If you have a packing video idea, share it below!
Weekend girls trip. 4night work conference - business casual in the day and cute outfits for bar/restaurant with grad school friends at night.
You got it! I'll put it on the list
A trip like disneyworld or some amusement park where you’re super sweaty after each day and HAVE to change clothes. 😅😂. So like amusement park outfits and accessories plus the night/evening outfits that are nicer😊
I have it on the list! 💕 no sweaty clothes in your tumi allowed haha
I love your videos and how you pack for "us" - very helpful!
I'm so glad! Thank you 🥰
This is a helpful video because it also works (for the most part) for flying to a family funeral. Same type of clothes, though maybe with different shoes.
This is not a joke. I've never seen a channel pack full sized bras with underwire. I don't know if that you get you demonetized, but some of us of a certain age or size will not take a trip wearing a bralette. A "bra" packing cube I bought ended up being too small for my bras, in fact, I think it was only for very small bras, and I would have had to fold them instead of laying them flat as the cube intended. I usually fold my bras, but finding a cube that fits them is hard. My cup size isn't that large, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. If it will get you demonetized, don't worry about it.
I would like to see a 2 climate video. I went to a cold country in Jan, directly to a tropical country before going home. Winter clothes take up a lot of room. Thanks for another great video.
I’ll have to buy some bras and do it 😂 I’m a 42 D but I wear the busty bralette only, I don’t like underwires. I’ll try to make a bra one. I think it’s ok, as long as I don’t show me in my undies 😂
Dual climate trip is coming soon. Filming tomorrow. It’s my most requested!
@@ItsTheKellys Don't buy any new bras that you will not wear! I didn't know there was a busty bralette. None of the bralettes I've seen have support. Please show the busty bralette since it will be bulkier than a regular size small bralettes that other travelers show. Also, it will show us that there are out there for those of us who need more support. I have yet to see travel videos showing bras above a size small. Thanks!
You got it! I’ll thrift one with an underwire though 😘😘 I do the busty one from Branwyn! It’s the only one I wear
This is such a thoughtful idea! I’m excited to see what the series brings! 💜
Edit: adding a scenario! Packing for 2 climates. Fall for somewhere cool like Japan and fall in warmer Thailand.
That is definitely my most requested video, and I am filming it tomorrow!
I think my biggest issue is folding/rolling things up tightly enough to be able to fit as much as possible in a packing cube, so by the time I'm done, I've used too many packing cubes and my clothes are a mess! LOL. Would you be able to incorporate some folding or rolling tutorials while you're packing to show how you get so much stuff in such a small space? We wear the same size clothes so I know I would definitely find that helpful! It doesn't help that I suck at Tetris! 🙂
Yes, I actually want to do that! I have so many ways of rolling or folding specific items, but a lot of it depends on the size too. For example, my size 18/20 jeans have to be rolled, but a size 2-4 can be folded better.
Trip: 3 nights in warm days cool nights. 1 day of hiking in a federal park with some rough terrain and you will be gone all day so you will need snacks and/or lunch and water, 1 day city exploring and a nice dinner out. Flying home in the evening of the 3rd day so 3rd day is whatever but you have to check out by 11. Weather says it might rain some on all the days. Temps are going to be in the 80s during the day, down close to 60s during the night.
I have a 12 day cruise in the Fall going around the UK; England, Scotland & Ireland. Cooler, rainy weather which means layers and jackets. Cruise attire including 2 formal nights. All in a Carry on & a personal bag. Help! I’m assuming a capsule wardrobe, I wear XL for reference. Thank you, love your channel! ❤
Got ya! 💕
Yes!
We were just in Ireland for a 10 day tour, covering the entire island and staying in hotels. Not doing laundry. I used my raincoat as my coat and it worked out well, a couple days I just layered under it. I only packed one pair of shoes and I was nervous about the shoes getting soaked but we got lucky and it only rained one day of the 10 and I had an umbrella. Definitely don't forget the umbrella, unless you want to purchase one when you arrive.
I am so excited for you! Such a fun trip you have planned!
You are the queen of packing! Amazing
This made me really excited to use my mini weekender for the first time next month. Packing carry on only for a trip to London and Paris!
🥰🥰🥰 so proud! Have fun!!
You are the best. I enjoy your videos and find them very informative
I appreciate that! Thank you
Six days in a cold climate-carry on only
Coming soon! I’ve also done this one already, check out the packing playlist.
Loved this vlog.
Thank you!!
I have BOTH the Underseat Pro luggage and their backpack. I love love love the Underseat Pro backpack..its very forgiving and allows to expand a little..I LOVE IT
Yes, I love it too! My video for it comes out next week 💕
@ItsTheKellys you know I'm waiting for your approval before I buy it, lol!
Next Saturday darling 💕
This is BEYOND helpful, thank you so so so so much!!!
You're so welcome!
Take the new suitcases to the airport sizers!!! Winter carry on only. Winter personal item only.
