I have been looking for this kind of tips & tricks and this is the only one that really helped me. it was concise and straight to the point. thank you so much.
Great! I like Shift CMD 5 for screenshots you can either hit capture on a specific area or just enter if it's the screen shot you want, and videos as well. It has more options and is quite useful.
I'm a social media manager so I use a LOT of different apps every day. The split screen tip, for me, is the highlight of this video. This is going to help me tremendously! Thanks so much. (also the emoji access shortcut for captions, etc)
Thank you so much. As a noob Mac user I recommend everyone this video. It was a very useful video. not the big talks just straight to the main topic. Thank you again
Great instructional video. My favourite tip was quiting apps quickly. I am still learning shortcuts. Thank you.
Thanks for this wonderful video, my favourite was the emoji keyboard and yes the window screenshot, especially if the window is curved.
Great, simple and clear video, no nonsense absolutely brilliant work thank you
Tap to click on the trackpad is a game changer for me. I also enabled it on my Magic Keyboard for my iPad Pro.
Your channel not only had me subscribe… but also inspired me to unsubscribe from the endless others where you’re lucky to get a truly *useful* tip but just maybe once a year & 80% of tips are well known recycled nonsense. So, thank you for maintaining a wide birth from the hyperbolic. You’re crushing it. ❤
That is the first time I learned about the split screen function. It's awesome for reading/researching articles while writing in a word doc while studying.
Always enjoy your content Michael. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great tips! I've learned so much from your video. Thank you!
the split screen and the short cut for the Memojis ....the whole video what so good ...keep them coming 😃 (use the short cut)
You just made my day with the tap to click! (And all of the others are great too. I had a Mac in the past but have been using Microsoft for several years and I forgot everything!)
this is the most useful presentation i have seen, thanks.
Thank you very much for a brilliant tutorial, you got a new fan. Keep it up, much appreciated.
Thanks for the helpful tips! I especially liked the split screen one. I had no idea! Keep up the great work!
Yeah that tip was awesome!!!!
Thank you! these tips will be so helpful!!!
Great tips. I learned some new things here. Very useful. Many thanks!
loved the shortcuts,,,,command shift 4, pinch in, split screen, also Love the dictionary and thesaurus option
The click setting was the best! I can't thank you enough :') my fingers were killing me.

Whoa! I did not know that I could screenshot a window with the ! Thanks, that is a great tip!😊
Excellent tips. Thank you!!!! Even if it’s a year later!
Thank you so much for all these tips
loved it. 1st time user of mac. thanks michael. jose
I liked speed of your narration, it is easy to understand what you are saying. (b) tips on Trackpad, Launchpad and Emoji. Great Job 🙂
Amazing Tips n Tricks, 👏🏻
I love the dictionary feature, specially when you have 2 keyboards installed, meaning in both the languages will come. In my case, I have English and Urdu (Pakistani). amazed to see the meaning of word in my national Language too.
really good video frfr just got my MacBook now and this really helped appreciate it 💯
This is very helpful thank you very much
I'm new to the Apple ecosystem, and I need to write down a bunch of these tips. I loved the opening up and closing of pictures by pressing down the space bar. I also like how to close out an app pressing the cmd + Q key. Thanks for the presentation. I was wondering how to save live video in case i want to play games and edit them later.
You have all shortcuts like ⌘Q in the applications menus.
I too sat down with pen and paper to note down the shortcuts. I find it a little difficult to use split screen as everytime I click on the other side to open the next video the previous window opens up full screen.
micheal these were helpful man 👍
Screen shot of certain area was my favorite
Thanks for the tips!😁
Thank you! Great tip for using the Apple Watch to unlock.
