Last year, we all thought AMS got lucky. This year, they proved they're not to be messed with. ETS may have the fastest GTR right now, but AMS proved why they deserve the title "King of the streets" Huge congrats to everyone at AMS Performance!

also not to mention ams raced a bone stock c6 z06, that was a given, and the tt r8 went neutral, that was a given too.

rewatch the vid lambo accelerated and let off instantly and the Gtr plowed on the accelerator the instant he saw the lambo move so the gtr got the jump no false starting anywhere and the lambo was reeling him in aswell but Gtr did win and until we see this race again the Gtr stays the champ

After everything is said and done, "He drives it back to the Hotel". The question of the day is............."Did he valet it?" LOL. I love to see this Alpha Omega win the real close battles, and the driver still says humble about it. Hell I would love to see a video of him picking up his son/daughter/niece/nephew from school, and watch the kids go ballistic as he rolls away.
1,950 WHP that's it. That's crazy and couldn't imagine what it would cost to build a GT-R like that.

LAUNCH CONTROL 東瀛戰神 I don't get it, here you praise the GTR, but on other comments i've seen you trash it... Anyway, the Lambo Hurricane was a nasty surprise. AWD with an Audi engine seems to be a good competitor for the GTR, they just need some finetuning.

I can't trash the GTR. I want to and I tried to but can't. Unlike other haters I won't say "it's shitty" for no reason. But I agree that the Lambo TT LP610 is a great rival for alpha 20.

Love the Alpha but I've gotta say the UGR Huracan looks mean and was right there at the end. I also like that it has "street" wheels on it, unlike the Alpha. Both awesome cars though!

Ivan is the man gotta love the GTR what a beast! Didnt the huracan win though? Really close race gotta give that new lambo some credit serious potential on that car.
GT-R aerodynamics is hard to beat and not to mention its differential and transmission. Drivetrain of the GT-R is so well designed for performance that Nissan felt compelled to patent it. A little sacrifice in durability at first, but drivetrains in newer GT-Rs have been vastly improved is almost bullet proof.
Tough luck for the Audi R8. I actually think it would have edged out the Alpha Omega.
i'm a lambo fan boi, and i have to say that, that hurican lost because there was a nail on the tires, i was on the phone, and all of a sudden a ufo flew over causing me to look, and that is my excuse why the hurican lost, as always. we will win next year though, i am 101% sure.

What's the benefit of having that sort of spoiler on the ams? Is it to clean up the air for the parachute?
Funny how the GTR isn't even meant for roll racing yet it beats cars designed for top speed. Those supercars are just lucky that they don't fuck with the GTR on the drag strip, cause it'll be nothing but a slaughtering.
i agree the Gtr's have crazy fast launch but the Huracan lambo's can also get out of the whole fast i mean this gtr ran 7.48sec@192mph and a slower version of these UGR huracan's did 7.807sec@187mph with wheelspin and no drag tires etc. so the X2 pack Huracan's probably can match 7.0-7.50sec runs and maybe even quicker in the wayyy future

nallen100 But what are they? 8.0L V8's? This is just a little 3.8L V6, and it weighs almost as much as a stock GTR, and this thing is road legal and it DRIVES home.
nallen100 Because the fact that its such a small engine producing so much HP and BEATING 4 2000HP Lambos and performing so well while being street legal is bad ass. They dont have to stress the V8 out as much as they do the V6 to get that kind of power.

Patrick Carta I agree it would be nice to see people actually compete around a course but at the same time, it's easy to sit on the computer and say that when its not your money. Having to pay to enter, burning up tires, quickly wearing out brakes that have to stop a 4,000lb car, inevitable accidents/offroads that can rip off fenders etc, basic wear and tear on other areas of the car. That's a lot of money to spend on one weekend, so it's definitely understandable why some wouldn't want to go that route.
Decside Plus, many of these guys are using these cars as R&D for their company. Turbo kits, intakes, ECUs and the sort.
Decside Many GT-R owners, shops and teams participate in road racing events.

Steve Stankiewicz I think they are only limited by the turbos now, since they are still running in the OEM position...thats why ETS did the whole Top Mount turbo kit cause they were running turbos to big for the OEM fitment.

I think they went with the 4.0L none stroke instead of the 4.4 stroker because the stroker limits you on high RPM.
I wonder what the guy in the Stock 'vette was thinking when he found out he was put up next to the Omega. In the end I guess it really doesent matter, probably just there for the fun anyways!

I feel the R8 would have been a challenge.But still AMS GTR build is just a super tech marvel.I would give AMS all my cars to build.A classic 300zx AMS build would worth it say 1800hp+.

SANIC Because it was transported all the way from Chicago to Dallas. Watch the end of the video and you can clearly see it driving to the hotel after winning the event (about 20 miles). Drove it back to the airfield again the next day and loaded it on the transport back to Chicago.