If they are regulation size, I don’t take them to the airport Because they will fit in all of them :) plus the sizers are too hard now Because what fits vs what is allowed is always different
This was extremely helpful. This helps me with weekend getaways for road trips.
Glad it was helpful!
Maybe a video For weekend girls trip (when you are tempted to bring tons of shoes and clothes for when going out).
Sure :) I was almost thinking like a bachelorette weekend or something. I just watched a reel of a girl going to Paris for 7 days and packing 10 pairs of heels. OMG haha
Fall eurotrip! 😊
Or… gifts for travelers !! (I’m on mission to make my parents’ upcoming trip easy since they agreed to use carry on and backpack only lol)
I posted a fall packing video since this one!
Great video!! Excited to see these 😊
Yay! Thank you!
Great video can’t wait to see more of these. 🌺
Thank you! I’m so excited for all of the great ideas!
This is amazing! Thank you for doing these videos.
My pleasure!
Great video! I'd love to see you pack one of the personal item backpacks because I'm more of a backpack person myself. I think you got that Open Story one from Target and I don't think I've seen you use it yet. Or the July one too would be great! I just suck at packing those up efficiently. LOL Thanks for always listening to all our crazy requests! 😊
The open story and july are very very small, they can barely fit one packing cube, so it would be hard to do personal item only with them, but with every packing video for a carry-on, I want to pack a personal item too.
❤thank you ❤
Thank you so much for making this video❣️ Exactly what I needed to see for ideas on what to do 😊 The extra outfits were so helpful
I'm so glad!
This was SO helpful! My sister's wedding is coming up in December and this helped me a ton!
I’m so glad 💕💕
Thank you, I too am a 2xl every time I see a travel packing the lady’s are rail thin I feel they can pack more then myself…
I know this is a stretch, I love to take pictures when I travel, can you create a video, CARRY ON WITH CLOTHING AND CAMERA.. because I travel with carryon which my suitcase is 22 or 20 inch it goes over head, but my under seat bag has my camera I can’t put as much … thank you in advance & love your CZcams channel..
Sure. What kind of camera do you travel with? Lenses? I travel with a ton of gear, especially if I’m bringing multiple cameras. It’s harddddd
This was WONDERFUL! THANK YOU!
How about a vloggers 12 day trip to Japan during the spring? 1 carry on and 1 personal item (in the Beis) that will bring all your tech too?
(Apologies if already requested or done. Ill be going through your series)
Which beis personal item?
@ItsTheKellys oh my gosh thank you for the reply! I was thinking the mini weekender. But honestly, I would be interested to see which personal item you would use for a trip like this.
Love this idea! I’d love to see a 5-7day business trip to Europe in carry on and personal item
I do want to ask everybody that is asking for a business trip packing… What they need to wear for business. As a hairstylist, we just wear super trendy stuff, so I need to know what everybody’s work appropriate attire is. Are we talking suits? Are we talking nice pants and blouses? Heels?
@@ItsTheKellys my job usually required business casual attire. Possibly a blazer but not required. I usually wear jeans and a blazer or nice tops with flats depending on the weather
Thank you, l was actually wondering how to pack a suit when l'm travelling for business ,well now l know , thanks L a great packing instructor
Glad it was helpful!
Going on an 11 day Mediterranean cruise in May. Ideas for carry on baggage and personal item. Thank you!
Any luggage I’ve ever reviewed on here would be fine. It’s more up to the airline and your personal likes and dislikes
Thanks for doing this type of video, Lauren. Very helpful! Our upcoming trip will be 3 nights in Paris, then 2 weeks in Italy, then back to Paris for one night before heading back to the states. Excited but also nervous! My usual clothing choices are sandals and skorts since I live at the beach. None of which is appropriate for Europe in the fall!
I did a fall one in this series! Hopefully that can help you 💕
I love your videos! I am trying to travel more and live vicariously through your travel videos. I was able to get a Heys carry-on for $100.80 including tax thanks to you! We have 2 trip’s already planned. I was looking for your bra link that is sweat whisking and did not remember what video it is. Can you share it again please? I am a teacher on the second floor in a 1950s building. Sometimes it gets up to 90+ . Sweat whisking clothes are a definite must! Having you gone on a hunt for moisturizing bar conditioners? This curly wants to know.
Yay! You will love it! The bra is from Branwyn, and here is a link and a code. I have both versions. branwyn.com/laurenkelly (code LaurenKelly)
And look into ethique for the bars. I believe they have some for curly hair.
I'm fixing to do a quick trip packing video but I feel like I have a lot more things. Truthfully it's mainly my clothes are just bigger as a size 28/30. I wish I could do weekender bags
Have you mastered the capsule wardrobe yet? It is truly a game changer. You're only a few sizes above me, and I think as long as you roll/fold strategically, use cubes, and follow a capsule wardrobe, that it can be done.
Often times I see women packing so many toiletries or more shoes, and those are what can take up the most room, and clothing is usually not the problem.
