over the years of Kawasaki copying itself.. they have built renditions of the Zs and KZs let the famous Eddie Lawson campaigned in the superbikers series .. and year before last the Eddie Larson replica was the most beautiful Kawasaki I've ever seen.. but right now I cannot tell you or show you or type you any reference to what I'm talking about because Google AI has decided for me that I don't need to see anything older than 1983.. have you ever find this recent version doesn't look like anything from the past.. but it is painted in the traditional stripes and all Kawasaki green except it's a pearl green that sparkles add close up and the factory quarter race fairing is old school British Ace Cafe.. around 900 cc's.. what's today's average performance for a rice rocket that size. But that's all I can remember of the specs as Google will not let me see a picture of it.. but I can only get the real super bikers bikes ready to race better butt ugly.. light Freddy Spencer's Honda 1100 super sport Anna Wes Cooley's GS1000 all roller bearing crank blue and white half bearing with working gauges in it... But this latest Eddie Lawson replica is a game changer.. and when I was stealing a picture of it did Chuck who works kind of as a parts manager sales representative service writer for screamin eagle stages and the man who will twist your arm to force you to sign the work order for stage 4 after you buy the brand new bike
I showed him the Eddie Lawson and he froze for a moment and said I've got to have that bike.. 2 years ago I believe they were in the 12ish price range. And as it's been driven out of the showroom and find a used one that's over 2 years old may start to get closer to our price range that will never get to the magical prices the gold wings have came to as you can buy a used one 4 Bangor fully loaded running 4 round 300 bucks now. The gold ring you showed us at barracuda Harley that was the sale of the day brand new cost $5,000 more than a Harley now it's worth $5,000 cheaper than a used Harley and a brand new Yamaha r1 that all the kids love to brag about next to Harley as the Harley is it slow piece of s***cost 2x more than their rice rocket ... Not anymore , price the 2024 Yamaha R1m .. we are north of CVO prices
I was foaming at the mouth for the past few days awaiting the next installment of the Southern Savant and the Bearded Babbler
I really like these Ran When Parked Videos. Joe is a great teacher.
Thank you Dave!! I greatly appreciate the thoughts 👍
Joe is AWESOME! Sir, you should be teaching. Loving the shirts!
Josh, no shit brother... Your channel is one of the best on youtube. Your generosity, your honesty, you sharing all the info you do and you being you, is always a pleasure to watch. I mean gaddamn hell, you got me back in the saddle and made me get my bike 4 years ago and the memories since are unforgettable! Many thanks and man, you often mention the bad person doing good things 😉, the world would much better place if everyone did a fraction of what you do. I would love to get piss drunk with all a y'all one day! lol
Kind words my friend, I appreciate the support!! Nothing makes me happier than getting someone into or back into riding :)
8:12 Joe is the Encyclopedia Britannica of 2 wheeled machines!!!!
I'm a fountain of useless information 🤣
I could watch these videos all day long. Joe is incredible!
I could listen to you guys talk about bikes all day
Joe the mountain Jedi and the bearded Mechanic can make any old non running bike run like new.
Now THAT sounds like a challenge I'd be willing to take on!!!
@The_Bearded_Mechanic 👀
Any video with Joe in it definitely gets a thumbs up from me! Dude knows his stuff!!!
Joe proves that a southern accent does not preclude a sharp mind. I could listen to him talk bikes at length.
Hey man, I may have come to town on the turnip truck, but I made damned good and sure I rode in on the front seat!!😁
I will never again say a ailing motorcycle needs T-L-C. Anything with two wheels that needs a little J-O-E !!!! No matter your trade or your skill set you got to give that man respect what an absolute magician and wealth of knowledge. Loving this series love everything you do Josh. Keep it weird boys
My vote is to add a carb rebuild video from Joe. He's a realistic and genuine guy who knows a lot that can only come up in the moment and that info is incredible to have
Joe is amazing. Love the videos. Keep them coming
Ahhh! It's always good to hear a machine come to life after a long sleep.
Pretty cool seeing Joe dial that bike in. Continue the Ran when parked and continue Joe's Flashy shirts
It always makes me happy when an old motorcycle gets woken up from a long sleep.
Yeah, me too......
I hate to think of how many iconic bikes over the years have been left to rot😡
This series is really teaching HUGE amounts of great knowledge. Thanks, Joe, Josh, and crew!
I'm n the cusp of believing.. 5 or 6 more miracles and ill be convinced Joe the mountain Jedi knows motorcycles.
You are leaving a great motorcycle legacy behind with these series!
That man is a fount of knowledge !
Joe reminds me of a guy I knew years ago working at a marina that was an OMC guru. People from the factory called him for info
Starts in under a second, and has an almost instantaneous throttle response....Nice work Joe!
