Consew brushless servo motor's needle positioner installation

In this video I install a needle positioner on a Juki DDL series machine. This video is the same for the DDL series, DU-1181N and a few more. The setup is similar on the DNU-1541S, except you will not need the extra adapter I screw into the hand wheel.

I retrofitted my Juki 1181n with the 1 hp Consew servo motor. The entire process took under 1 hour. Worked from below the table. If you’re retrofitting use all of the bolts, nuts and hardware included. Consew has a CZcams on programming the controller. I just used the motor to sew up a skirt for my kayak. Needle and speed control is great. Perfect for upholstery and heavy fabrics.
