    It's nice to see you being sponsored by them as you were the one who got me to buy Beis with your TikTok packing videos and I've gotten so many of my friends on it! ;)

    I’m so stoked you posted this review because I’m definitely gonna get the small carry on and you’re my favorite organization/packing content creator! Also, totally random but you sound a bit like Amanda Seyfried. Have you ever gotten that before?😂

    I recently bought the July light carry on which is a similar small roller. Since I have a trip to New Zealand and Australia coming up February of next year, and the airlines I’m using have a strict weight limit of 7 kg, I wanted a very light carryon.

      I got that one too for a trip tomorrow, where our limit is 8 kg (Scandinavian Air). It is so light I was able to put in all my clothes for 10 days, including a winter coat, and stay under 7 kg.

      Yeah I would pick july over beis for this use case too. For 33L, 7lbs is too heavy compared to July’s 3.9lbs for 32L

      @@catiejohnson7910I bought my daughter the Mini. We flew through France and Spain last summer. In France it was no problem since we flew with Air France and they have larger planes now in Spain it was! we flew with Vueling and even though the attendant didn’t flag it, it didn’t fit on the overhead bin. luckily the attendant allowed us to place it under the seat and it fit! 😅

      @@hazelb282 thank you very much really good to know. I’m curious as to these two in comparison to the heys air light. Ideally want to buy one bag that would be the best for international travel. And can fit the most lol

    Thank you for your review. I just got the BEIS small carry on and OMG it’s cute! But so much smaller than my MONOS reg carry on (not the plus).. My Monos has been on Air Canada, Air France and KLM- no issue. The new BEIS is almost too small? I fly carry on only. I am doing KLM business class this summer and they allow 2 carry on… thinking 2 BEIS would be better? Thoughts?

    • @LeahMariOrganization
      @LeahMariOrganization  Před 12 dny +3

      If you’re flying with two carry ons, it would be easiest to bring a roller and a weekender over the trolley handle

  • @RK-um9tu
    @RK-um9tu Před 13 dny +2

    Small Carry-on is only 33.5L which is TOO small...
    OG Carry-on is 49L(61L expanded) which is fine for United, Delta, Southwest, American, Alaska, Spirit, Frontier, JetBlue

    • @sirimity
      @sirimity Před 12 dny +5

      The small carry on is for international travel, they’re very strict about size and weight. The regular carry on would just get checked. Most of the US airlines won’t hassle you, as long as you can pick up your own suitcase, but it they run out of room, the larger carryons will be first to get checked.

    • @itstawanza
      @itstawanza Před 11 dny +2

      @@sirimityI agree. I’m flying in Asia this summer and the carryon rules are so strict. Like 7kg total and the dimensions are really small

    • @yeahhi3207
      @yeahhi3207 Před 10 dny +3

      I live in Canada and none of our airlines would accept the OG carry on size, it would immediately get checked at the gate. Glad they came out with this smaller one!

  • @TheStoli5

    Is there a reason you didn’t use packing cubes? Do you think you’d be able to get even more in using a packing cube?

    • @monikaliebold4225
      @monikaliebold4225 Před 4 dny

      I've just tested with and without packing cubes. I used for both same folding method as shown in video. Without packing cubes and pressing my wardrobe as shown in video I got in 3 T-Shirts, 1 blouse and 2 Yoga pants more than compared to using packing cubes.

    • @TheStoli5
      @TheStoli5 Před 4 dny

      @@monikaliebold4225 interesting so in this case with the mini the packing cubes are not helpful? I know I would probably then fit even less as I am mid size…size 16 so my clothes are bigger 😆

    • @monikaliebold4225
      @monikaliebold4225 Před 4 dny +1

      @@TheStoli5 In my case they are not helpful. The material of my packing cubes (2), I packed, needs too much space in the Mini. I even couldn't squeeze some stuff (Yoga pants) within the inner length side of the Mini as I could without packing cubes. You should try it with "test packing", how it works for you. Meanwhile there are ultra-light/thin packing cubes available. They might be a good choice for the Mini.

    • @TheStoli5
      @TheStoli5 Před 4 dny

      @@monikaliebold4225 i’m debating about if I want to purchase the mini kids roller or the small carry-on. I would never use it for air travel. It would only be for road trips. Something where I would need clothes for roughly 3 days. But I am midsize. So my clothes are larger. I have quite a few different packing cubes. Some are compression some are not. I would love for someone to do a video comparing the two rollers packing the same amount of clothes in each of the rollers to see which actually holds more. I’m thinking the mini probably holds more than the small carry-on?

    • @monikaliebold4225
      @monikaliebold4225 Před 3 dny

      @@TheStoli5So, I'm a light packer - my wardrobe is capsule with matching colours/combinations. I do not wear each day a complete new outfit; I do not change complete wardrobe several times a day. It's just about different combinations.
      For long international air travel I use small carry-on (vacation 7-14 days, only going on a cruise); for domestic air travel - I live on an island - I use mini (3-5 days only beachware).
      I have max 2 pair of shoes and 1 pair of flip-flops with me. And I do not have much toiletries/make-up things to pack. Living in South-Pacific with high humidity all year round you don't need all the skin stuff. Skin is getting enough humidity just from air. And as always staying in hotel before cruise, I just buy travel size things (I need for cruise) at city of port.
      So, in your case here is a tip: Do a "test-packing" with books = set books on a table accordingly in seize of luggage, fold clothes as shown in video, put them in "book luggage" and then check, in which you can pack more. Hope, it helps.