That medium packing cube I used is what I fit my entire capsule wardrobe in, and a weekender could actually fit 2 of them in there. You could do it, girl! :) :)
I have seen people remove the metal bars from the “doctor bag” mouth. Have you ever considered doing so?
Oooh! I should try it on my dupe first!
Can you share the outfits you would wear? I love this concept.
I Will be in future videos! But I am using my own wardrobe, which isn’t necessarily new stuff, so I want everyone to know it can’t all be linked, and it’s not always everyone’s style :)
How about a weekend trip to Chicago in the fall? With casual but cute clothes & comfortable shoes! - love your channel btw!
Thank you! I will be filming a fall wardrobe one soon, it will be for a longer trip, but you can cut it down for a weekend :)
@@ItsTheKellys I'd like to see packing for a longer fall trip too! - I wanna be a carry on only person but it's so hard! 🤣
Would like your ideas for packing for a week in Paris in early November. Thanks!
I’ll be doing a fall video very soon! With outerwear options for mild or cold!
Love the video but one question for that type of trip. What about electronics? If you need a laptop or phone. Or camera gear?
Since it is just a quick wedding trip, I wouldn’t bring anything but my phone and a charger. I figured most people wouldn’t bring a laptop when you have multiple events in a weekend, But both bags had laptop spaces.
If I was going to pack a ton of camera gear, then I would consider bringing a carry-on bag, and not a personal item.
I would love to see your ideas for a 7 day trip that’s casual capsule. I work out of town for one week per month but my job is working with kids so I could literally wear a T shirt and jeans every day lol. So the business trip packing videos are sooooooo far off for me. Also I’m working on trying to just take a backpack only, just because I don’t wear half of what I bring.
Sure thing. If you haven’t seen my original 5 steps to building a capsule wardrobe video, I suggest starting with that. It just goes over how to make one, regardless of the destination or type of trip :)

Can you pack in the Etronik Amazon Beis dupe?
I’d consider it one day, but I’ve filmed beis weekender dupes already, and there’s hundreds of them out there that are extremely similar. I think they are all better than the Beis, to be honest
@@ItsTheKellys I was more thinking on what you can pack in it. I think you do some of the vets videos on that out there. And I watch a lot of them. I just wished people showed the outfits they wore, not sjusy the items. I always struggle with rewearing- it’s hot where I travel most times and I hate rewearing which is really the way to reduce clothes. Also as an idea, could you do a theme park, and a funeral or thanksgiving as a packing ideas? Also a city trip vs a beach and lastly a trip on temperatures. Packing for Vermont is different than AZ
Does the mini weekender fit easily under the seat of the place, even with the bottom attached? Would you recommend it please?
It will if it’s on its side!
5 month exchange trip?😅 Plus travelling after the semester😅
Where and when?
@@ItsTheKellys leaving 15th August for America 😅
Do you have a recommendation for something similar to the Beis seat back organizer?
I have seen people use these ones:
amzn.to/3qeubcS and amzn.to/43YOloZ
However, I usually pack a "plane bag" and have all of my flight essentials in there, and put it in the seat back pocket. Usually a thin bag thats maybe 10 x 8
@@ItsTheKellysThank you
Question I have a Denver trip coming up in October. Picking boots is the problem. The boots I wanna wear could go with tights/leggings/sweaters and the others are hiking boots. I do wanna walk around but I don't think only taking the cute boots make sense. I figure I know your answer already but what do you think/suggest?
I’d wear the hiking boots on the plane, and try to fit the others in your bag. You will just have to be more strict with other things. Capsule wardrobe. Minimal toiletries, etc. :) you can do it!
@ItsTheKellys thank you so much. The Toiletries dept is what gets me . I'm trying to take less . Thanks for the boost of confidence !
How to pack a carry-on for a 10 day Alaskan trip including warm clothes and jacket for a plus size women
Cruise or regular trip? Ive had a lot of Alaska requests, even though I haven’t been. But I have done Norway and Antarctica, so I feel prepared
Thank you for taking the time to answer me
It is greatly appreciate.
We are not sure yet. Thinking cruise and we are going in May or August of next year, and I am a 2x-3X depending on the clothes. My biggest concern is packing a heavy coat if we fly there we are doing carry-on Either way. We live in Washington State so cruise is close.
@@LadyWinterHawk14 have coat always goes in your arms on the plane! Doesn’t count against your items and can go in the overhead bin. And some people love a thin packable one. I did that for Patagonia and it was my pillow on the plane :)
Do you find the mini weekender heavy when it was all packed up if you had to carry on your shoulder for 2+ hours
Yes, but any duffel will be heavy, not just that one.
@@ItsTheKellys understood BUT, is it MORE heavy lol… ?
@@Mommyingthis I plan on doing a comparison video soon and I’ll weigh them all haha
Does the mini weekender pack a little more?
I feel that the underseat pro can fit more, but it depends on what you’re packing really.
I'd love to see a video packing for a 5 day work trip, where more conservative clothing (which can be bulkier than tanks and crop tops) is required.
Here you go!
