      "Canonically" he sacrifices his sanity and worries those around him. In reality, he isn't working alone. I mean, in one of the Unraveled episodes, Pat outright mentioned from behind the camera that he had written one of the jokes.
      You wouldn't look at a game of thrones character and say "It's fake, no point looking deeper into this"

My first games were made for people a few years older than me. Later, me and my sister got a PS2, so we skipped the whole Bandicoot craze. Instead, we grew nostalgic for Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank games.

      Very different situation here, as someone from Israel. Our security regimes and protocols were always very tight, thorough and extensive. Also heard that IL airline flights have secret service security on them.
      But what's certain is that they do quite a lot, head to toe search and in depth search. Also asking you how/who packed your stuff, and more.
      If I'm not mistaken US and other countries in the world took some notes and training from our country about security stuff after 9/11.

    Mad props to BDG, he puts so much effort into his videos. I digitize VHSs for work, so if he actually recorded the pocket dimension sections with a VHS camera, then in order to be able to edit the video he'd have to digitize them in real time to get them off the tapes. So if he recorded 10+ hours of videos on VHS, then he'd have to wait 10+ hours to digitize the analog media.
    So man willingly accepted this loss of time for the sake of authenticity, more that's dedication to the bit.b

    As a kid born in 1990, this video gave me some real feels about living in the 90s, having it easy, not learning anything in school, and then growing up and being thrown into a terrifying future unprepared. Oops that escalated quickly

    So, basically, Brians friends were really worried about him standing in 90's-land and hiding from reality, so one of them (Pat, wasn't it?) found a costume of Crash just to fit in in David's world and break it from the inside. So, basically, it's about friendship again

    I think that the word that best describes these Unraveled videos is "clever", because they always take a somewhat stupid idea and elevate it to reveal a deeper understanding of a concept that always comes full circle.

      Mostly. Sometimes the deeper understanding is that Sonic the Hedgehog either is God, or can kill God, though I can’t really care if there’s a difference

      I like the Kirby one a lot. It digs for deeper meaning and just when you think that BDG has uncovered some deep, existential truth... NOPE. Same with the one about the 5.3 billion characters in... *insert JRPG title with lots of characters whose name I totally forgot*

      @@DAHIESTABUNNE I always interpreted Unraveled S1 as "obsesive fan goes insane", almost every video there is like that, but in S2 there's much more variety and each video explore a different idea

      @@DAHIESTABUNNE sonic's video's theme was about how letting your passion for fandom go too far can be detrimental to yourself, the people around you, and the media you were so passionate about in the first place. it was a clever diss on rabid sonic fans who argue to the ends of the earth over how the stories are handled.

      It's like they suddenly realized they were doing a promo with a child in a grown man's body, so they just gave the response they would give to a child sending them the same question.
