1990 Frank Thomas no-name is dirt cheap for an 8.5 at $4600, I found a 7 for $2k but high grade is usually $50k+.

I have 20 David Robinson it's his rarest car I have 10 complete Rookie Sensation sets. I have a Jumbo pack with DR rs on the back and another with MJ on front and his RS on the back. 1 PSA 10 and BGC 10

1990: The year I graduated high-school and the year I started collecting again!
My younger brother's friends were over one day and asked if I had any cards. I pulled out a box from 70s- early 80s and said "this is all I have" they started with a holy crap! "Do you even know what you have?? Lol Rickey Henderson Rookie, some early Nolan Ryan's, Bird and Magic Rookies etc..etc..
Those two kids sparked my interest and I started buying cards again. Unfortunately it was as we all know, the "junk wax" era but I had still had fun busting those wax packs!
Kinda got out of it again early 2000s due to three kids and a wife but still have my pretty large collection. I never really trusted the grading system but looks like it may be the time to start to send them in.
Have a few of these, didn’t realize they were that valuable. Need to check card conditions and submit

Any idea how much complete sets of every manufacturer of 1990 baseball, hockey, football, basketball, Looney Tunes, Marvel & Desert Storm cards are going for? I also have a complete set of uncut O-Pee-Chee hockey cards for that year as well. I've been holding these and thinking about selling...

Sure would be nice to own the Thomas NNOF, but since I'll likely never realistically own it nor the Tiffany cards in high grades, I enjoy buying his OPC cards and other rookies, since pop counts are much lower than regular cards.

New subscriber here, this is a great video! However heartbreaking just two years ago my entire collection of sports cards was stolen from my garage, I am 44 years old and have been collecting ever since 1985, the wife is getting mad because I am trying to fill the void And re up a collection. LOL..... she will never understand my pain.
I remember buying sets and never seen a topps Tiffany set anywhere at stores. I never even heard of them until you're channel. Did you have to special order Tiffany sets ?,??
Dealers had to order them from Topps. I believe they were intended to be handed out to promote the base Topps sets, however, some dealers did sell complete sets. They’re not called Tiffany by Topps that’s a name dealers and collectors came up with from the jewelry Tiffany being so expensive and pretty 🤩

Shocking and sad that Admiral and Tim Duncan rookie cards are underpriced/underappreciated. Goes to show what people think of keeping your mouth shut and playing basketball at the highest level. Jagr also spent 3 years in the KHL before returning to NHL, crazy. I've been buying more Tiffany's recently and got my 1st Mickey Mantle! 1964 psa 6. Definitely patience pays off.

Do you know if PSA will ever get it together and drop their prices? An average card collector will go broke sending cards to them. Are they going to expand and higher more of a work force? I know their busy but sheesh!!
I have no idea. I've lost all hope with PSA and BGS. Just buy the cards already graded and hold the ones you want to submit. What they're charging right now should be illegal.
