesburg. It took a team of investigative journalists to finally uncover how the murderer had strolled out of prison in a brazen escape. A manhunt for him and his lover, Nandipha Magudumana ended with the two being hauled back to South Africa from Tanzania. Now, as Bester awaits trial for numerous crimes related to the escape, Carte Blanche examines how he went from being a charming schoolboy to a ruthless killer.

There's a lot of Thabo Besters out there, this guy just happened to be caught!!! That's it!!
Even worse than him. Sadly some of them are walking the streets, married with children, working in corporate companies etc. They just haven't killed anyone yet! But when you meet them, you will get shivers down your spine.
And that is what makes this situation even scarier. It literally could be someone we've encountered with before, right before our eyes.

Im beginning to think Thabo's issue is psychological. This guy is sick, there's no other explanation. This is a psychiatric case.
He might not be all there upstairs but he’s able to tell right from wrong and critically think out plans of action so he is healthy enough to face the noise.

lol 😂The law is weird like that.. The court hasn't ruled yet so for legal purposes..
they have to say "alleged" so Carte-Blanche can't be sued for defamation if the court
ends up finding them innocent on certain charges that were filed. It's for Safety😅

I disagree, this kind of stories needs to be told everyday its part of awareness, if there was any kind of incidents like this happening sowhere in the country people will be frightened and scared to be caught and stop. It will make sure it is not forgotten by the victims and society and justice must prevailed Narrative like this subtle encourage departments to do their job otherwise case tends to vanish into thin air
