Greatest Shooting Duo in History
What duo competes? There is no real other shooting duo jus say one of the best duos
I'm taking russ and lebron over them personally
@@lobby_boy5382lmao greatest
brick shooting duo in history 😅
@@humble378 ok?
@@humble378Lewis and Allen but yeah not as good as Steph and Klay
Who would've thought their chemistry was gonna turn out to be perfect
Hmm anybody with a brain? Not really hard to see how they work well together dipshiy

two of the best shooters in nba history playing golf with two of the best dunkers in nba history
Hell of a crossover aint it
@@NewGoldie both comments were fire
Amazing 😎
@@NewGoldieI see wat u did there
And the 4 fruitiest guys in CZcams comments history right here ^^^^^^^
😂 that self satisfied “mmhm” while looking off into the mid distance is such a “kid talking about his bestfriend vibe”
So wholesome.
"Look at them country club swings"
It’s true though they were privileged rich kids
@@vladokingsley3775you werent even there
@dkmrap1 bruhh both their dad were known nba players, they're privileged
@@dkmrap1 you must not know who Mychal Thompson or Dell Curry are
@@dkmrap1It’s common sense.🤡
Still the best shooting duo
There is no comp tho all the best 3 point shooters were on diff teams i dont get what ur tryna say like theres sm shooting duos
KD-Kyrie better shooter duo overall
@@xsp1522 cap
@@xsp1522casual as hell if you think KD -Ky is a better duo over Steph - Klay. Couldn't even do anything meaningful in BK
@@galactic4830ong 😂 bro must be high there's no way he thought kd and KY were a better 3p shooting duo
That’s crazy and they became the best shooting duo ever😮
greatest backcourt duo in NBA history
Klay's really getting good at talking on these podcasts. He's adorable!
Men: 3 years to say hello, and friends for life.
Women: Best of frienemies on day one.
Not talking to your teammate for 3yrs is crazy 😂
Ayeee sometimes it's like 2 or 3 dudes you never wind up speaking to till the end of the season or school year 😂
Not crazy at all hoop in go home
He means like chopping it up, not like avoiding saying "hey pass it"
Not really though. Ive had coworkers who I see every day for years and I know nothing about them outside of work and vice versa.
@@charmedlilsis1teammates are different then coworkers tho
Top 10 duo honestly
Best backcourt in existence.
It’s pretty safe to say that golden state as an organization didn’t really have a big picture for these two when drafted😂
Nah. Jerry West definitely had the big picture.
Then why would they have drafted them so early?
Well they drafted both of them in the lottery so I don’t know about that lol
@@ninerempire3398 they were picked 7th and 11th. At that point in the draft it's a total crap shoot as to how good a player will be in the NBA, especially since Steph was seen as a liability with glass ankles
@@SuperNuclearUnicorn so we think Jerry West didn’t have a vision ? Are we sure about that ? Every single draft pick is a crap shoot . Jerry west knew exactly what he was doing when he drafted klay and that traded monta a few months after that for bogut
people be calling klay and steph the best shooting duo when they forgetting about Ja and the glock smh 🤦♂️
😂😂😂 I just angry first half of the comment the just laughed
Ja ain’t shoot yet 😂
Hahaha!!
"Its a parade inside my city yeah" -Ja Morant before he got shot up
I would prob say your mom and the basketball team she couldn't play defense but boy could she score 😂
I love the humility they have
Brothers from another mother fr. Shooting capability is insane
Im not surprised I still remember his rookie year and i don't remember him smiling at all that year and he never talked other than postgame interviews and he always gave short answers
That's funny how that works and how relationships develop way later. Makes me wonder how many more friends I would have had I talked more with certain people lol
I can listen to Klay tell stories and shoot the ish all day. Plus his lessons and outlook on life is good to hear as well.
Team USA really making those bonds.. definitely the best recruiting for super teams
That’s wild. I’m talking to my teammates day 1. Especially basketball where there’s only 15 players.
Yeah everyone different bro …now I think about it I’d Probly be like Klay, I’m quiet asf when I got my first job landscaping I had lunch by myself in the car (crew of 5-10 ppl), for a good year before I made a work mate, I’m just quiet asf , and did my work, went home 🤣🤣🤣
Dog stfu Lmaoo what teammates
They were just shy, quiet rookies trying to figure it all out!
The context he explained it in made perfect sense though since Steph’s career was almost over during his first two years
@@hazy9785 that’s cool and all but it’s gonna go something like this “hey what’s up….you play shooters? Bet. Let’s link up after practice” it doesn’t have to be much haba
Brothers for life 👍
Can’t force a true connection
That’s crazy, I would think for basketball players that everybody on the team would be familiar with each other. It’s not like a football team where the team is too big to really know everybody and never really get to play with the offensive or defensive side.
Steph be thanking for that injury and not being traded.
It’s crazy it took them that long , they have so much in common.
I love these stories especially explaining certain greatness in our time ..these podcasts have been a blessing
P doing gods work with this podcast bro. Having greats talk about the moments we see and what was going through their minds at the time, so cool!!
That's honestly how it is if you have two quiet people together.
Klay is so funny the way he tells stories
Klay is like we found more of each other in golf course than during practice and game of basketba.ll
Right 😂😂😂
Take me back to this time in basketball. Their first championship was beautiful to watch.
