      @@mlegrand Yeah, I love my lav mic when it works (like in the intro), but in this case the cable to my phone apparently got just lose enough to stop recording when I stuck it in my pocket. The Neo 1 is great except for cadence being all over the place.
    The Neo 2 works great except there is some issues that they are hopefully working on. Tacx know about the cadence issues and it calls for a longer pedal stem. Attaching something to your pedal so the sensor can reed it helps. The Bluetooth problems, for now, just switch off the unit after use.
    On the Neo 1 we don’t see any of the Neo 2 problems. Did they just cheap out?? Mmmm

    Hi Ray. Two questions:
    1. Do you consider the neodymium magnet design of Neo/Neo2 as technologically more advanced than the belt design of virtually every other direct drive trainer? Side Q. Less moving parts means longer lasting, less to go wrong?
    2. Is any other company coming up with similar technological innovation. We know about STAC Zero, but is anyone working on something similar to Neo/Neo2?

    • @Dcrainmaker
      @Dcrainmaker  Před 5 lety +1

      1) Definitely more advanced. Especially when it comes to accuracy, but also features they can implement (like road-feel).

      Enjoy!

    • @aforanti
      @aforanti Před 5 lety +1

      The trainer is silent. But remember that vibration could be an issue, so I use thick rubber gymnasium floor tiles from my hardware depot. Most noise will come from your chain and cassette. So have good condition can and cassette and make sure it's clean and correctly lubed for the job. Make sure it's adjusted right too. If you want to go further, you could use a small wall of acoustic sound absorbing material near the drive train so it does not echo and amplify any noise.
