Listen to the birds singing and the glorious shades of green of the trees.
Truly a great time to be alive.
Even when surrounded by chemtrails and EMFs 😊
Even when surrounded by chemtrails and EMFs 😊 2nd time lucky.
A killer and a healer, all in one!
Thanks Dane.
Had so many in my garden one year , hard to hang up washing around them..was expecting them to migrate to tapping on my window like the Day of the Triffids 😂😮😅
Fox gloves have gone crazy this year!!..😳🤯😃👍
Yes but I have No bees on them. Cornwall. No butterflies here at all yet either.

I’ve just took advantage of your book sale. I am truly grateful for your knowledge and time to share with others your work. 🥰👍🏴
Thank you! ✌️😄
The Bees like them , they look great in the garden too . Thanks for explaining this beautiful plant .
I thoroughly enjoyed this. My mother-inlaw has what one would have called dropsy in the old days. She takes a medicine for her failing heart containing digitalis. She turns 86 this year and she still lives alone and loves life because of this amazing flower. Thankyou for telling us such an inspiring story. I believe that Mrs Hutton of Shropshire should be memorialised with a statue and plaque for her great contribution to man and womankind. Perhaps even a postumous Nobel Prize. Her observation of nature would have saved millions of lives worldwide.
I think someone should start a petition for a statue!
I have a feeling big pharma will soon put a stop on that
When the term "Man" is used in "Mankind" it does not mean "Men".
It is a collective asexual term that encompasses all human beings.
When you use the incorrect term "Womankind" you encourage division, group think etc.
Another example is the term "Human beings". This does not describe men alone even though it has "man" in it.
I have an abundance of beautiful purple foxgloves that grow all around my bamboo. A gardening Facebook page almost scared me into cutting them out! I’m so happy to watch this video.
Yay for Mrs Hutton!
I so enjoy your enthusiastic presentations and obvious love of plants and folklore and appreciate your affirmation of Mrs. Hutton and her contributions
You tell the story and give all the information with such enthusiasm it's a pleasure to watch
I was born during the 2nd W.War, so my parents would have pulled a bunch of wild foxgloves and put them in a vase, i was about 4 years at the time, and i used to pull the flowers of the plant, and suck the juice out of them, i might have gone through a whole stem, before being caught on. The sweet fluid was inside the finger glove of the flower. I loved the taste, in those days everything was rashioned, sweets etc. The foxgloves never did me any harm, i am now 80, and still here. ❤ WIinifred Thompson. G.B. NORTHERN IRELAND. aGain Google, where is my symbol the Union Jack.
Wow thanks for sharing very interesting. Although these plants are poisonous we can often be over the top with safety.
Good on you girl .also from best country in the world ULSTER
What a fantastic video Dane. Well done as per usual 🙏
Most of mine are white. They mix with the pink ones to make pale pink. They are wild. Just started to appear. Now I harvest the seeds and throw them around. I love them
The foxgloves underneath my pear tree grew to over 6 ft this year, I put it down to the amount of rain we had over the last winter and spring. On the other hand I lost rosemary, mint and thyme, I guess they needed drier conditions.
I have loads in my garden this year, I just love them.
Excellent presentation.
Fae folk wear them as hats and Foxes wear them on their feet to silently get around 😉 great video. Thank you
Yes! 😎
These are so beautiful, we are blessed with them in the PNW, such that the tallest one I happened to find and measure was 13 feet, in the Olympic woodlands 😮
Cool! And appropriately in season!
I just love your entire channel. It's so cheery and interesting. It really brightens up any gloomy day with a bit of beauty, wonder, and knowledge. 🤗 Thanks for doing this!
I live in the West Country and this year has been a really good year for wild foxgloves, they are everywhere! They are my favourite x
We love fox gloves :)
I love this stuff. Takes me back to when i was a boy
So very beautiful and always reminds me of Beatrix Potter. ❤
As a child living on a farm I used to pick foxglove flowers blow through the little tube while holding the end closed, then 'pop' them. Now 68 and still alive!
The things we get up to as kids 🤣 thanks for sharing!
I'm shocked Mrs. Hutton never received credit .... shocked I say... 🙄😑
Crazy how they flower all the same way, I mean all the different plants, it's the same in an area where I live, all facing the same way.
Your lessons are mesmerising as well as giving us layers of knowledge
Fantastic!
I love your energy and enthusiasm. The world would be a better place if there were more people like you in it.
This is your best video yet!!!! I absolutely love the folklore and history deep dive into this plant. Wonderful job!

