- We bought a cbr600f4i wrecked and we rebuilt it from start to finish. It is something new to us and we enjoyed it so much. We will have lot more bike builds in the near future for sure.We ran into some trouble but nothing we couldn't handle. The tank diy paint came out amazing and we made this bike look like new.

I got a deal on a 06 that entered a tree. Seeing how you guys explained tilt sensor probably helped me figure out why it won't idle. So thanks for that. If I do get it I will upload a video to show progress. Thanks!

I usually prefer OEM, but the Chinese seat still looks okay. Nice that you guys work on cars, that's a super help when working on bikes. I never really worked on cars, but like fixing bikes and have been for a year or so. You guys did great! Oh yeah, they have gaskets for the stator, you don't have to use the gasket maker, but it works just as well.

You can also bypass the tip over sensor by jumping the 2 wires in the harness. There is a vid on here to show you how, alot of the stunters remove it.

Bro,you got a better deal then mine F4I.I bought it for 850.oo but it needs front fairing windshield and mirror. It was hit by a deer.

oh, love the bumblebee butt that is the CBR600F4i. Have you guys seen the 1000RR tail conversion? I have considered it, but then decided to just keep the F4i tail.

these bikes are really reliable but are notorious for 2nd gear popout and the head has to come off to split the crankcase.
Luckily we never had an issue with it 😌
The F4i transmission is excellent they're known for being STRONG and NOT breaking lol.. not loosing 2nd it's not a yamaha. & another thing when an F4i DOES have trans issues you just have to pull the clutch to get the the shift forks and drum. Splitting cases on an F4i because of the transmission is basically unheard of😂
@@gooklogander7 I'm really glad to hear that. I kept seeing on the forums when I did a search years ago saying it was better to just throw in a low mileage engine, which is what I did back in 2017. I really like this bike, it's really comfortable and I take it everywhere.
@@uptownsamcv fhats exactly how I feel. With the corbin seat especially I can ride it for hours and be comfortable at 6'3. & the seat doesn't ruin the look of the bike. But yea dont be worried about your trans they're very solid. F4i does good iridium spark plugs always maintain, the Cam chain tensioner lifter of course will go but you just replace it with the new blue dot and you're good. Same with the fuel pressure regulator which is really the only other small item that goes. You just replace it with the green dot updated one and that's as solid of a 600cc bike you'll find anywhere 🤞
@@gooklogander7 my second gear has been popping out for about 2 months now. it really sucks having to skip gears.
the only fueling issue I had was a map sensor vacuum port clog so I drilled them all out. I also had a no start issue that adding a ground to the fuel pump assembly fixed. It was weird because the pump wouldn't prime until I squeezed the clutch lever. mine has a bit over 90,000 miles and it's definitely a keeper. 954RR might be what I get next. my brother had one and it weighs about the same as the F4i with plenty of power. I actually put a 954RR rear wheel on my F4i with 200/50 tire..
What tail light blinker and license plate holder you used?

We ended up selling it for $2500 but we bought it for 600 so it was a good profit