😍 Thank you for the tips
i'm a new mac user and those are really useful shortcuts that i used to use on my windows notebook
Very useful! Thanks 🙏
for me:
1. for the emojis part, I like to make a little change in the settings so whenever I press FN it gives me the emoji keyboard
2. I like to do Shift CMD 5, it gives you both options 3 and 4, and if you want it to be picture or video with which mic, etc
3. Actually the lookup feature is true with 3 fingers (as you said) and not with 1 finger as you write
4. Since you talked about split screen, I think checking out the application named Magnet in the app store would be something you would like! I didn't know there was an actual split in mac so I tried to see if there were any other options and I came by this application it gives you so many options
Here's some extra tip
you can change the formatting of a photo let's say from PNG to JPEG just by renaming that file into the formatting you want! not only limited to photos for sure but I can for example switch from PPTX to pdf just by renaming that file :)
I really loved the video! it is amazing and the space feature with the preview will definitely come in handy! thank you so much, Michael have a blessed day
the TAP TO CLICK is a game changer thank you so much
Thank you it was helpful👍🏼
Cmd + 4 was the best. I never knew it was possible to take screenshots like that
Thank you, Michael. Cmd+Ctr+Space is good tip! 🙂
You can use the globe button next to control for single click to open emojis.
i learned something new. thank you.
Learnt a few new things .. cheers
Hi Michael, Split screen was my favorite new tip. I have a question. My iMac is two years old. When it was new I could hold down vowel keys and accents in other languages would appear above the letter, so I was able to select that letter with an accent. Recently I had some help from Apple support and they made some changes to my computer, after which the accent feature disappeared and now if I hold down a vowel key, the letter just keeps repeating instead of offering me accent options. I have called Apple twice and they can't restore the accent feature. However, here are some instruction, which unfortunately, I cannot understand. Is this something you can explain to us. I may not be the only one missing the accents option. Thanks very much.
I like the spilt window feature though it's not perfect as in MS Windows. Wish there would be some keyboard shortcut for that.
One of the best !!
Thanks so much a few of these tips i know but the rest? i don"t know at all!!!!!
superb sir thank you.
Gamechanging! Thanks a million
Wow This was very helpful for me
when you pulled up the emoji tab, at 1:52, for me, I only need to press the FN "the little globe" and it opens up instantly, thanks for the tips they really helped a lot
yeah i have mine custom set like that as well
Great help!!!
THANK YOU🥳
I am so glad to know the split screen!
Great video !
fun fact, you can force touch to activate preview or triple tap on older macs. one of my most used shortcuts for reviewing photos and articles quickly
omg thanks
so helpful!
Thank you!
The camera screen shot icon was my favorite

Thanks 🙏
Thank you.
thx!
thanku!
nice video
amazing
You can slide from one software to another while you are in full screen by just sliding your all three fingers right to left and vice and versa.
Please remove from the charge, it's 100%. Thank You.
😂 how thoughtful
When it’s full it doesn’t charge anymore it just doesn’t use the battery.
Split screen was helpful
I was so happy with this video. The tricks were great! Few tips to make it perfect.
1. Define your terms. Several words, such as force press and EMOS, or how to get that launch pad icon was missing.
2. Keep your presentation 100% non-political. You give one example in here that shows some Apple stuff that is political. I suggest keeping your presentations pure as that is not needed.
Otherwise fabulous job. I like the pacing, the voice, the topics.
what other shortcut keys or is there amy notification for me to know that my macbook is fully charged?
CMD + Spacebar IMHO the best shortcut.
Make the background black to remove the notch
2:08 Emoji keyboard can be opened by simply clicking the fn key (below left).
Been using trackpad for my desktop Macs since it came out. Never going back to mice. I wish windows had something similar.
Actually useful information for once
1、按住空格键直接预览文件(太有用了)
2、command+Q:彻底关闭应用
3、command+control+空格(按次序按):打开表情键盘
4、command+shift+4+
FN + E is emoji too
Could someone help me with looking up a word with track pad? I could not get it right?
how do u get game on a MacBook ?
Thanks for commend+Q
The 'fn' key will bring up the emoji's with one click. 🧡
Swish is 16 bucks, but its great for window management!!
For Quick Look: Spacebar tap is working too, instead of holding
😍 cool