Josh, this series is a genius idea, brother.
Thanks
JOE OE ! ! HE`s OUR MAN ! IF HE CAN`T Get It Running NO ONE Can ! ! KEEP IT WEIRD ! !
👍👍👍👍👍
Josh! This is grade A stuff!
Joe!!! 100%
Motorcycle genius!
That dude is a genius.
Nah no debate rotella is where its at. No issues on the multiple bikes ive ran it through. My step dad has a shop been saying the same stuff for years.
I like this new segment, even if it's 'only a Kwakkiezakkie'(load from a scrotum)😁 Kawi, kawi made of tin, ride it out and push it back in. That's my kind of humor.
This is the content we need I don’t mind listening to you rant and you ride shaking your fist but this stuff is what I’m here for
Aced it again gentlmen keep the old bikes living well done joe you're a legend
More Joe please. This was great
Never thought I’d say it; Mondays, my fav day of the week.
You have to respect a Jedi with a manometer. Great video guys.
Joe, the mountain Jedi as Dr Frankenstein with the work, this dude can do.
I'm a huge fan of this series, Joe is the GOAT!
You do a superb job on this channel all around one of the best
This is a fantastic series and an even better series title.
J&J what a duo on an honorable mission there! Perfect blend of know how and entertainment.
Thanks Sammy!!!!... Glad you enjoyed it, and I hope I helped you learn something 👍
Thank you Shadetree for bringing us Joe! Such a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to watch. Just another reason to stay tuned in to Shadetree Army…
He's good no kidding that manknows his shit...
FINALLY!! Something to look forward to on a Monday night!
I've watched the two so far and they are brilliant. Educational and funny as fvck . You know someone is good at their job when they make it look so easy
Glad you're enjoying the series, and I appreciate you taking the time to watch!!
Love this new channel. Looking forward to more!
Always loved those old Kawai monster 900's. Great to see you guys treating a cool old muscle bike with the respect it deserves.
Wait till next week.....you'll see some "respectful operation"😁
This is awesome! There are not a lot of videos with so much detail when doing fixes/rebuilds. I don't think any provide so much info on all the repairs and history, subscribed to patreon as well, waiting for more!
I know first hand you can make these bikes fire breathers. Carbs cams port the head and its a monster
We "may" get there eventually with the ZiL...... budget (or lack thereof) is the limiting factor, unfortunately 😅
15:37
I REMEMBER that sound! That's a real snot monster ya got there!
Sorry I missed the premiere!!! It was a tough Monday on the grind!!! Army!!!! 0:53
joe the Mountain Jedi's is like the Alan Watts of motorcycle Zen...
After the initial video, I first had all the pleasant memories, then remembered that this is the bike that taught me a big lesson. NEVER lend your bike to a mate! I would still have mine now if I had not done that. I have looked at getting another one a few times over the years but here in the UK you only seem to find parts.
18:21 is the biggest nerdchanic (nerdy mechanic) flex I've ever seen from Joe.
#mechanicsfidgetspinner
Thank you both for creating these videos.Truly a joy to watch.
Thanks for taking the time to watch!!... Hope it was worth the time, and hope you may have learned something 👍
Brap star Joe the mountain Jedi button shirts I will buy three of them!!!!!!!!!!!!
These episodes I great love the no bull, honest and fun it looks like you guys have
Gotta be my favorite episodes on the channel right now!
If you like this, you're gonna LOVE what we have lined up for the future!!
Man can't wait to see the road test. Really glad you guys started this one.
really enjoyed the content with joe the mountain jedi! definitely be someone id love to pick his brain with motors lol always went to my industrial maintenance class earlier than usual just for that reason. that guy has 40 plus years in the field i was studying in!
That was awesome! You guys are way better than OCC or West Coast Choppers ever were. And a Josh, you are a wordsmith with your quite juicy monologues. Hats off to Joe for some excellent hands on work !
I am really enjoying this series.
Joe has the voice for old school how to movies you used to watch in school. Damn fellas. This series... super fine. I was one of those older subs that was for the bikes and the mechanics and not the wimmin and shenanigans etc. This is back on point for me. I dont want you to change just super happy you got some content that I feel that if a random woman saw me watching she would shake her head out of disappointment rather than rage. And... I watched this before the first one. Goddamn. Its like the star wars series yet this time the prequel will be better.
Lol, well.....
Brace yourself for "episode VI" next week 😉
@@joeyother9969 so the return of the jedi ? where has he been ? :D
These videos are a great idea 👍
i for one am not the least bit offended by the rotella
Appreciate old school talent and knowledge! Kick ass bike too!
Thank you on both counts!!
