- Hello my beautiful fam! Welcome back to my kitchen today I’m going to share with you how to make the best salsa roja, my favorite for my tacos and all my dishes! This salsa is spicy but when you top it on top of guacamole or your tomatillo salsa, is just soooooo delicious it’s the perfect combo and it brings the spicyness down, I don’t know how to explain it but I just hope you give it a try ! Ingredients:
2 large tomatoes or 4 roma tomatoes
10 chile de árbol
1/4 white onion
2 garlic cloves
1/4 tsp oregano
3 tbsp oil
Salt
Black pepper

My gf stopped me from using 10 chilies and said it would be too hot, lol! I used 5 and closer to 1/3 of and onion. For the oil, I used olive instead. What I got was the most delicious mild relish I’ve ever had. I will be making this one again but probably with 7 peppers. Thank you Claudia!

Thank you so much for this recipe, I made roughly the same thing yesterday but added Bell peppers and substituted out the dried chillies for fresh firebird chillies and ghost chilli sauce, not going to lie it doesn’t matter which way salsa is made it’ll always give a warm fuzzy feeling like you’ve just come home from a long hard day of work.

This makes great spaghetti sauce, also, with the addition of some California chili pods blended in. Put a large avocado on top with sea salt and pepper. It's great! And nothing jarred or canned.Thanks for the delicious recipes, Claudia.
