*1996 Bulls were undoubtedly the best team ever, here's why:* They were the best defensive team of all time. They had arguably 3 of the best defenders ever in Pippen, Rodman and Jordan. They also had Harper and some other pieces who all played great defense. They were extremely tough mentally and physically, they were the most focused, competitive, and cold-blooded team I've ever seen. There were many times where they literally looked like a bunch of possessed savages coming for your soul. They had the greatest player ever in Michael Jordan, who is also, of course, the best offensive player ever. Many times Rodman, by himself, had more rebounds than the opposing team. I mean you could go on, and on, and on ... about 96' Bulls. I've been watching basketball for almost 30 years now, they are without a doubt, the best team of all time. I'm very confident and comfortable saying that

Why don’t people ever talk about him being a top 10 player of all time. He averaged like 16-15 rebounds a game at 6’6. Was the only DVP with less than a steal and block a game (that just Lets you know he was just stopping everybody before he even tried to attempt a steak or block. Made the playoffs with every team he’s been on (except the lakers). He literally had a impact on every team he played on without even scoring. If the media didnt glorify offense so much and let the antics of Rodman clog their view of his actual worth. People would easily rank him top 10 I’ll even say top 5 honestly.

that's because most of the top 15 to 30 players all time were 2 way guys with better resumes than Rodman. Rodman was great at what he did, but he was a one sided player and that's not enough to get u in that type of discussion. The only exception to that is Russel because he was still a decent scorer at 17 a game and passer at 4 a game to go along with his defense.

I figured it didnt need to be said because its obvious. But lebron has showcased that lockdown abilty when hes focused as I said. Hes always focused on offense first, where as rodmans main tool was always defense because he lacked versatility on the other end. Lebron was almost dpoy twice for a reason. He plays lockdown defense in spurts like most of the greats, but it was never a focus. Only a select few did it as consistently and as relentless as Rodman so it's hard to compare

I was Bulls fan before Rodman, but when they played Spurs and Bulls I couldn’t watch because I admired the Bulls as a Team and Rodman as a player. Jordan knew how to let him shine and do his thang!!! Phil Jackson said he didn’t give a shit what he wore off the court because he always did his job. It’s a crying shame Robinson hated him so much. Those were truly the glory days of basketball. Jordan, Rodman, Pippin- Robinson, Del Negro- Bird-Johnson-Shaw, Hardaway (sp?) Hakeem Olajuwon(sp?)-Barkley-Kerr-Mason-Stockton-Malone-Thompson-Washington! I don’t know what today’s ball seems to be missing. Those guys are good he’ll, great, but it just seems like it’s lacking. Maybe there is too much personality. Rodman was loud and the Bulls knew it but they meshed well and ALL could shine. Seems like today it’s too much about the fame or power instead of the love of the game shining thru? Idk, there’s just something missing