Josh this a great series. Can’t wait to see it on the street. You guys take care and ride safe. Almost forgot I got my shirts the other day love them.
Its the best show on CZcams! Love It
my friend had one of these. I had a Kawasaki ex 500. Ahh the good old days!
Really appreciate you and Joe making this series! Really lit my fire to get working on my old GPz again and gave me some helpful tips as well! Looking forward to the next episode.
mountain jedi is one smart feller .. great video 👍
There are tons of channels out there that do “will it run” videos but none of them are as knowledgeable as Joe is or do half as good a job explaining everything. I am definitely going to head over to his Patreon
I appreciate it Mike!!👍
I had 74 Vega brake pads on my 79 GS750L because, at the time, you could find those for $10 at the wrecker and they fit but the Suzuki pads were $40.
HOWdy S-T-S, & JOE the Mountain JEDI
Joe is quite the WORD-SMITH !
Thanks
COOP
the WiSeNhEiMeR from Richmond, INDIANA
...
I've owned many Kaw's....solid bikes all.
Sounded righteous, guys!
I love this series.
Love this !!!!! Joe your the MAN !!!!
Got to say I've enjoyed watching these collabs, it's always awesome watching someone truly skilled beyond the pale. Joe is a national treasure.
Fantastic work, Fellers! I learned some good things from Joe. Thanks!
Really cool to see you get it running. Sounds great. Good vid
I think Joe should run his own motorcycle channel. To an Asian like me, he sounds like cowboy from the movie that I love to watch back days. The cowboy with his iron horse.
Fantastic yet again! Love it! You guys seem to have found the magic sauce for both informative and entertaining. Excellent stuff!
I ride a 2011 vaquero
Most reliable bike I’ve owned. Also one of the best riding too
Smoke them m8s all day too
This week I’m getting a 2013 cross country as well
Your beginning montage was wonderful! Keep up all your great work. And I love the v65 content as I have an 85 1100 dad bought it new in 85 and I still love it.
The bike sounds wonderful I would like to see him tackle a Virgo starter and make it not sound like a broken garbage disposal
So, what color would you like your unicorn??🤣🤣
What year Virgie are we talking about here?
@@joeyother9969 well I see there is one in Hernando as a 1982 750 in blue doesn't look to terrible but do go not sure what's wrong with it don't think it would take to get it running again
Just sent add to shade tree 's page while would be nice to help out I have had some health issues and not working otherwise I would try
Cousins getting married lmao 🤣 yall funny 🤣
Damn the pair of you! You two have this sixty something actually waiting for, anticipating, looking forward to the next chapter of this story. A goddam swamp wizard video series has me actually eagerly awaiting the next release.....a frikkin video....
That thing sounds like a straight up ripper. Awesome
Lol ....
You'll get to hear it next week 😉
Thank you for the oil tip!
Down to earth knows what he is talking about, funny. Joe for president.
I totally forgot about the monday RWP episode lol; good stuff as always though! "Joe's the guy that knows"
another fine presentation!😎👏
Great content
loved this video. I rode a 1975 KAW H1 Mach 3 from 75-80. Suprised I lived...go fast in a straight line, just don't try and turn :D
I'm loving this series boys. Most recent carb fun I had was my 96 Honda ST1100 "project" bike that became my current daily ride.
Good on ya man!!!.... Mack when they first came out, my dad was half a breath away from buying a st, but he went with the venture royale instead.....
If he only knew what kind of doors that bike opened me up to.......😍
The ST1100 is an under estimated all rounder. It's my bad weather bike as well. It shares the shed with a Harley, Triumph and Victory. You truly do meet the worst people on a Honda 😎
Super helpful stuff to learn for a noob
Cool. Joe's the man.
Rotella, the KLR loves it. Great video
Love this guy my first bike was a fzr 600 love learning tricks and hacks from old heads there the best to learn from I’m restoring a zrx1200 and the master tech where I work use to build them and Ive learned so many hidden tricks the guys back then just know how to build badass old piss rockets!
She's sounding good.
If ever in CT. You should visit Kaplan's shop and museum. Its a pretty cool place.
Joe, you're a true professional; thank you for that! Josh; you're still a lot of noise with good friends. This Kawasaki however is and will be a ticking time bomb waiting to destroy it selves.
Ask yourself; would you want to be on this Kawasaki when the big boom happens... Probably at Ramming speed...? Guess what Josh, what I am saying here is based upon reality. I do not feel like talking trash just like that. I always base my statements up on facts as they are. Facts Josh, plain old facts. You may want to disagree with me, but facts you just simply cannot deny.
I really enjoy these video's with Joe, thanks !!
Glad I could put out something worth watching man!!!
Check back next Monday.....things are getting weird!!
