On Friday I said goodbye to my muffler delete and hello to a brand new cat back exhaust system from AWE tuning. This is their brand new focus st track edition exhaust and it sounds absolutely amazing!
AWE has two exhaust systems for the focus st. The first being this Track version and the other being the Touring version that you can either get resonated or non-resonated. The resonated version uses AWE's exclusive 180 technology to eliminate drone. For more info on it click the link below.

TORQUE & TECH nice man happy for you and what help to the most is when you got any aftermarket exhaust it better to remove the sound symposer am pretty sure you’re is off because alot of people complaining about drones it because they still got the sound symposer on it but nice sound sound like the roush a bit i know video dont do justice but it sound nice

Just put it on and omg it is so loud, the videos do only half the justice in person the car is so damn loud. Even on the stock down pipe it sounds sexy. 100% best exhaust you can buy

It’s the best sounding ST exhaust that I’ve heard so congrats. I’m running MBRP on stock downpipe right now and I love it. Catted aftermarket downpipe in the mail. Love your vids dude.

TORQUE & TECH I drive a 2001 Toyota MR2 with a 2ZZ engine and 6spd vs 5spd swap. I’m 19 and the MR2 was my first car. The two seats and lack of storage make it not very practical and I fricken love turbos. That’s why the focus st has my attention right now. Hatchbacks are sweet and I love the ecoboost engines!

I ended up pounding a 9/16 socket on the two bolts to the stock down pipe that were stuck on there. And it ended up working really well. Hope this helps someone else!

The AWD is sick! Tbh, it almost felt like once the boost built on the Ralliart, it seemed faster than the ST. Because the Ralliart has the Automatic SST Twin Clutch, so it seems like the car never really loses boost through shifts.

I have this installed on my 17ST3 with no downpipe. The drone on this thing will drive you nuts but I did not get this to be quiet. It sounds very good at non highway speeds.

I assume this has accessport/strat tune and those aren't factory tune pops/crackle just from open exhaust. is my assumption accurate? at the time of this video you have a [strat] tune for crackles

So for the accu seal clamps, u have to let it have some room where u can see the notches? I have an si and got the same system for it but I noticed this rattling noise. Could it be because I have the accu seal clamps flush (no notches showing) where they connect?

I’m stuck between the track and touring. What made you decide to get the track edition over the touring?
To go track or touring non-resonated? We need more videos of these. Would love to here how each sounded like with an aftermarket downpipe. The cjponyparts comparison video makes it almost seem like the touring version is louder, maybe its the quality of their mics.

Got the flowmaster American thunder. I don't get why they put the resonator up front.... It should be in the back to reduce drone.

Will this void warranty? Also, will it sound different with stock tune? My 17 st is too quiet.
It probably won't sound too different. You won't get the pops that I get but you will get some burbles. Also the warranty thing is tricky. If the dealer suspects whatever issue you have with the car was caused by the exhaust system then they will say that it's not covered under warranty. I spoke with my dealer when I bought the car and they said they are fine with any mods done from the cat back.

Congrats on the new exhaust! It's gorgeous for sure and glad you're happy with the sound. From the videos I've seen, this one (esp the track edition) seems a bit loud for my tastes. I bought a Milltek exhaust like a month ago but am still waiting for it to ship... definitely can't wait to get it.

+sh0ebox21 Thanks! Oh I have heard the Milltek on videos it sounds great. But I don't have a symposer delete it's just "disabled" from my tune but I do still hear it. A symposer delete will probably be the next thing I buy.
Nice. I bought the CFM one for $20 and am waiting till I get my exhaust to get it installed. Hopefully it will ship soon because I'm getting antsy listening to all these sweet exhausts on CZcams :P

On a good note, I pulled the trigger on the FRPP exhaust and just got it installed today! Did the symposer delete last night in preparation for the exhaust. Sounds soooo good, even only on the short drive to work. Can't wait to putz around town and listen to it burble!

I was so pumped to get it on and after install today I have mixed reviews after driving with it cruising slow around town its nice and deep but highway was fucked so loud and droned everytime you touch the gas I had a headache after half hour and couldnt hear my music. I'm just curious if it's normal or others having same issue with exhaust. First night with exhaust and not sure if it will quiet down at all

Did you have to buy any extra hangers? I just got mine and want to make sure that I don't need a hanger that I don't have. I know the facelift FoST don't use the fourth hanger.

It's a pretty different sound. Deeper. Louder and if you have the pops and crackles tune they definitely are much louder. More pronounced.

You don't have to use one. It's just the easiest way.

Should have upgraded the exhaust bracket bushings...only $50 from Cobb.
Doesn't sound bad at all. Im happy with my CNT Racing catless dp and catback. Its got a nice aggressive sound but has less drone the larger exhausts have (that are unnecessary performance-wise with the stock turbo). Does sound good though, regardless what you go with..ANYTHING is better than the crappy factory exhaust that is so quiet...how Ford engineers passed on putting on at least SOMETHING more aggressive, is beyond me.

I just bought a '16 ST. Not sure if I want to go into the lungs of the car right away but I do have a question about the Google Play Music display on your screen at 11:43. Looks like you're using Android Auto or something. Is that something I can update or install on my factory Sync 3 system or do I need to buy an aftermarket something?
Oh if you have the Sync 3 system it just needs an update. I suggest searching on the Ford owners website for the official update. I'm not 100% sure if I still have the unofficial one on my computer.
