I'm glad the the time-honoured tradition of Tom verbally choosing a direction to go only for the game to defy him and force him into the opposite path continues.
It makes me so happy, because that happens to me all of the time as well. I can spend 5 minutes lining up that perfect shot, that SURELY couldn't POSSIBLY backfire... and then it does. And I am sad.

Tom ignoring chopping ballock when breaking the shields was giving him 5 ballwark each brought me great sadness, considering how good an additon that is to the build

The different classes make it way easier to force builds because they only get orbs and relics to fit certain builds. The regular peglin has access to all the other classes, so it ends up just giving you random crap. Like the balladin can't get any slime orbs, but the peglin can get bullwark, slim, and spinfection orbs.
Tom discovering that a Bulwark/Muscircle build is literally the best build in the game is a nice thing.
iirc He's always known, it just used to be easier to put it together so he'd avoid it cause it was kinda boring to do the same thing every round?
Funny thing was that Tom actually didn’t take damage from the upgrade hammer due to one of his relics reducing all damage by 1.
Technically, it reduces life loss by one when you lose health. It still plinks his ballwark for 1 damage.
If you're defining "damage" as "health lost" yes, but it still causes "damage" to ballwark, because Intentional Oboe only applies to health lost. See 24:30, ballwark goes from 11 to 10 on discard.

So glad Tom finally got a Bulwark build to work! I feel like they are always a bit slow but at some point just completely spiral out of control.
Justice for Chopping Ballock! With the relic that gains balwark when a shielded peg is broken that ball gave you 80 balwark in one turn.
Yes, but, you see, Tom immediately forgot he had that relic, and even though it sounded like he read what it does, he was completely unable to retain the words in his head.
But yeah, came awful close to tossing out an orb that worked perfectly well with his build, even before the hammer.
I can only read that as choppin bollock even tho I'm pretty sure it's basically pronouncin the b in block separate from the l.

Tom, you should do a custom run with the seed set to all purple. It's every node is a miniboss
Balladin was fantastic and you could get some really high muscircle numbers. It was amazing. I think the new version would be good with Highwayorbery.

I love Tom taking the Echo Chamber specifically to make Irresponsiball damage carry on for the rest of the fight, only to continue holding it as a finisher.
I'm loving all the Peglin recently.
You had some good synergy for the Chopping Bollock - it makes the shields and you got the relics that gives ballwark both when you create and destroy shields
I just noticed that Irresponsiball is worded wrong in the description. It says Consumes Ballwark *when fired*. But that's not what it does, it lets you build up more and more Ballwark with itself and when it voids out only then does it wipe out all Ballwark which definitely feels like a worse deal than what is worded.
I thought Tom had beansed it up on that last shot. He lucked out by hitting two red bombs
I feel like they can’t quite decide how the Balladin is supposed to work
But I enjoy the game and I enjoy Tom playing it so I’ll ride along for all the updates.

the orb you wanted to get rid off that whole time was better than you were giving it credit for, it was turning pegs into shileds, and you had the relic where when you break shield pegs you get bulwark

As far as I can tell, seeding shouldn't change the gameplay, but it makes it so that you can replay a seed or share a seed. I don't think they built rules into what can happen within a seed, have they?

I love that Tom is such a fiend for coins but always let's the Loot Slime get away. It just wouldn't be Ol' Tom if he actually knew how to play games.
I think Bulwark is definitely better on crucible and since afaik you're still playing just base peglin difficulty it's not that big of a deal to the build.
Also, please kill Rainbow Slime Tom... it's the loot goblin, crystal lizard, treasure monster, ect ect. It's a gold pinhata.
New Mechanic you might not have realized, breaking those shield blocks in levels where a unit has a shield damages their shield so chopping ballock even without the shield breaking relic is actually SUPER good in level 2.
