  • These bowel and colon exercises are aimed to stimulate, control, and encourage healthy bowel movements and cleanse the colon . Healthy habits are the foundation for bowel and colon health. Don’t ever forget regular movement, lots of water, fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains impact your gut and bowel health.
    This practice begins with yoga asana that include twists. Twists are excellent for bowel and colon health because they aid peristalsis (the muscular process of moving the food from the top to the bottom of our entire gastrointestinal tract), massage the intestines, stimulate blood flow, and encourage stool to move through the system.
    In addition, we will do a few positions that are good for encouraging the release of gas in the large intestine.

    I've been constipated for years and I just felt a throbbing pain in my left lower quadrant so I came to You Tube to search for any exercise that would help relieve constipation and or cleanse the colon and I came across your video. I only do the legs against the wall every morning but I guess that ain't enough. I hope these exercises would help.
