I would suggest that all e-scooters be designed with charging ports at diameter of cola bottle opening, so that used cola bottle caps could be used for resource recycling at convenience while making charging ports waterproof.

I took my VSETT9+ out for the first time yesterday and I was able to reach 37kmph at 1st speed with one motor. It was so fast, I was eating bugs. I'm afraid to try it on 3rd speed using both motors because I'll be eating birds. lol LOVE my VSETT+9!!!

Have just completed 500km on my Vsett9+. I can't speak highly enough about it and the huge fun factor it provides me.
The 500km I have travelled on it includes a variety of terain - cycle ways, tarmac flat & hilly roads, shingle forestry tracks and grass park tracks, the suspension and stable ride that the Vsett9+ provide gives me a sense of safety, even at 54km/hr. for this 71yr old Kiwi grandparent of New Zealand 👍😎
A little tip to reduce the possibility of punctures, keep the tyre presure at a minimum of 45psi and have a quick check of your tyres after each ride incase any small splinters of glass have been picked up by the tyres. I have at various times unintentionally riden through glass on the pavements and not punctured.
Keep safe out there.......where safety gear!!👍😎

I bought my first scooter. I love it. No it’s not a vsett, it’s a splach ranger. It’s very much like the vsett 8. ESG offered a $100 discount off the already low price which made me do the purchase. My criteria for buying a scooter: decent range and speed for urban riding, less than 50 lbs, fits in my car’s trunk, and looks good with the vsett-like swing arms in pretty blue. Nearly 100 miles later, 47 lbs is still heavy but not ridiculously so for carrying up 2 flights of stairs, unlike a heavier scooter could be. Also, i love the stem light. Urban riding (like my NYC) have streets that are already lit, but offers more visibility so others see you (adding aftermath an Orb handlebar beam light and horn completes the scooter). Now I am considering my next scooter (my girlfriend may take my splach). I came across the vsett among several other brands. I do like the vsetts, and less than $1500 is doable. Considerations now include the eventuality of maintenance. Is there a service place or dealer in the nyc area? New york is becoming a hotbed for scootering, in fact i’m scootering more than riding my motorcycle or driving my exotic car.

Thanks guys! I ordered the Vsett 9+ and I still keep my old lighter Xiaomi m365. I still love to ride a smaller scooter for quick, slow runs like in the central city area. Not only that, but I usually do scooter walk, which is an amazing sport! I just ride place to place and start walking with my scooter. I repeat the idea and walk the best scenery places like parks, sea shore, bridges and so on. I usually do about 5000 to 10000 steps per a scooter ride. It's better than no walking, right? :-) Anyways I hate walking so scooter walk is great! My main sport is mtb riding or cycling, but scooter walk is great for relaxing my mind and muscles! Perfect indeed...

It sure can handle light sand, gravel and dirt, as well as grass! Just be sure not to go over big rocks and to check your tires' air pressure every week for them both to be ideally 50 PSI. This helps preventing flat tires every month. Hope this helps! 😊

LOL SPOTED! 11:37 - when he speaks about handle bar folding - he tries to spin it and you can see the common problem, it spins through in a twisting motion :DD haha man. VSETT needs to release gen2 as soon as possible and address few minor issues that we discussed on telegram group so much by now
    needs to be done asap:
    - Twisting issue of folding mechanism (11+Super now comes with 2 holding screws)
    - Folding mechanism self unscrewing (some extra lock/ drop pin?)
    - higher power DC-DC converter
    - higher power REAR LIGHTS + Turn signals (at least double the lm of current on vest 8/9)
    - Better and higher located headlight (On the rotating part of the suspension - stem bottom is ideal, and mounting is easy and elegant. VSETT9 front light is useless, unlike 10+ and 11+)
    - progressive REGEN breaking, not on-off
    - switch to TOUVT tires on 9/9+, HOTA causes flats due to cord wearing the tube or even poking it
    - switch vsett9 to 9x3 tires they should fit with no modification but no one makes such, get tout and CST on it.
    - alternative color, may be chrome, or Lexus wet asphalt or yellow just like back in 2020 dec...
    - post information on official webpage VSETT.COM that 500w version on 8 and 9 exist (police looks it up and causes problems)
    - display brightness need to be double
more major - may be for gen2
    - vsett9 suspension needs proper shock and not just coil
    - switch to Samsung 35E from MJ1 LG (MASSIVE difference in real life WH)
    - increase deck hight of vest 9 to accommodate 3 layer of cells 8p fits width wise perfectly and 5s should fit per layer = 15s8p from factory should fit into even 9+ if you increase deck depth by like 5-6mm even, totally worth it)
--- vestt 9 could even fit than 17s with bms taking space of one series
    - add lubricant inside the mechanical brakes tubing (simple and make it ALOT nicer, less complains)
    - redesign controllers in the way that FETs are not pointing art the battery and front of the scooter, but instead are looking down towards the cold huge metal deck )
    - get secondary light right under handle bar in the middle - low beam with sharp shadow line and make lower light as flooding light - high beam
    - BT connection and INTEGRATED ALARM gyro based, using NFC to arm and disarm (sell GPS/sim module as extra with integration so that you get remote notification when scooter is armed and was moved)
Contact me if you need more detailed summer of what people socialise about on my group. t.me/vsett_eu_us_ENGLISH_mods_hacks

