My man I cannot tell you how great and helpful your reviews are, I've been looking trough your videos deciding to what headset I want to upgrade (having some particular requirements like wireless + wired functionality and detachable mic) and every time you clear ALL my doubts, best reviews, everything tested and explained!
I picked mine up 4 weeks ago for my travel bag. Very good for gaming (and even for supporting my work while remote and needing to take teams calls and VOIP calls). The fact that it can do Bluetooth and USB sold me. Very impressed for $100!
How good does the Bluetooth work, can you for example speak and listen when playing a shooter and not lose the sound quality?

You should do a review on the new wireless Astro A30’s !! The price is very reasonable , only thing in question is the sound quality + mic

I just got a little anxiety because I have the razor kitty headphones in pink and after sometime they started to randomly disconnect by every movement I did which made me sad I really loved the headphones and I'm scared those do the same so after they came out do they do that or did razor fix that issue?

@@Sam-de8tc When I bought it, I had some RMA issues due to Razer not supporting RMA in India & Amazon's replacement window was closed. It was only for the faulty extender cable which was fine as I connect the dongle directly on PC. Headphones is pretty good for both gaming & music/movies. Valorant & CSGO/CS2 worked flawlessly. I am able to hear better direction of footsteps than my HyperX Cloud Alpha wired.
Later on, the dongle stopped loading up on boot 3/5 times. On reconnecting physically works fine. Guess I've to live with this until I get another headphones. But I definitely got a faulty piece and neither Razer or Amazon helped.
If your country is not in Razer's RMA list & If you find anything faulty, make sure that you do a replacement before the Amazon's window closes.

Glad I found this video, almost got the corsair hs80(wired) but this are just superior.

happy i watched this. the product page for the 2021 pink headset says it has bluetooth, but seeing here and reading around everything confirms 2021 version doesn't have bluetooth.

Just subbed as watched many of your videos, they are all detailed and explained well Thank you!!.. but I REEALLY still don't know what headset to buy, was looking at the nova pro but it's pricey... and many headsets are half that price... do you have any suggestions as to what you could compare the headsets to due to budget? - I can afford the $249 for the wired, but I don't know if I can justify the price it. i would also need a gamedec/USB plug in as my soundcard is broke haha

Looking at these for my wife, just wanted know can you connect them wirelessly to a docked switch and use voice chat (as the switch has been abit lame with this feature) for Fortnite without having using the 3.5mm jack?

The better (atleast in my opinion) dongle shape and bluetooth honestly make this one of the best product revision of all time, and for the same price as the older models it's must buy for budget consumers. Sorry Steelseries Arctis 1, but in the opinion of this consumer. You've been dethroned

What would you recommend, hs80 rgb wireless or barracuda x 2022? Downside of the hs80 is that it has no BT feature.
The microphone sounds so good when connected with 3.5 mm jack, then comes second is 2.4 gHz quality, the last is Bluetooth one.
With 3.5 mm, microphone quality sounds like podcast condenser mic.
I have the old version and i love them but having bluetooth on the new ones sure seems nice
So can I use the dongle with my series x? Or I have to use the 3.5mm jack?

Mic test was very interesting. I actually still use a wired headset currently and was thinking of getting the Barracuda soon. Might still be worth using wired.

Does it work on Windows 11 though? I'm on Corsair now, and am unable to roll back to Windows 10 (I wouldn't want to anyway) and Corsair doesn't work on Windows 11. There's full on Reddit posts about it, it doesn't detect my mouse or my headset and constantly crashes iCue, constantly crashes the headset. Please start adding reviews on which OS you're working with and adding if it works with Windows 11 or not or if they have the patches to make it work on Windows 11.

80$ shewwwwww, I would prefer the Nova's, but to say they are worth 80$ more is hard
just got mine and tried charging it for 12 hours already. It clearly said on the manual that if it's fully charged, it should be a solid green light but it never happened to me. Is this a common issue of this headset? I also tried downloading the app in play store and it says that it's already at 100%. help please😢

I got different ear cushions that are more comfortable and these things are hella good had one pair for over a year now got the new version wit better ear cushions and are great but the old still work too
Just got the 2021 version for 56 dollars and I’m really debating getting the 2022 the dongle covers the usb port on my ps5 and that really sucks honestly my be worth the other 50 for that the blue tooth and battery length hmm…
I can't get the mic to work on my laptop or console. Wired or with the dongle the mic doesn't work for some reason.
so do you not need the weird dongle thing to connect to your phone via bluetooth?
If headset auto shuts off first, before your PC sleeps or is turned off, the headset won't be detected the next time your PC wakes up or is turned on. You have to unplug and replug the receiver manually. It also has random microstutters. The earpads also get dirty easily.
If you can live with that, then the Barracuda X 2022 is a really good deal.

I have this headset and the 7x+ which I exchanged twice cause of annoying creek sound from the terrible design. This barracuda x has zero creek or squeak and are lighter. I only use the 7x+ when my razer are charging