I love the guitar music I could listen to it on repeat for time!
Had a magical enveloping experience meditating with this flower tincture at a Plant deva spirit talk held by Emma Fitchet..(used to be Farrell) last year.. especially good for grief
Foxglove heals physically and spiritually..good for a broken heart indeed💚
I've truly enjoyed listening to you, I've always enjoyed growing foxgloves but didn't realise the history of it. Thank you.
Fascinating! I am particularly fond of Foxgloves, and take great care to keep them safe while strimming the sides of our drive during late Spring, before they are fully in bloom. Up to this point,I had no idea of their extraordinay medicinal qualities. Thank you for this most interesting and informative video. My kindest regards.
Cheers Dane. You were right. It was awesome.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom on such an important topic as free food and ancient knowledge in medical practice. Truly inspiring and informative and again 🙏👍🏴
This guys a natural on camera..👍👍
❤❤mother Hutton..long may her name be spoken .n her knowledge of the deadly beauty of the foxglove plant. Imagine all her other tinctures .i wonder what became of her. She has recipes that she got from someone else. Be them written or memorized.. so she was taught this .. she is intriguing!! I especially ❤ the fairy hands and footprints how special .I will see them forever more..watching frm New Zealand...
They do really fuck you up if you get in your blood stream. Guy I worked with on building sight was delivering windows. Then for two weeks he was no show. When we saw him again he was fucked up. He was mowing lawn and grazed his knuckle on garden wall and brushed past the foxglove. He described what happened and he said he was really ill heart kept going crazy, mad pains in his chest sweating like mad vomiting. All of it. Like a soldier he grinned and bared it. Flushed himself all sorts. Eventually he was alright. Be good to some how extract this poison and blow dart it on all ceos of the clot shot.
😄
Great idea mate
Sounds like withdrawls lol
😂
You can also get a lovely yellow dye from the flowers.
I I have foxglove growing in my yard. I have pink and purple ones and some white ones. Thanks for sharing the healing aspects of it. Northern Wisconsin.
I enjoy looking at the white ones 😄
Hi, I just discovered your channel today, watched several videos already. Well presented, entertaining and very informative. Thank you. You have a new subscriber 🙂
Thank you 🙏
It is a shame though that WW did not make known what the other herbs in her recipe were. No doubt they counteracted the harmful effects of the Foxglove and worked synergistically.
Yes, unfortunately! Such a shame it would be so interesting to know the full recipe. 🙂☕
Thank you!!!! ❤
Brilliant, Thank you.
Excellent research, thank you
Oh cool, I've got lots of them growing around my place! I'll be sure to cut some flowers and keep them around just in case.

Very informative video - thanks !
Wow what a great knowledge you have. Thank you for sharing with us.
All the best.
Wonderful wonderful about the folclore around de plants. Thank you for sharing
Excellent video! Thank you for this info, so interesting and very informative.!
I just hope people won't handle this flower and make teas, tinctures, etc. I'm extremely allergic to even touching it. Though I have many in my Cottage Garden for the beauty. I learned how to handle them with disposable gloves and washing my clothes afterwards. These plants have to be used by those with great knowledge. It goes for any other plants as well. Dosage, mixtures, processing. People need knowledge not to get into trouble. Nature offers many wonders, but without knowledge they can also kill. I'm all for herbs and nutrition. God gaves us all we need. Although sometimes things are not as simple as they seem.
Great knowledge Dane! 😊
Cheers!
Great knowledge man , thanks for sharing . I love to see the Foxgloves in flower. .

🙂
I have a wonderful little wild camping spot that right now is abundant with these beautiful foxgloves. I just sit with a coffee and watch them sway in the breeze as the bees go about their business. It really annoys me that the greedy pharma hijack the real people and their discoveries for their own.
Thank you. ❤M
So interesting. Thank you, I've just subscribed.
Thank you!

Oleanander is also a healing plant IF ...IF ... made correctly!
Since you didn't mention how .. I asked ChatGPT
prompt:
"SCENARIO: modern medicine has not discovered digoxin.
How is digitalis purpurea prepared for the condition of Dropsy?"
We live in fun times with an uncertain economic future!
Buying the book also!
I saw a lovely hybrid in a customers garden last week. Pink on the bottom half and yellow on the top half! Going to try to remember to collect the seeds 👍🏼
