    colin thubron is one of the last great travel writers of our times.wish though he had spoken a little bit more about that other great travel writer jan morris who passed away recently!

      @@jeremybassetti 'to the holy mountain' is a beautiful book and also perhaps thubron's most personal and melancholic books where he even tells us about his family and the reasons which inspired him to take this high mountain dangerous journey to lord shiva's abode mount kailash!
