Sow a little tenderness
No matter if you cry

Oh my god, only now discovering Portishead, wtf have I been doing for 20 odd years 😳
Bought "Dummy" back in '94, listened to it over and over!
Also check out Massive Attack, Tricky, UNKLE, Lamb and Sneaker Pimps.
Lucky you ... Lucky me! I'm from Portishead 💥 North Somerset where Beth went to school 🏫.. seen them live in Bristol. They were immense 😎🎤🎶

@@ianread9019 I was repremanded big time by my other half... Beth was born in Exeter and came to Bristol to join the music scene... One of the other members of the band went to Gordano school in Portishead... Not sure which though... 🤔.. the bass player Jim Barr is in another Bristol band with Clive Deaner the drummer that joined them ( a lovely bald man, like me) I've been scrolling down and viewing other vids..... That's my afternoon gone 😍😂..
❤ this song is so touching...
Her voice speek in my heart...
So perfect
The album rewrote the soundscape at the time.
And one of the finest live bands you will ever experience.
I’m 59 years old… why in the hell did I just hear this song for the first time? Unbelievable at every level and in every capacity.
As a Chinese girl who got to see their live at 18 years old, I almost fainted at the first line by the unimaginable energy field it brought to me. The safe guard lit up his torch to check if I was alright. I was just too overwhelmed by everything I was experiencing in their music.
They roofied you my dear
how sweet you must be...
Lucky you!
LEGEND HAS IT THAT HARD DRUGS WERE INSPIRED BY THESE MUSIC
This sounds like the best Bond song... Ever.
Beth Gibbons is one of the coolest and one of the most beautiful singers of all time.
Whenever I need a stress reliever, I always turn to Portishead
