- Well, when I thought I couldn’t get even more obsessed with them and their music they release this S tier song and MV? Seriously, when Jackson said they were the future, he was not lying, facts only! They are the movement, the moment, the future, they are everything and they’re doing everything right! That’s the thing! I think they have one of the best organic growth I’ve seen in a while and I can’t help but applaud them for their achievement because it is so deserved! The amount of talent in this group is through the roof!
This song was such a perfect recipe to make people fall for them! A great mix of swag and smooth rnb parts, quality MV, fun effects and references to the Japan and its culture, killer and trendy choreography, amazing styling and aesthetic! This is perfect and a S tier comeback in my book! I love it even more because I did not except the chorus to be so smooth! I actually expected the complete opposite since the title is called “shooting star” I thought they’d go for something explosive for the chorus and as extravagant as the teaser picture but they surprised me and oh boy do I love this feeling of being surprised! I need more of this! Plus the whole late 90’s early 2000 rob vibes are immaculate! This is a modern throwback done to the finest and it’s so pleasing to have it being done that perfectly! I’m in love!

this is such a satisfying mv, song, concept ; the vocals the rap are all so balanced the song structure is amazing the beat is neither too noisy nor too bland i have not felt this satisfied from a comeback since a long time ago

XG is just FIRE. The song is so good its an addiction. It was trending #1 worldwide music video the first 36 hours after it released. Everything they have released the last 10 months since their debut has been fire. The really deserve to huge already its crazy to me that it hasn't happened yet. honestly, thats whats going to allow these girls to have the best shot at crossing markets. Their english is impeccable. It really does help in the long run that they can pronounce well and also ride the songs they sing with sass and wit, flow and cadence. makes it much easier to digest to Western ears. I love these girls so much, what a great start to 2023

Was never a huge fan of heavy auto tune, but I think this song has a good balance with it.
The choreography, from what we can see so far, and the MV are so amazing! And the chorus is super catchy; Already have it stuck in my head, but that's probably also because I've replayed this a dozen times over already 😄 I'm so happy!
i really think the autotune here is a "choise" for the vibe and not for correct the girls voice, thats so good, because im sure without it the girls sound soo good anyways.
It's just auto tuned for some lines for the vibe i think, their live stage vocals not really different and still in a high level of good.

This is stupid good. And at all something I would ever get from XG - they pulled a full 180 and pulled out Rainbows, Unicorns, and Hello Kitty? Yes please. When I thought they couldn't get any more versatile... We knew they had swag and power and presence. They just showed us they can be cuties, too - without losing any of that power and presence.
For some reason I feel that XG will mark a big step for Jpop in the future.

I have loved everyone’s so happily shocked face when the chorus starts in reactions.
This is my new favorite! The melody AND the Lyrics are phenomenal. People in the last 5 years have been lacking in clever lyrics but this song is alphaz-tier. In most groups there are the intense showy ones and the less intense but equally talented ones. But this group are all intense alpha girls. I hope they get proper promotion internationally because they are as unique, talented and iconic as Ariana Grande, Adele, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey. So I’d love to see them achieve that same level of recognition!