Klay is just a handsome man! I will a “periodttt “ on that one. Very kind and well rounded!
They didn't now they will be one of the best duo at that time!
That's real I can believe that sometimes everything you need is right in front of you
GREAT STUFF.
And that moment marked the birth of the duo assassins 🏀🔥
He said mmmm with all his heart💯♥️brotherhood♥️
So they only got to know each other right before they're championship season. Crazy
This is the most lightskin start ever
I don't know how you don't talk to a teammate for 3 full years. That's actually crazy.
pretty sure what he meant by talk is talk outside of work, cause that actually make sense
He means like socializing
That's not what he meant his rookie year and Steph Curry 3rd year. It was much to really talk about 2011-12 . Klay Thompson was coming of the bench his rookie year I think Steph Curry was also going through injury at the time.
PG, I need that hat
Yoo I just clocked it wowww.
What i like about him he is honest
Dynasty 🏀🏆🏆🏆🏆🏀
that’s yk us guys it’ll take us a WHILE for us to say something to each each other and get to know each other but once we do man… it’s a beautiful thing man fr!
That’s when the scariest shooting backcourt duo was born
That is so funny right there Lol. Let's go Warriors. Curry and Klay.
Golfing with Clyde Drexler and Nique is legendary
I'm surprised they don't have team building exercises for these players from jump. I guess the bench warmer truly are there as placeholders for the game players
He called out the lightness
Klay top 20 all time
Klay is just too real.
Clyde just called them privileged lol
Lol steph ain’t talk to klay till he started balling 😂😂 then they won a ring that next season that’s wild 🔥
Monta Ellis was still rocking everybody
And to think a lot of folks thought Steph and Monta were going to be the future Warriors' backcourt... I remember Warrior fans booed Joe Lacob for trading Monta....... Little did they know it was the best move he'd make fast forward now they have 4 titles.......
Klay sounds like Clique Productions
Clyde….man these greatest shooters old man…we better appreciate this lol
Time is a powerful weapon if you know how to use it.. BE PATIENT ❤
Wow that’s wild to hear! They’re really brothers you could tell!
Pre-prime splash brothers, and older dominique and clyde playing golf a weird combo
That's crazy, but when you think about what was happening at that time... makes total sense.
Golf is like meditation for a lot of basketball players lol.
Both guys not wanting to fail
GREATEST SHOOTING BACKCOURT EVER👑🐐🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That’s so interesting. NBA teams are 15 man rosters and coaches. Couldn’t imagine not talking to a team mate I see 3-4 times a week.
Every mans greatest bond, started with a game of golf
And the Splash Brothers were born #goats 🙌🏽
2 of the best shooter ever..
Clyde the glide
I remember listening to a sports radio show and Mark Jackson was the coach of the Warriors at the time and he said the Klay and Steph were going to be great long before anyone knew them and right after the Interview he was fired.
country club swings lol
That’s crazy cause I think they won it all in Klay’s 4th season. After those 3 years when they didn’t talk lol
Steph hit em wit that “LETS GO GOLFING”
Abhuti Splash 💪🏿🙏🏿
Introverts relationship
I already knew that from the early San Antonio series they were so locked in they drove each other to the Brink
It seems weird to hear it but I can see how it happened that they really didn't know each other till the 3rd season. These are grown men playing in a very hard league where your relationships are mostly wirh the coaches, agents & family. Plus players are in and out of teams.
The 2 best shooters in history are also the most chill guys lol how wouldn’t it work out
This is a great podcast
That’s wild.
You gotta respect how a lot of the shit the warriors did was home grown
Thanks Clyde lol
Monaco Ferrari hat…. PG I need that
Now that's wild
After 2014 when the played for USA in the World Cup, Steph won his first MVP and their 1st championship.
Mark Jackson benched Klay the first 30 and didn’t know Draymond existed. Safe to say Kerr unlocked the treasure chess
You don’t know a damn thing clearly
Exactly. People act like the Warriors did Mark Jackson wrong by replacing him. They actually did the right thing, Clay and Steph would have never developed into the Splash bros under Jackson's antiquated offensive style.
I wanna say that next season is when they made that playoff push right?
Thanks Clyde 🤣
What Klay isn't mentioning in this particular interview, is that it was him that hated Steph in the beginning 😂. He admitted that in an old interview. He hated him but then realised that Steph was actually nice and he couldn't hate him anymore lol.
NBA GMs take notes. Chemistry builds after years for rings. Classic
And that's when the splash bros were created
It's gonna go back to the first three years if you don't start making shots 😂
The shy kids in 9th grade that later takeover the whole school senior year lol
Bruh third year is the championship though😂😓
Imagine they could have won in their 2nd year if they got to know each other sooner. I’m being factious, but hey we’ll never know.
@@myka4337 nah I feel you , it’s definitely not a stretch but the spurs and heat were tough that year
@@myka4337nah no one was beating San Antonio n they weren’t beating Heatles either
@@myka4337hell no. No way.
Actually the 4th
Klay should’ve told Clyde, tell me about Kenny Walker. lol
3 whole years… Daaamn
And fans, GMs, media, and teams think you can put stars together and they will mesh immediately. It took the greatest shooting duo 3 full seasons and they didn’t even click in warrior uniforms. It took the Olympics for them to connect
I find it interesting it took them so long