I like the vsett 9+. Perhaps as my current scooter gets older. I love the handlebar fold, steer limiter, speeds, distance, torq, and appearance. I would prefer less steps to fold the stem, rear cable and kickstand proximity, better fenders, stem lighting (not for headlight beaming but for being seen), and there’s a comfort factor with more grip tape onthe deck

    • @yanassi
      @yanassi Před 2 lety

@@sohaibalmahagri589 good for you. I have the splach ranger, single motor scoot that’s good except going uphill, weighs 48 lbs and going up two flights is a little struggle on my knees after a day of playing sports. I’m no longer a young man, slight arthritis now. I’m looking for a dual motor performance commuter, wish it had 10” tires. Thankfully, having the splach allows me to take my time, time to allow the manufacturers to improve their performance scooters in lessening the weight stats. Dualtron’s spider shows performance and low weight is possible, now if only the other makers learn how it’s done. My eyes are on the spider2, but $2.7k gives me enough pause to see what the other big boys’ 2022 models will be.

If you're talking about the suspension travel, it has 4 or 5 inches of travel. If you're talking about the range on a single charge, on lowest settings, around 50 miles. But the real range might be somewhere around 28 to 30 miles I think. Hope this helps!

nice video sir, by the way i just want to ask something, i got also this vsett 9+ few weeks ago, on 1st gear top speed 26km/h i consume 4.5v of battery on 12.5km ride, then i try 2nd gear @36-38 km/h speed same 12.5 km range, but the battery consume is still 4.5v, does it mean whatever gear i use as long as it has same range the battery consume also will be the same? -newbie here :)

It does change a little bit, but it becomes obvious as soon as you turn on DDM (Dual Motors). The battery will drain faster on all three gears. Hope it helps even 2 years later 😅

We have the VSETT9+ at home and it has been a major disappointment. The amount of times we have gotten flats can be counted on one hand… EVERY MONTH! Tried every kind of tire option. Even changing out the wheels is a horrendous process that was clearly not tested properly. Unless you are skilled with repairs of this type you are out of luck because you will not be able to change it. I wish there was a way to return this thing or swap it out. At this point it is nearly unusable because you can pretty much guarantee you will get stranded somewhere. Or maybe we just got a bad one out of the batch…

    • @JustWillSet
      @JustWillSet Před 8 měsíci

I figured that a lot of people were having the same issues. One thing that can help is to verify the tires' air pressure every week, making sure that they're both at 50 PSI. Hope this helps 😊

Pretty good except why does every single scooter manufacturer insists on having this shitty throttle control and not a ergonomic thumb throttle? The pointing finger throttle is unsafe when driving over uneven terrain as bumps can cause you to accidentally accelerate also it conflicts with the break lever, and as if it wasn't bad enough - your hand gets tired much quicker than with a thumb throttle. I hate this so much. Also what about the safety feature - throttling only when already in movement to avoid yeeting your scooter in to a traffic because you absentmindedly pressed throttle while waiting for a green light?

I guess no one has bothered to put air in the tires on this? The adapter is laughably pathetic as it lets all the air out when unscrewing. Mine already has some rubber parts falling off after one very short ride. Granted, I am a newbie to riding scooters, but had I set mine to push start and it took off on me when walking it to where I wanted to ride. Bumped into a wall as a result (no damage done) and now it won't run due to an error code 08 and a brake sensor warning on the display. AND OF COURSE this is no documentation on how to reset the scooter! So much for watching all the "expert" reviewers on CZcams regarding how great this scooter is.....
