I've watched the other vids from the LP and I like how you decided to put this all together in one vid.

Wow, honestly I love it when someone shares their Minecraft worlds. It always looks very soulful.
The ever winding and expanding nature of your walls is very neat. You put it well in your video, you view Minecraft as a world conquest game, and those walls really contribute to that feeling. Civilization is always one more wall expansion away! Have you ever measured how long your walls actually stretch, were you to walk from the central area through to the furthest point?

I love the feeling you get from beta worlds. Its different from nostalgia, its more like the world is all yours for exploring and creating. The beautiful views off the walls are an example of this. great work TLB

That last build you showed with the lava on the cave floor seems to be the beginning of a huge dwarven stronghold. I’m thinking, extending the ceiling 20 or so blocks and then digging out big halls and passages. That way you are creating something cool through digging whilst obtaining cobble for the WALL

Hey sorry I’m late replying to this video but I just fixed up my old pc and I found a few folders containing hundreds of different recordings from my Minecraft world… let’s just say I was overwhelmed with what I saw. I think I’m going to start an archive channel to post all of my footage.
Btw great world, this video made me take the time to look through my old pc and I found this gold mine.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I recently started a world in Beta 1.7.3 and it has captivated me like no other survival world. I truly feel motivated to build and do what I please. What do you use to play this version? I have been using BetaCraft which has been working great but I was wondering if there was a way to get optifine working on it. Keep up the good work!

Wait till this gets included in those "Nostalgic Minecraft images" compilations. Jokes aside, this shit is awesome. I started playing this game when the Redstone Update came out. (1.5) Never played ANY of the pre-released versions. But seeing these Beta 1.7.3 videos (which YT has been recommending me a lot lately, for some reason) makes me wanna boot up my own Beta world and start making awesome stuff. Good shit, my dude! :)

this is, the most impressive survival minecraft world in any version I‘ve ever seen. There are bigger ones but in beta everything is manual, this scale, detail, it‘s so inspiring. I would love to know how many hours you put in this world, amazing brother. 👑
I stopped keeping track once i hit 60 days (1440 hours) I’d have to estimate at least 2000 hours in the world currently.

I actually have tried to make more square "manor-like" looking castles to maximize space, but I keep on making circular towers and keeps, I guess I'll add that to the new castle I'm building near my spawn town

I had started a world in 1.7.3, everything was going fine until the power went out.. My world wouldn't open anymore, your level.dat didn't have any data anymore, do you have any idea what I can do to avoid such problems?
Have your pc connected to a power battery back up. Can get a good one for 60-100 bucks and if the power goes out it has enough battery to keep your computer running for a few minutes so you can safely shut it down and it won’t just power off.
My world curruptipn stemmed from the same exact thing, a random power outage. Thankfully my world is still fine and good with just some strange chunk errors and random blocks that were replaced. Nothing you can do now except better prepare yourself for the future so it doesn’t happen again.

When I broke the last blocks, do you believe the energy went out? My motivation was for space. I'll follow your idea, building on 1.7.3 is a lot of fun!!
I never build on creative unless I have to test an idea for survival. It's not fulfilling.

I really like the world but your tone of voice during the whole video comes across to me like you have a sort of ego about how hard you had to work. Most people know it takes a long time to do this stuff. Stay humble and I bet people will appreciate your creations even more.
And maybe it was just me that got that vibe, I still think what you’re doing is pretty cool
Nothing wrong with that I am proud with how hard I had to work and it’s important people understand that, because that’s the difference between mediocrity and greatness, hard tough work. And this transcends Minecraft, this applies to anything and everything in life.
If you want to create great things or do great things you need to work HARD, and be DEDICATED. Most people don’t, most people wait for opportunities instead of making them. I preach hard work and many people always say they can’t build large scale things because they don’t have the patience time or dedication and are lazy oddly enough those are the same reasons some claim they are not successful in life. So yes I boast about how long and hard I worked, because that is what is required to get these results. I also speak in other videos about that’s why I hated creative mode. It makes it too easy and you don’t have to work as hard this making the impressiveness of the build less.
Only people that brag about working hard, more than I do are people in the construction field. They will go all day about how many days straight they’ve been working lol. I appreciate your kind words tho my man
